"landschaftlich sehr schön gelegenes Hotel"Bewertet von einem Hotels.com Gast am 18. Jan. 2012

"close to Sage Theatre for concert"
The hotel is excellent venue for anyone going to The Sage. We found the hotel to be excellent in everything. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet even though on arrival the bar had been very busy with young people. We heard no noise during the night. The food was excellent before the concert and the breakfast really excelled. The staff were all […] very friendly and asked if we needed anything help - in all it was a very pleasant stay and will definately go back again. Mehr
"Great Hotel"
Great hotel in fantastic location for the Sage. The only downside was the bed was not very comfortable, but loved the breakfast and the staff were very helpful.
"jurys in gatshead"
lovely hotel overlooking the queside close to all bars @restraunts near newcastle centre very impressed with condition of room super and very helpful staff.
"Jurys Inn Gateshead Quays - Recommended"
Ideal location for Gateshead Quays venues including The Sage .. I particularly appreciated helpfulness and efficiency of reception personnel in addition to the cleanliness & comfort. There was though some noise from the river from early morning - I didn't find out whether this was regular feature or associated with specififc maintenance activity at […] this time. Mehr
"Jury's Inn Gateshead"
excellent new hotel, very well equipped - we were there with a 5 month old baby and nothing was too much trouble excellent staff, friendly and accommodating. lots of hen/stag parties but no noisy disruptions. location great for the city centre. would highly recommend.

"Newcastles Little Brother"
The Gateshead Jury Hotel is some 12 weeks old and absolutely great value for money. Very modern, good restaurant and bar food.
"The Jurys Inn at Gateshead."
The hotel was only built recently so everything was in pristine condition. it was very comfortable and there was good air conditioning in the room. I found this excellent, as I tend to find that rooms in hotels are generally far too warm, which stops me from having a good sleep at night. Breakfast was good as well. The hotel sits right on the river […] just a short stroll from the Baltic and the Sage and the Millenium Bridge, over which it is but a short walk to trhe centre of Newcastle. Mehr
"jurys quayside newcastle most helpful staff"
we could not fault our stay .Room clean ,comfortable and very adequate facilities. The staff obliged in every way even to the point of cooking a separate breakfast as one of us is gluten intolerant .Cannot recommend highly enough for service and great value for money will use again in future.
"Great family stay"
Booked for my daugters birthday, 2adults and 2 teens. We understood that there was a double and a sofa bed but when we got there we were told the rooms only had a double and a single and that it was newcastle Jurys across the river that offered this. But the staff were great and put us a put up bed in the room straight away. This turned out better for […] our kids as we have a boy and girl. Room was a bit tight so if you are going to do this would be better to upgrade to a larger room. Throughout our stay the staff were welcoming, helpfull and friendly, breakfast great and views straight over the Tyne. Will definately be back. To get into Newcastle just walk over the millenium bridge and if you don't fancy a hike up Dean street just catch the Quayside connection bus that runs regularly. We will definately be back. Mehr
"Nice hotel shame about the bog standard service"
Lovely hotel, no problem with parking, nice breakfast just a shame about the service no welcome smile you would associate with a hotel stay, plates cleared while waited for breakfast eggs at the buffet, just a lack of what I would call basic hospitality, training is definitely needed.
"Jury's Gateshead"
A new hotel right on the Quayside of the Tyne on the Gateshead side, with bar and restaurant but no other hotel type facilities. Everything looked nice and new, with pleasant decor throughout. There was comfy seating available in the reception area, a large reception desk which was well staffed and a good sized bar with plenty of comfy seating and a […] nice view of the Tyne. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and provided the usual cereals, pastries and standard cooked breakfast choices. We were in a room for 3 adults, which was a very good size, although the bathroom was quite small but was perfectly adequate for our 1 night stay. The only big negative was the room was absolutely freezing and even though we put the heating on full and left it running from 4pm and right through the night, the room was still very, very cold. Reception were helpful and offered to move us but as we were only staying in the room to sleep we decided it wasn't worth the bother to move. There was no heating in the bathroom either, so that was freezing too but the shower was fantastic and warmed us up nicely in the morning. To add to the lack of heating one of the windows in the room didn't fit properly and so there was a constant cold draft coming in, which might explain why the room wouldn't warm up. We also heard someone a couple of rooms away from us complaining about the cold temperature of their room too. Anyway, we fedback the info to the reception staff and they made a note to investigate. One other thing to note, the hotel car parking is very limited. There is a small hotel car park which costs £5, a public car park next to hotel which costs £1 an hour and restricted off street parking (no parking between 8am and 6pm). Parking is a huge issue and unless the hotel can agree a special rate in the public car park, it can be quite expensive to park near the hotel Despite the negatives, we would definitely stay at this hotel again; it was inexpensive and offered everything we needed. "jurys gateshead"
A nice clean n modern hotel at a reasonable rate, staff were very helpful, food was nice too,i would definitely go and stay at this hotel again,no hassle to leave room early next morning
"Jurys inn Quayside, No entry unless u r telepathic"
The hotel was very noisy, full of stags, hens and football fans. The evening was marred by security staff on the door refusing entry to those couples who only had one key. No indication of any door policy was given to us at check in and so we had left our second key in the room. We are in our early 40s and were smartly dressed but were still made to […] feel very awkward by staff and police security on our return to the hotel later that evening. We wont be staying here again. Mehr
"Jurys Newcastle Gateshead Quayside"
Excellent location beautiful views of the riverside very new Hotel great value and very convenient for the City centre all restaurants and sights.
