"Bahnhof Termini liegt quasi um die Ecke"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 25. Feb. 2013Auch wenn mein Aufenthalt nur eine Nacht dauerte (EuroLeague-Fußballspiel), war ich sehr zufrieden. Kleines, aber recht ruhiges & sauberes Einzelzimmer. Auch das Hotel an sich liegt in einer eher ruhigen Seitenstraße, obwohl die viel befahrene Via Cavour gerade mal 20m entfernt ist. Da ich mit der Bahn anreiste, war mir die kurze Entfernung (ca. 10 Fußminuten) zum Hauptbahnhof Termini sehr wichtig. Mit dem Frühstück in einem etwas kleinen Raum (3 oder 4 Tische) bei gemütlichem Ambiente war ich ebenfalls zufrieden. Müsli, Joghurt, Ei, Schinken, Marmelade, Honig, Brötchen, Crossants ... dazu Saft & Cappuccino/Kaffee - reichhaltiger geht es für ein 2-Sterne-Hotel mit günstigem Preis wohl kaum noch. Das freundliche, junge Personal an der Rezeption (die Tag & Nacht besetzt ist, so dass man seinen Schlüssel abgeben kann) trug schließlich zu meinem guten Gesamteindruck bei. Der einzige Negativpunkt ist das nicht richtig schließbare Fenster (ließ sich bei Druck leicht öffnen), dafür konnte ich jedoch die Jealousiene außen zumachen und innen die Vorhänge zu ziehen.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 25. Feb. 2013Ich war nur kurz hier zu Gast, was aber schon ausreichte, um die viel gepriesene Hilfsbereitschaft und Serviceorientierung zu erleben und spüren. Ich konnte bereits um 10 Uhr Einchecken, etwas arbeiten (WLAN zuverlässig), bevor ich zu meiner Abendveranstaltung ging. Am nächsten Morgen musste ich bereits 6 Uhr das Haus verlassen. Problemlos und Frühstück zum Selbernehmen (und EInpacken) gab es auch. "Feel at home!" hieß es am Ende des Herumführens beim Einchecken. Das war auch in der Tat der Fall!

Als ich die Bilder von den vielen schönen Zimmern und den Preis gesehen habe, war ich erst skeptisch, da es zu schön schien, um wahr zu sein. Die Vermieter haben uns dann am Tag der Anreise gleich angeschrieben und uns beim Finden der Pension und der Anreise Tips gegeben. Sie haben uns dann sogar einen Treffpunkt genannt und uns abgeholt. Als wir einmal ein Problem mit dem Schlüssel hatten, haben Sie uns auch sofort geholfen und waren innerhalb von zehn Minuten da. Die Wohnung ist ziemlich weit oben, man muss also einige Treppen hoch, dafür hat man von der schönen Terrasse einen super Blick! Der Rest des Apartments ist auch toll, Fernseher, Sofa, zwei Schlafzimmer mit Küche, in der man sich auch bedienen kann (Geschirr, Töpfe, Salz, Kaffee, Nudeln und Pesto). Das Bad ist ganz frisch renoviert und supersauber. Und man ist mitten in der Stadt! 5-10 Minuten zum Piazza Novana, 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Colosseum und dem Forum Romanum, 10 Minuten zum Trevi-Brunnen. Alles in allem ein Glücksgriff!

Im Herzen des historischen Zentrums befindet sich Roms bekanntester Platz, die Piazza Navona. Wie auf einer riesigen Bühne spielt sich hier auf der von Brunnenwasser bespritzten Piazza zwischen den Cafétischen das römische Alltagsleben ab. Der von Bernini erschaffene Brunnen Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, ein fantastisches barockes Stück Architektur, ist der bekannteste der drei Brunnen. Nicht weit davon entfernt befindet sich das Pantheon, eines der wichtigsten Wahrzeichen Roms und ein Wunder der antiken Architektur.

