Ein schönes, fast neues Hotel im wunderschönen Alexandria, südlich von Washington. Sehr ansprechendes und modernes Innendesign, viel Platz in den Suiten mit genütlicher Sitzecke und Schreibtisch. Schöne Lobby, gutes Continental Breakfast gratis. Ca 5 Autominuten zur wunderhübschen Altstadt von Alexandria, Hotelbus zur U Bahn Station - mit der U Bahn […] ca 25 Minuten bis Zentrum Washington. Einziges kleines Minus: Auf einer Seite des Hotels verläuft der Highway, auf der anderen ist eine 4 spurige Strasse + U Bahn Depot. Ab 6:00 morgens wird es etwas lauter. Mehr

My husband and son really liked the room. It was very retro. I thought it was just ok. The toilet room and shower room were separate and had sliding doors with a see thru cloudy glass and no locks. Because we were family, it wasn't too much of problem, but for the two bus loads full of students staying in the hotel, I can see where that may have been […] an issue. I liked that our room had a separate seating area, desk for a computer, a refrigerator and microwave. However, the hotel did not have a restuarant or bar or swimming pool and nothing in a reasonable walking distance to do. The hotel did offer a fitness room, which I did not use. I liked that the hotel offered free shuttle to the Metro station and was pretty quick once you told the staff you needed the shuttle. The front desk staff were helpful, but not very friendly. They did their job great and seemed knowledgable except none of them smiled, except once in the three days we were there. The breakfast buffet was the high light of the hotel. It had eggs, some kind of meat each day, waffles and the usual breads, fruit, coffee, juice, milk, yogurt and all the toppings you could expect to put on these items. The area for breakfast and lobby was very nice, plenty of places to sit and the decor was sophisticated and contemporary. The hotel was clean and modern, which I liked. Mehr

I read the reviews here on this hotel before booking the room and found them to be very accurate. We enjoyed the simple, stylish, modern decor which has a very European feel. Everything was very clean and convenient. We also appreciated the free and plentiful parking and delicious included breakfast (even the orange juice was chlled to perfection). […] We had a room with a king size bed and pull-out sofa. My 20-year-old daughter slept on the pull-out sofa and said it was comfortable. Only minor complaint was that as others have mentioned, the sliding bathroom door had no latch and had a tendency to slide back open a couple of inches if not closed very slowly and carefully. We will stay at this hotel again when we are in the DC area and highly recommend it to others! Mehr

One of the best hotels in the area. Chic, modern and well managed.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, very new, large rooms and very quiet!! Staff was excellent, within walking distance to the Metro or they also offer complimentary shuttle service. The city of Alexandria is so quaint, yet so modern. Loved it!!

Well maintained but can have long breakfast lines!

Bathroom smelled like sewage, didn't like pocket doors and that bathroom was split in 2 rooms, was harrassed by a guest for making waffles at the breakfast station and the general manager refused to help me. Won't go back!

Lovely stay. Nice staff, excellent amenities. We got a good price, maybe because it was mid-January and almost empty. Easy walk to the Metro, free parking (in the garage, if it's not full, otherwise the lot) and free breakfast. Rode the Metro downtown to see the sights.

We absolutley love this hotel we stay at least 3times a month just to get away.

Loved the modern hotel, loved the location, as it was ideal for our needs to visit family in Maryland, Arlington & Springfield. The mattress was excellent! We slept better than at home. The breakfast buffet had great scrambled eggs and sausage plus whole wheat homemade waffles. This was a total 5 for us and we will be making this our hotel of choice […] when visiting family. Mehr

Very modern, clean and up-to-date furnishings. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast, not so good though. Overall a very pleasant stay

Absolutely no complaint, staff was very friendly hotel was very modern clean and spacious. The fitness room was very nice as well. We really enjoyed our visit just wish it had of been longer so much to see. Our next trip to Washington D.C. we have to look no further this is where we will stay.

Hotel was modern, clean, and the room was. Ery spacious. Various shades of green and.ue reminded me of the ocean. Had a large couch and desk in the room as well. More than enough room. Linens were clean and comfortable. Toilet and sink was separate from the shower which made it nice for two people staying in the room. We booked the hotel to visit Washington DC..the location of the hotel was located in Alexandria VA which made it easy for us to get to and from Washington. Near the historic area of Alexandria VA which was beatiful. Good safe area with many choices to pick for dinner. The hotel and our room was very clean. The room accomodated 2adults and 3 kids comfortably. […] The breakfast given every morning was very good. The hotel has good parking with no additional charge. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Will be staying with them again. Highly recommend the hotel. Mehr

Close to DCA and better priced then other hotels closer to the airport. The hotel is modern and nicely decorated. Room is comfy. Staff was super nice. Hot breakfast was good. For the cost I got free parking, internet, and breakfast which was a much better value than other Hotels near DCA. Great experience!

I recently stayed at this hotel for about 4 days. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are helpful and were able to fulfill my many varied requests. The hotel is right down the street of the Eisenhower Metro station and the shuttle runs there frequently. Next time I am down in DC, I will definitely be staying in this hotel again.

This is a very small and quaint facility. If you are looking for a large hotel with a variety of amenities then this is not for you. It has no restaurant or bistro but breakfast is complimentary each morning. It's very clean and the design of the room is aesthetically appealing. It quite modern, built about 7 months ago with plenty of free parking. […] If you want to make an impression, its the place for you! The environment is cozy by virtue of it's size. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will come back any day. Mehr

Free wifi, parking & breakfast made this hotel an easy choice for us. About 1 1/2 miles from Old Town where our kids just moved. Worth it.

Hurricane Irene visited the same time we did. The hotel kept us updated on the weather situation. They took steps to ensure our safety as well as the safety of our vehicle. I was very imnpressed. I really liked the room too!

Both times I stayed at the hotel were pleasant ones to remember. The host at the desks were friendly and were always ready to help. She made sure i was comfortable. The hotel it self was lovely very clean, the color scheme was soft not dark and morbid. The rooms were excellent for the price and I wil tell others who visit to visit springhill at the […] tech center. Thanks so much calvin Mehr

We enjoyed the amenities of having a breakfast, daily newspapers and workout facility. Staff was very attentive.

We'll not be staying here again: - Front desk never delivered bath towels they promised. - 47 minute wait for a 0.8 mile shuttle ride ("He's five minutes out.") - Trails of crumbs from the breakfast buffet not cleaned during our stay. - Two queen bed room VERY cramped. - Very poor soundproofing. - Half a lock missing from our door. Very safe location with an available shuttle to Kings St. Metro. The modern style room, very comfortable bed, nice gym, decent breakfast, and very helpful staff. Very nice hotel with a parking garage and it's free with your overnight stay unlike DC hotels.

Bon c'est vrai cet hôtel ne se trouve pas dans le centre de Washington mais le métro est tout proche. Pour celles et ceux qui ont une voiture, il y a un grand parking et l'autoroute n'est pas loin. Idéal pour aller à l'aéroport ou pour continuer sa route vers une autre destination américaine. L'hotel est très récent. Les chambres sont très bien aménagées […] et équipées.