"Jurys Inn Gateshead Quayside"
New hotel opened in 2011 on waterfront near Millennium Bridge. 10 minutes walk across bridge to Newcastle. Excellent location. Comfortable rooms; very good value.
"Jurys inn Gateshead - great hotel in a fab locatio"
Stayed here for 2 nights on 27-29 October and had a great time. Hotel room was big with lovely river views. First time in newcastle and first time on a jury's Inn and be back!
Gernerally great. Clean and new. A few negative points: 1. No free wifi - not good for a brand new hotel 2. Lack of info for guests on wifi facilities in our room 3. Coffee machine at breakfast malfunctioning most days and coffee was terrible
Room Phone did not work and multiple requests made , no action despite of involvement of the supervisor. Unwilling to even extend the check out time by one to two hours, even though I was attending a conference in the morning.
"Basic"
Definitely no added luxuries!! Breakfast and attitide of staff in dining room left a lot to be desired. Beds comfortable. Hairdryer plugged in at back of drawer; not much use if you're 6ft 4"
"RIVERSIDE LOCATION"
New Hotel, good location, Nice Bar....perfect for business and leisure.
"Jury's Inn, Gateshead - Good, but maybe a bit pric"
This is a nice new, clean and modern hotel. The rooms were well sized and the fittings were of good quality. It was close to the quayside, so walking distance to the busy pubs and clubs down there.. The only draw back was it was maybe a little pricey and having to pay extra for a car park was not acceptable.
"Jury's Inn Gateshead"
Great location, very comfortable place to stay. However, Reception staff could be more polite.
"Jurys Inn Newcastle Gateshead Quays"
We found this to be a lovely hotel, but a couple of things let it down unfortynately. We are very frequent visitors to hotels, and one of the most important things for us is a good night's sleep. We were in room 302, which was very close to the end of the corridoor. We were woken on several occasions during the night by the door at the end of the corridoor […] closing very loudly. A minor complaint - but something that could easily be resolved and makes all the difference. Mehr
"Jurys Inn Gateshead"
I`ve stayed at more hotels than I care to remember this year, but I can honestly say the Jurys Inn Gateshead beats the rest hands down. The staff were all brilliant, the room was excellant and the steak and treacle tart that I had in the resturant were something else. The only minor concern I would have is if I was arriving after about 6pm, as the […] onsite carpark is limited. However there is a pay and display car park adjacent to the hotel anyway. The hotel and staff were that good I`ve now stayed there twice witihin a week and it will definately be my preferred choice when next I`m up that way. Mehr
"New Hotel - just need to iron out start up issues"
Jury's Inn standard stuff, nice comfy bed, nice size room, and facilities. Location was not great for me as I was working across the other side of the river and traffic was awful, and in the evenings I found myself walking across the bridge to find something to do but it does mean it's quite quiet at night which is good for sleeping. Let down areas […] were: that the toilet had not been cleaned properly when I arrived; car parking is limited and not clear that you need to get ticket validated before leaving by reception (which is understandably very busy in the morning) resulting in people stuck at the barrier; breakfast can be booked at reception for cheaper than in the restaurant which was a bit confusing and the comms between restaurant and reception was not clear; restaurant ran out of jam and no milk on table ready for tea/coffee so spent few minutes trying to work out where to get some from. Could have run to the shop and bought a jar and put some jam in little bowls for a temporary stop gap. Overall staff are helpful and service good on front of house, but they have bottle necks at reception in the morning and could do with a formal express check out to alleviate the issue of 1) queuing again if you've already left credit card details and 2) the dreaded car park ticket validation. Would recommend this hotel once these issues ironed out. Mehr
There were still a few snags in the hotel running (second weekend it was open), mostly in terms of information and so forth, but the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. They were also very friendly and helpful with the babysitting arrangements we had put in place for the Saturday night. The room we were in was small, but that […] was no problem given the price we were paying. Breakfast was good, except for the coffee! There was a small car park belonging to the hotel, which still had places available at the time we arrived Saturday lunchtime. When we left, though, the barrier appeared to be stuck open and then fell down on top of our car as we waited to turn out of the entrance. We have a fairly old car so it wasn't an issue, but we'd have been very cross if our car had been new. There was a much larger pay-and-display carpark nearby. This claimed to close overnight but actually remained accessible and the hotel staff were advising people to park there overnight. It was on a four hour maximum stay though, so I imagine parking can be a problem if you wish to stay several days and can't get room in the car park. Mehr
"Hotel opført i 2011."
Mehr