"hotel was great minus the bait and switch scam"
When we arrived at the hotel at 1 p.m. we were informed that the hotel was overbooked and they would have to move us to a sister hotel in another location. Being familiar with this scam, I insisted that we would not be moving to a different hotel. The desk clerk argued with us for several minutes then placed a call. Miraculously they found us a room […] that was available AND ready for check-in! While the room was in very good condition and the location was extremely central without being noisy from thousands of tourists; the free wifi had a terrible connection and I would NOT recommend this hotel based on the scam they pull. what a pleasant surprise! Ideally located a short walk to the Vatican on one side and the Forum/Colusseum on the other. The room was small, but honestly all we look for when we travel is a good bed with white sheets and a hot shower. This hotel exceeded in both! "Great location, minutes from multiple sites"
Hotel is pretty well centrally located to a lot of sites. It took me 20 minutes to walk to the Vatican and 15 minutes to the pantheon. The colossium is a little further away but not out of walking range for an active person. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel and the consierge made a couple of great recommendations for me. The only two […] things I did not like about the hotel were the first room they assigned me at checkin clearly had not been cleaned from previous use, but they quickly fixed the situation. The other thing was that I couldn't watch single tv channel without paying for it. They didn't have the basic 10 channels where at least one is in English. Channels were packaged together for purchase. The Internet connection was great there and I was able to download movies from iTunes faster than at any other hotel in Italy that I stayed at. Most of the staff was abrupt and difficult. The day after we checked in the woman at the desk TOLD my daughter to quickly move out of their room because the man who checked us in made a mistake with the room type. Anyone traveling in europe knows it is hard to find inexpensive accommodations for four, the Rinascimento fits the bill in Rome. Our room was small but very comfortable. The hotel was modern in decor and the rooms were nice although quite small but I think that is the norm in Rome. Cleanliness was fine and towels we used were changed every day. "Wonderful family vacation"
We are a family of 4 and were concerned about all fitting in one room but the quadroom was perfect. The room was modern and up to date. We had a window view towards the charming cobble stone street. This is one of 4 boutique hotels in Rome that belong to the same chain. The breakfast was excellent. The location was within walking distance of most of Rome's attractions or a short taxi ride from the others. The staff were very helpful in suggesting restaurants nearby which we enjoyed as the food and service was excellent and moderately priced. The hotel's location and staff are excellent. We had no trouble getting a table for breakfast at any time and the selection of food was good. We were able to arrange a tea tray from the kitchen in the evening when I came down with a cold in Rome. Visiting Rome in April means none of the hotels can run their A/C by law. In this case it meant no fan […] without heat. As the room was already a bit stuffy we opened the windows which tended to let in wafting cigarette smoke from neighboring balconies. The room itself was otherwise immaculate and newly furnished, albeit clouded in a very strong room fragrance/perfume which I found oppressive. The attendant asked the cleaning staff not to spray the room with cologne on subsequent days but the fragrance never really subsided. It seemed to be embedded in the furnishings. The bed itself was very comfortable. Hallway noise was a bit bothersome, but the compact nature of the hotel probably makes it difficult to insulate. I won't complain about the room size as I assume hotel rooms are typically small in Rome. I did feel that our room was smaller than pictured online, and a bit cramped overall. The hotel is located very close to Campo dei Fiori. There are excellent restaurants steps away and most major sights are walkable from the hotel. In retrospect, however,I felt we could have found more comfortable accommodation had we booked earlier, rented an apartment, or ventured further from the city center. The desk staff was unfailingly courteous and helpful. They assisted with restaurant reservations, taxis and the printing of boarding passes. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Emplacement a proximité des principaux monuments"
