Hanoi Calypso Hotel - Hanoi

Staff and management could not have been more helpful the rooms was a bit on the small side but had everything you need even a computer.the only problem was the lift you could hear it in the bedroom, but I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Very good service stuff going all out to please. The owner of the hotel was himself serving the guest while we were there. Initial booking for 2 days extended another 4 days. GM of hotel was a delight to deal with he helped to arrange our side trips to Halong Bay and Sapa. Prices was competitive with other agencies in town saving the hassle of hunting […] around.. Hotel location is in a quieter part of Hanoi's old quarters. Some of the Hanoi popular and cleaner Pho, Ban Cha food stalls just around the corner at Bat Dan. Popular Vietnamese Restaurant just 5 minutes away. Alternate Cha Ca restaurant nearby gives the original restaurant a good fight. Hotel provides great and generous western and Vietnamese breakfast.. Lovely botique hotel, wonderful and helpful staff in the Ancient City. Tasty breakfast with lots of variety.

Very good hotel with wonderful staff service. Room are clean and comfortable with free internet service. Good location to nearby major attraction.

Stayed for two nights in late February. Arrived quite late at night, but still got very friendly welcome. Very comfortable bed and room, with complimentary fruit, water and coffee and teaaling facilities. Also had fluffy dressing gowns and slippers. Good breakfast menu with choice of hot dishes, freshly made, and the usual spread of fruit, breads, etc. Tour […] agent on hand during daytime, but a tad more expensive than agents in the backpacker area. This hotel is very much a budget hotel. There are very few amenities, and the standard rooms have NO outside windows. We were also left stranded at the Hanoi airport at midnight when the hotel manager failed to send the car for our arrival pick-up. We arranged for the car several weeks prior to our arrival and we were stuck by ourselves in the airport. […] We had to call the hotel multiple times before we finally got a car to drive us into the city. Calypso is a well managed and well kept hotel in the old town area. It was a very pleasant surprise to see the nice room, good bed, and ample space. Leaving the bustling streets, the hotel provides a good place to rest and re-charge for new adventures. Great value for money - wether you're there for business or pleasure.

cannot fault in any way, staff very friendly and knowledgable. this place is a clean as a whisle

I am not really disappointed with the room and its cleanliness. in fact its very clean and comfy. Just that this hotel lacks the following: 1) credit card machine . bring cash 2) small change - bring smaller denomination 3) dont get them to arrange transport to airport. they call a taxi instead of private salon car 4) dont ask for room service. they […] get it from nearby restaurants and it sucks! My friends and I stayed in Calypso's family suite for 6 days in Sept 2011. It was a fantastic holiday, and the attentiveness of the staff and hotel ambience contributed to a large part in making it a success. I think the hotel is quite new, and everything is extremely clean. Family suite balcony rocks! Ammenities: 4.5/5.0 Free wifi, large screen tv, rainshower head, comfy beds, whats there to complain? Except one thing, have more mirrors! There is only one mirror in the toilet. Service: 5.0/5.0 This one is a perfect 10. Staff made us feel at home, extremely helpful and attentive. Gave us directions and tips on where to get stuff (coffee beans, street food etc). Went back late one day after partying, street stalls were all closed, and we were starving. The hotel forgot to pick us up when we arrived in the hotel. The manager, Kevin apologized to us and offered us an upgrade. So we got a family suite at the top floor. The room is very clean and tidy. The deco is pleasant too. On top of that I was pleased with the fact they even provide a dvd player,computer, with Pc and free internet in the room. 호텔에 들어서는 순간 생각보다 작다는 생각이 들었습니다. 그러나 어딜 둘어봐도 깨끗합니다. 안내 데스크든 벨보이든 모두 친절했습니다. 방에 들어 섰을 때 방이 크지는 않았지만 있어야 할 것은 모두 있었고 사진에서처럼 매우 깨끗하더군요. 아침 식사가 제공 되는데 평균 이상은 되는 것 같습니다. 호텔은 통해서가 아니라 다른 여행사를 통해서 투어 상품을 예약했는데 제 시간에 오지 않는 문제가 생겼습니다. 그 상황에서 호텔 매니저가 이리저리 전화를 해서 문제를 해결해 줬습니다. 마지막까지 정말 친절한 곳이라는 생각이 들었습니다. 시설과 친절 면에서 정말 탁월한 것 같습니다.

5泊しました。1泊3000円強とは信じられないいいホテルでした。部屋は新しくてかわしいし、高速インターネットのPCが部屋についているのがすごく便利。 ウェルカムフルーツを毎日替えてくれて、朝ごはんもフルーツたっぷり。スタッフも親切で丁寧です。 ただ、隣のビルが工事中で、朝8時～夜6時くらいまで騒音がひどく、昼寝ができず。　たまりかねてレセプションに相談したところ、すぐにLuxor　Hotelに移動させてくれました。まあホテルそのものはCalypso　Hotelのほうが断然いいですが対応はありがたかったです。
