This is a very cosy and affordable place to stay right in the centre of the new town. It is close to shops and good pubs. Would stay there again for sure. Joanna the manager is also very friendly and helpful.

I severely enjoyed my stay at Edinburgh Central Guest House. Due to some poor planning, I had to arrive earlier in the day and had a pleasant communication prior to arrival - great sign. When I arrived, I was greeted with friendlyness. The room was quaint, beautifully decorated and a comfortable bed. It had a shared bathroom, which was very nice and […] accessible (didn't have to wait to use at all). The area is wonderful. I'm a bit biased, because I'm a vegetarian and super appreciated being down the road from Henderson's restaurant but walking to the castle & the city centre was also very easy. I suggest you utilize a map of the city (offered at the guesthouse) though, as the streets can get a bit confusing without one. Breakfast is included in your stay, but I cannot comment as only stayed one night and missed it, preferring to sleep off my jetlag. All in all, a great stay. I highly recommend. Mehr

This is a great little hotel for the travel hopper or a couple. Although you do share a bathroom, the place is on a quiet street centrally located in New Town. It's ideal for seeing the main sights of Edinburgh and in a nice shopping area of town. The service was great and the accommodations very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a very pleasant surprise. Great location, friendly and clean. Only down side was shared bathroom but there was no queue in the morning and it was tidy and clean. Breakfast at Ricks was nice too as they do not serve breakfast, they offer a choice of 2 places to have breakfast instead. Great choice! Would recommend it!

Myself and my Girlfriend stayed in the guest house for 2 nights in April. The location of the accommodation was easy to find and very central to all activities within the city centre. Even for hikes up Calton Hill and Arthurs Seat, along with the Castle being a matter of minutes walk away. The owners of the accommodation were very helpful and friendly. […] And the breakfast at Ricks Restaurant was great. A definate reccommendation at a reasonable price for Edinburghs City Centre. Luulin varaavani hotellin, mutta olikin B&B. Huoneessa vähän ummehtunut ilma, johtuen kokolattiamatosta. Sänky oli hyvä. Lämmitystä oli vain öisin, vaikka ulkona oli kylmä. Kylpyhuoneessa vessanpönttö melkein irti. Ranskalainen emäntämme oli erikoisella tavalla hauska tyyppi. Aamiaisella oli hyvin tarkkaa, mitä sai itse ottaa. La mujer que nos atendio fue maravillosa, ya que llegamos fuera de horario pero no puso ningun problema. La habitacion muy confortable y el desayuno estupendo.

Helt OK om man kan dela bad och toa och äta frukost ett kvarter bort. Mycket vänlig och tillmötesgående värdinna. Underbar säng och inga ljud som störde nattsömnen.

Très bien, très accueillant. Ma chambre n'était pas cher pour Edinburgh, mais j'avais la salle de bain sur le palier. Très propre, et je ne l'ai jamais vue occupée. Le quartier est parfait. A deux pas du centre historique, et plus sympathique.

料金の割には、各設備整っており、綺麗で良かった。 施設がかなり大きいので、到着してからチェックインするまでに若干迷うこととなった。 場所は中心部まで歩いて20分ほど。 個人的にはwifiを使えないのが痛かった。

This hotel/guest house has is perfectly located close to Princes street and all historical attractions. Bus from the airport (Airlink) stops in Princes Street....5 - 10 min. walk to hotel. Hotel looks nice, very nice atmosphere, nice and friendly personel (only in the guest house from 8 a.m to 8 p.m.) Room (nr.14) was nice, the included bath room was […] OK, but the shower was not more than a small closet. The walls are not that thick, so you can hear the people in the neigbouring rooms, most annoying was the sound of the bathtub filling up (next door!). Free WiFi was not that strong at the 2nd floor (in the rooms).....at the hall is was OK. Breakfast not in hotel, but in a closeby (100m) cafetaria or anorther cafetaria/hotel (100m aswell). This was no problem, even kind of nice..... Summary: Great hotel....fair price...super location. Mehr

The receptionist was very helpful, the location is great, the en-suite room good and warm. The only minus was the small shower corner.

The location is not so bad but my small room faces north and dark.TV does't work perfectly.Some nosies of the doors and the alley.I had to go out to a local cafe for breakfast and if it is a rainy or freezing morning,this will be very incovenient.The staff is fine.I would recommend you to book a room with a private bathroom,not a shared one.

Pieni ja viihtyisä. Mukava ja joustava omistaja. Melua esiintyy jonkin verran yön aikana, mutta se on normaali hinta ihan keskustassa asumisesta. Hyvä hinta/laatu suhde ja paras mahdollinen sijainti.

Ligger väldigt centralt i New Town, men ändå väldigt lugnt. Tråkig utsikt, men nära till Princes Street med all shopping. Ingen egen frukost, men samarbete med två trevliga restauranger i närheten, båda med stort urval av frukostar (ej buffé). Sköna sängar. Vattenkokare och snabbkaffe/te. Brittisk standard på bad och el, dvs ganska sunkigt.

Meget behagelig, venlig og hjælpsom personale. Rigtig god beliggenhed i gåafstand fra alt det spændende i Edinburgh. Rigtig god morgenmadsaftale med med 2 hoteller tæt ved. Guesthouset er beliggende i en ældre bygning, men er pænt og vedligeholdt og meget rent.

Ett väldigt bra läge har detta B&B. Kan varmt rekommendera det. Frukosten serveras dock inte här utan man får välja mellan två väldigt närliggande ställen. Sängarna som vi hade var bekväma och rummet helt Ok storleksmässigt (vi valde ett med toalett på rummet). Bo här om ni ska till Edinburgh !
