Leigh House Hotel - London

Small and simple hotel near King's cross - which is perfect, close to the center of London but still in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is friendly and helpful - they serve nice english breakfasts. Comfort is basic but the rooms are clean.

Location good. Breakfast terrible!

My three-year-old son really enjoyed the stay. Very friendly and kind staffs there made us feel comfortable and at home. The room was not big, but big enough and clean. I would like to stay there again if I go to London to stay.

Really really happy with Leigh House and if you need to stay over night in town somewhere central and reasonable then you can't go wrong. The rooms were small but immaculate and finished to an extremely high spec as was the general decoration of the hotel. The hotel is situated in a busy and vibrant residential area so there are lots of places to eat and drink nearby. It is situated near the Foundling Museum which is a small but very moving exhibition space. It is also close to a number of independent bookshops and very close to a number of stations to get around. Stayed here for one night prior to an early Eurostar. The room (room 4) was small but had everything I needed in it. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spotless and the shower powerful. The rooms aren't soundproof but I didn't have much issue with noise from other rooms. The guy on reception was lovely - very friendly and efficient. I left at […] 5.30am so didn't have breakfast which was a shame. Overall - great rate for a basic, comfortable place to sleep in a good area. Will use again. Mehr

For a budget hotel in central London the single room was very clean, slightly compact, but comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was enough to set me up for the day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel room was nicely designed, though small (as most seem to be in London). The staff was great and very helpful. There was no phone in the room I stayed in, however, and the wireless internet connection was spotty, so I did sometimes feel a bit disconnected. But overall a delightful stay.

This review comes as a warning to potential guests of Leigh House Hotel. Do not under any circumstance allow this hotel to put you in the basement room. The room is adjacent to the breakfast area that sets up at 6:30 in the morning, so if you like a long lie then forget it. The room has no bathroom or shower, which means you have to pass the breakfast […] room to get to the shower and bathroom, not really that great of an idea when you have just woken up and you are passing by other guests to get a shower or use the toilet. The bathroom and the room itself back onto a bin storage area for the take away restaurant next door which means there is an infestation of flys both in the toilet and room, nice!!!! As if that isn't bad enough they have to mask the smell of that takeaway and bin area with plug in air freshners. Apart from that the hotel is situated is a brilliant location 10 mins walk from Euston and Kingcross and 5 mins walk from the nearest tube station. Mehr

There was confusion about payment on reception not a smooth operation. The main concern for me was the noise from the pub oposite and the windows need to be sealed or double glazed in the year 2011. I only booke here as had to be up early to go to Brussels not good!!!

Detta är ett litet hotell bekvämt gångavstånd till de cenrala delarna av London (ca 15 min till Oxford street). Vi bodde i det enda trebädds rummet på hotellet och det var mycket litet för tre vuxna personer. Positivt var området, flera små restauranger och pubar. Frukosten var okej, den innehöll bl a, ägg, bacon, bönor i tomatsås och rostat bröd.

Ett prisvärt hotell med bra läge! (Tog ca 15 min att gå till Oxford street.) Jag och en väninna bodde här under 4 nätter i oktober. Vårt rum var litet men fräscht. Sängen var skön men det var lite kallt i och med att fönstret inte var helt tätt. Frukosten var helt okej. En bevikelse vi upplevde var när vi bad receptionisten ringa efter en taxi som […] skulle köra oss kl 2 på natten. Istället för en riktig taxi kom en vanlig bil (typ hans kompis) som körde oss. Mehr

Et knøttlite og hyggelig hotell. Svært hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Rommene hadde ikke friskluftsanlegg så det kan sikkert bli varmt i sommerhalvåret. Stille og rolig nabolag. Kan anbefales

chambre triple en sous-sol, rénovée récemment mais minuscule et une seule petite aération donnant sur les cuisines d'un restaurant!! Salle de bains dans le couloir en travaux pendant notre passage!!!

Centralt i London, perfekt läge för bra pris. Frukosten var inte kungligast men man blev mätt på morgonen iaf och det fanns ändå lite att välja på. Litet hotell men bara några rum. Rummen var helt ok storlek och skönt med dusch och toa på rummet. Jättetrevlig personal och sköna sängar. I det rummet vi bodde i vart vi inte alls störda av några ljud. Nära […] till tunnelbana, nära till billigt parkeringshus om man har med sig bil, cykeluthyrning utanför dörren och gångavstånd till det mesta. Rekommenderas för de som vill bo billigt men ändå bra (ni måste förstå att för dessa priser får man inte Hilton standard) i centrala London. Mehr

Litet hotell med i relativt lugna omgivningar. Granne med shoppingcenter och trevliga pubar. Mycket små rum men väldigt sköna sängar!

部屋が凄く狭いです！ベッドとシャワー兼トイレルームの他はほぼ足の踏み場が無いに等しいです。・・・が、清潔ではあります。ロケーションはユーストン駅、ユーストンスクエア駅共に徒歩で５分程度。周辺にはパブを始めとした飲食店が結構有り、大変便利です。が、しかしそれ故に１Ｆ部屋だったからか、飲み終わった人々の帰り際の喧騒が少々気になります。インクルードの朝食は正統イングリッシュブレックファーストで食堂に入室してから焼いてくれる料理は美味でした。

L'accueil très sympathique et le personnel très à l'écoute mais le confort de la chambre pour 3 personnes (située dans le sous-sol, donc sans fenêtre) n'est pas à la hauteur à cause de la salle de bains située à l'extérieur de la chambre, du bruit provenant du restaurant voisin de l'hôtel et surtout du manque de lumière du jour. Det sammanlagda omdömet är magnifikt. Med rum mot gatan med småstadskaraktär och den gröna lilla parken mådde vi strålande. Nära till buss och flera t-banestationer, bra standard (saknade takfläkt eller AC), mkt bra frukost, kanontrevlig personal.