Une situation qui permet d'accéder en moins de 15 mn à pied de plusieurs des principaux monuments de Rome ( Vatican,monument de Vittorio Emmanuel, Colisée , Piazza Navona... ) sinon des taxis tout de suite en sortant ds la rue principale qui vous amènent un peu plus loin ( villa Médicis,Borghese...) pour environ 10€ ; personnel de l'hotel sympathique […] ne parlant pas francais mais anglais ; petit dej correct sans plus ; un gros bémol : chambre et salle de bains spacieuses pour famille de 4 mais surchauffées ( obliges d'ouvrir quasi en permanence la fenêtre pour ne pas étouffer car impossible de mettre la clim pour compenser en rentrant le soir quand la femme de ménage avait mis le chauffage à fonds le matin) MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Vi är en familj på två vuxna och två barn på 11 och 14 år. Vi trivdes mycket bra på hotell Rinascimento och skulle gärna bo där igen. Rummet var rent och fint och utrustat med safetybox. Frukosten serverades i ett mycket litet rum men var bra för att vara sydeuropeisk. Personalen var vänliga och hjälpte gärna till med tips och information om man frågade. […] Läget var det allra bästa. Vi hade gångavstånd till både Colloseum, Vatikanen och Spanska trappan. Välj detta hotell för dess läge - perfekt nära Piazza di Fiori med gångavstånd till allt. Vi hade ett tre bäddsrum, vilket är ganska svårt att finna i Rom. Vi fick fint plats, badrummet dock lite litet, men fungerade ändå ok. Frukosten är mer än den vanliga kontinentala med ingen variation mellan dagarna. Wifi finns gratis på hotellet. "Pas à la hauteur mais bonne situation"
La salle de bain n'est pas nettoyée tous les jours. Les serviettes ne sont pas remplacées au bout de deux jours. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur d'un établissement réclamant un tel prix. Værelse var annonceret med aircondition, wifi på værelse samt sefety box. Aircondition fandtes ikke. Til gengæld udstyret med varmesystem. Ingen køling. Der var ingen wifi på værelset. "Fräscht hotell i mysiga kvarter!"
Litet hotell med bra läge, rymliga rum, helt nyrenoverat så det var fräscht! Enda att klaga på var en trist utsikt mot en vägg och frukosten som var liten både till salen och till utbudet. Hotellin sijainti loistava. Nähtävyyksille pääsee hyvin kävellen. Huoneemme oli hyvin varusteltu tilava sekä erittäin siisti.Kyplytilat olivat napakympit. Aamiainen oli maukas ja monipuolinen. Henkilökunta oli asiallinen ja avulias. Ainoa miinus on myöhäinen sisäänkirjautuminen klo 14 sekä aikainen uloskirjautuminen klo 10. Myöhäisempi uloskirjautuminen […] onnistui lisämaksusta ja takasi viimeisestä lomapäivästä onnistuneen. Tänne voin tulla uudelleen. "Rinascimento i Rom - rent & bra läge"
Enkelt hotell, med fräsch inredning (nyrenoverat 2010), mycket välstädat och rent. Dock minus för brist på ekotänk, med nya klorblekta handdukar & badlakan varje dag. Hårda madrasser, men värre har vi upplevt. Vi fick ett mkt litet rum på översta våningen (4), som var mer som ett enkelrum. Lågfrekvent ljud från stor ventilationsfläkt från taket på denna […] våning, litet Finlandsfärja-varning, förmodligen betydligt bättre på andra våningsplan. Men med tanke på hur litet tid man spenderar på hotellet en långhelg var det helt ok på det hela taget. God och rejäl frukostbuffé i trångt frukostrum, med omelett, kallskuret, grönsaker, yoghurt, o gott kaffe. Läget är perfekt för den som gillar Campo de Fiori-området, dvs litet off, men ändå mitt i på något sätt. Ljummet mottagande av personalen, som inte var direkt otrevlig men inte heller speciellt tillmötesgående. Den som pratar italienska får ett väsentligen bättre bemötande med idel leenden och hälsningar. Skulle vi välja detta hotell igen? Tja, kanske, men bara om vi fick en bra deal på nätet.
