Zunächst wirkt das Hotel einladend und ansprechend, jedoch auch sehr leer und verlassen. Auch im Zimmer auf den 1. Blick freundlich, jedoch war das Bett nicht frisch bezogen, voller Haare und Flecken und auch die Dusche funktionierte nicht. Erst nach 2maliger Aufforderung wurde das Bett mehr wiederwillig neu bezogen, schade, die Dusche war mir am Ende […] egal. Ich hatte nicht den Eindruck das interesse am Kunden besteht, keine Entschuldigung. Bei dem Zimmerpreis habe ich mehr erwartet. Mehr

I was very impressed with this resort. I was in the DR on business and only for one night but I would have liked to spend the weekend. My room was very nice. I had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were an excellent value (unlike some other resorts) and the food was very good. Catholic Church inside the community. Most of resort is long term owners but cozy and clean. Would be great for families. Lots of great toys like water slides and trampolines. Small enough you wouldn't have to keep too keen an eye on kids

I cannot think of anything I would have changed. The people were phenominal. This place is Awesome! The staff could not have been better. Food was reasonable, and excellent. Accomodations were superb!

Nice beach and staff, clean fun. Do Not Drink the tap water. Mosquitos were hungry. Great value for the money compared to other places. I was there on a Monday so it was quiet and clean. Nice waterpark. Missed breakfast. Food at dinner was nice.

Our stay was great and I hope to stay again the next time we travel that way. We only had one night in town and it was nice to find a resort that would let us book a room for a short stay. Less than twenty people at the resort. More staff than customers. Couldn't get a cup of coffee of I tried. Staff wasn't interested in keeping customers happy at all. Stale food Tried to serve water which had already been open. Other than that it's a beautifull property. Will not ever return.

Nice hotel, good facilities, but restaurant needs lots of help - over 1 hour for a hamburger (which was great when it finally arrived). Not separate incident, several lengthy waits for food. Overall facilities make up for restaurant, and the food was good, if slow.

We only stayed a few days here, but I must say it was wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, the grounds, the pool, the water park, everything was immaculate. Our room was very nice, big flat screen tv on the wall, big comfortable king size bed, very nice bathroom. I am not sure when this hotel/villas were built but it didn't look very old at all, […] very up to date. The food at the restaurant was excellent, loved the dominican breakfast, brick oven pizzeria. The beach was nice, it had alot of rocks, so I walked about a quarter mile down and found a sandy beach, it was great to me because it was secluded and there were not alot of people, very quiet and peaceful, good for relaxing. This is definitely a family friendly place, alot of things for the kids to do and play. I met the General Manager and he was very nice, I enjoyed talking with him. I think he does an outstanding job, and I like that he cares what the people think of the place, he wants people to enjoy themselves and have a good experience and come back. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Mehr

We aren't sure whether we just hit a really quiet weekend but it seemed like there was only about 8 groups in this beautiful, well kept, tranquil hotel/ condo complex. The staff were all incredibly attentive (we were definitely outnumbered). However, I was removed from the water park because I was, in the security guards opinion "inappropriately dressed". […] The clothing in question was board shorts, I got kicked out for not being naked enough! So women beware, if you are of the mind to NOT be picking a wedgie out of your butt every ride, avoid the water park. (bloody great fun while it lasted though). Overall, a lovely place to stay if you are looking for quiet empty beaches, reasonably bi-lingual staff and very good drinks at a good price, give it a go. We will definitely be back, presumably with a tiny bikini. Mehr

Enjoyed my two night stay at the resort. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. The grounds were meticulously maintained. They had a very nice pool complete with a huge waterpark slide for the kids. Likewise, the beach area had huge inflatable "jolly-jump"(trampoline/slide etc...) for the kids. Overall, we made the most of our time there. […] We drove to the various attractions the area had to offer. We didn't stay very long at the hotel during the day. WI Fi was pretty much nonexistent. At time it barely work, most of the time it was not worth the effort and our room was right next to an access point. All the restaurants seemed to be out of of many things on their menu the whole 6 days we were there. One day chicken was the only thing they had. The bed was way too soft for me. Rooms in condo style units. Large very nice pool with water-park slide section. Very nice beach area. Two very good restourants on the property. I'd get a shuttle unless you really know your way around. I was not easy to find, but worth it.

In a recent trip to Dominican Republic my family and I had the great pleasure of staying at this location. We all enjoyed on stayed for many reasons 1. We felt safe, the area was patrolled by security, and had a gate house that would limit any non registered guests or visitors in the location. 2. Clean.. Every area were visited it be the Water Park, […] the Room, the customer service desk, the restaurant, and bathrooms, the pool. and well maintained and kept. 3. We loved the room, luxury is the details from the linens, to the bath towels to the 42" Plasma it reminded me of being at home. 4. We received great service anything we requested was always handled quickly and with a smile. 5. The water park was a huge hit with the kids they didn't want to leave. 6. There were a few small shops like a doctors office, spa, coffee shop, gallery, and etc. We had originally booked this location for 2 nights but extended our stay to 5 nights would have done 7 but they were full after the 5 nights. So what is the bad? Well it is a little ways away from any major shops and while there is a few small shops in the resort it is not the same. We ended leaving the resort quiet a few times and visiting some of the local restaurants and shops about 7km away. The worst? This place will become a big hit soon and be fully packed and prices will be going up. So make your visit before that happens :-) Mehr

We had a lovely stay at Cadaques Caribe. There were many things for children to do in a safe and charming environment -- a water park, beach, games room, etc. There were also many kids at the hotel, so they could play football, volleyball, and other sports on the beach and the hotel grounds. At the beach there were inflatable slides, rafts and a trampoline. […] In the evenings, they have entertainment, including a big movie screen where tasteful music videos are played. The food was excellent -- from pizza and hamburgers to fish and pastas -- everything we ate was delicious. Additionally, the staff were all friendly and helpful. It was a holiday without hassles. This resort's beach is actually in Playa Dominicis not Playa Bayahibe. We stayed there in the 3rd week of March and practically had the resort to ourselves. We were in a Queen room #108 with 1 bed. The bed was actually a King though and very comfortable. In addition to the A/C the room was equipped with a ceiling fan. The shower was awkward because […] the nozzle was a hand held nozzle and sprayed at the back wall. The staff was courteous, helpful and a few of them spoke English. There a computer in the lobule to access the internet. Cadeques is actually an ownership property (timeshare and condos) except for the one building that is rented as a hotel. This building is furthest from the beach on the property. It's not too far of a walk because you get to admire the beautiful pool along the way. There is a small water park, including slides, at the resort that is open from 2-5p during the week and slightly longer on the weekend. One of the unique fun things about the resort were the large inflated water toys designed for adults. It reminded us of some of the challenges on the TV show "wipeout." If you plan to Scuba Dive, you will need to travel to Bayahibe which is about a 7-10 minutes drive. Casa Daniel was a great dive shop and has friendly dive instructors. Mehr

I had a trip to Santo Domingo for business and brought my wife along, we decided to look for a nice beach resort to spend a few days and we ran across Cadeques on Hotels.com, the pictures look great, the price was great but the reviews were mixed, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was great! we got a room close to the water, the room was big with […] a kitchenette, refrigerator, complimentary water etc... the beach was incredible, I have traveled all over the Caribbean and abroad, and with the exception of Bora Bora, this was the most beautiful place I've seen. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and well priced as well as the drinks, they have a waterpark at the hotel, which was open and fully functional and a lot of fun. Not a busy beach, very serene, if your looking for a party resort this is NOT it, very quiet. Most of the place is condos, so there is not a lot of people and few hotel rooms. There was hot water, however the AC wasn't working great but it wasn't terrible. all in all, we had an amazing time, and would recommend it to anyone. We can't wait to go back! Mehr

Hotel has a nice beach and is in excellent condition. Rooms were great and well appointed. Beds comfortable. Staff helpful. 2 restaurants on site and they were good and had surprisingly reasonable prices (not as cheap as going into town of Bayahibe, but they were no more than the cost of a comparable meal in the U.S.). Also had small market with some […] groceries and snacks that stayed open til 10 pm and was very reasonably priced (about the same as US prices for things like cokes and bottled water). The hotel is literally "at the end of the road" coming down the peninsula from Bayahibe. If you wanted to go anywhere in the area, I think a taxi or rental car would be the only practical way (we had a rental car), or you can book day trips through the hotel to places like Isla Soana. If you are just wanting a laid back beach vacation, you could have a very nice trip just going from the airport by taxi (about 15 miles away) and returning by taxi, and staying the remainder of your time on property. Only slight negative experience we had was that when we checked in the first night, we had no towels, soap or pillowcases in the room. Found a maid at about 10 pm who brought towels and soap. We didn't notice there weren't pillowcases until we went to bed around 11:30 and by then there was no one from housekeeping around so we had to make "makeshift pillowcases" by wrapping our pillows in t-shirts (LOL). I think it was just an honest mistake though, and I wouldn't hold that against them to much. Other than that, everything was perfect. Mehr

Spacious room. Comfortable beds. Sliding glass door to porch difficult to secure. Facility very amenable to families. There is a large rambling pool and water slide and multiple large inflatable water toys in a protected area of the water. Only concern from a safety standpoint is that the pool runs through the center of the complex and is not enclosed […] by a fence so need to be careful with toddlers. Not an all inclusive which was a plus in my book. Borders a national park and beyond the southern end of the resort beach is miles of undeveloped beach which was spectacular. Mehr

It's my understanding that this is a condo complex just opening units for hotel stay. Hence, the hotel is VERY quiet. The staff is not hotel ready. They are pleasant, but I'm not sure they know their roles. The staff had us waiting at check-in although I was the only one at the counter. There was no warm welcome or really much communication at all. […] They sent us to a room with one double bed eventhough we were clearly a party of four. The bellboy switched our room for us. The room, although nice, smelled moldy or stale. This could have been due to its lack of use as the room was clean. The balcony opened up to the staff driveway which was not hidden by bushes or fencing. During our stay, there was only one restaurant open at the facility and the food was marginal. Upside: the water was beautiful. They had great blow-up toys for the kids - a trampoline, slide, jungle gym and other things in the swim area for kids - great fun!! They also placed these large cement obstacles in the water behind the swim area which makes for great snorkeling around. Mehr

The hotel is nice , rooms clean, pol is very nice but there are many other issue to look at: 1- if you are expedia customer you have nothing whatsoeverm even when the kids use the play ground in the pool area you have to pay extra for it, the beakfast is not included which is very expensive to purchace. 2- the resort far from any town, taxis transportation […] is expensive to get away. 3- the hotel is for eldery people comfort, it is the most boring resort I ever went too, there is nothing to do what so ever!!! 4- beach had rock and not that clean. 5-Resturant is too expensive. 6- for me and the kids it was not a good option at all, boring and so dull! The resort looks good but except the pool and a small beach with a restaurant the only place you therê is not much to do there. It appears to be expensive for what it is if you add up food and drinks. The Resort is approx. 6 miles away from a small tourist place called Dominicus but except to buy sun cream there is not much to do there. Bahayibe is […] the best place to spend 1 or 2 days as it kept its typical architecture and lifestyle. Mehr

This hotel is a poorly visited condominium complex that also rents out rooms. Breakfast service was very poor, very slow, food cold by the time it finally came. There are loudspeakers all around the property that play music for the employees, it seems. No peace and quiet at the beach. We cancelled another reservation right away.

I wasn't satisfied with the hotel. The room wasn't to my liking and wasn't the room I paid for based on the pictures provided on your website- I paid for a suite and the hotel claimed not to have suites available and ended up giving me a standard room (very basic). I truly feel cheated. The first night we had to ask to be moved to another room because […] a party in the room next to ours, would not let us sleep. This is an exquisite setting and is really relaxed and quiet. there is a water slide for children and so the kids tend to be at the oposite end of the resort from the beach so you can ally relax with no interuptions. the swimming is gat from the jetty and the view is amazing. true carribean blue water. if you want nightlife you will have to travel a […] few miles as this is a very small resort and is a bit of a way from the main town. I loved it but if you want bright lights and loud music forget it. The staff were great and very helpful and even gave tasters of the cocktails to my companion and myself. this helped no end with the atmosphere. Mehr

A mini water park on premises. Entrance to water from the beach is poor, lost of coral rock, but they have a boardwalk to a large gazeebo with a sandy bottom and chest deep water.

There might be other hotels with a better piece of the Dominicus beach, but Cadaques has a bunch of cool toys to play with when you are in the water. And their mini waterpark is very nice. The restaurant was so-so. Going again for sure.

Only one comentary. The Pool park faciliteis should be available for all holtel guest whithout extra payment. The charges to use the Aquatic Park are not properly especifies when you make the reservation. The advertaising should especie that Park is extra charge.

This is an awesome hotel for kids. It has an amazing water park for kids of all ages, but mostly above 5yrs. You also have the beach, and other activities. The only downside to this resort is it's "remote" location from any convenience stores.
