Wir haben in unserem Urlaub 19 verschiedene Hotels in der Preisklasse gebucht. Das Best Western hätten wir gern ein zweites Mal besucht - leider war es am Rückflugtag ausgebucht.

Es handelt sich um ein ziemlich neues Hotel in der Nähe des Airports. Es ist auch eigentlich ein sehr gutes Hotel, der Fitnessbereich und Pool ist empfehlenswert,... aber ohne Verbindung zum "Leben" außerhalb des Hotels. Das Gebiet wird gerade baulich erschlossen und man hat noch nicht einmal einen 7 eleven oder Tankstelle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der […] Hotelkiosk reißt es nicht raus! Wenn man den Mietwagen noch nicht in Empfang genommen hat lebt man dort auf einer einsamen Scholle! Für eine Nacht, wie bei uns ok, aber dieser Umstand veranlaßt mich leider es zur Zeit nicht weiter zu empfehlen, auch wenn das Hotel nichts dafür kann. Mehr

Neues sauberes Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Flughafen. Die Stadt Calgary ist über den Highway in etwa 12 Minuten erreichbar. Es kann Fluglärm haben. Landende und startende Flugzeuge fliegen gleich neben dem Hotel vorbei. Ist aber bei geschlossenen Fenster kaum hörbar. Very large and comfy room. Nice bedding. Great free breakfast!

Great place for an overnight stay when flying in or out of Calgary. Very convenient for airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms . Highly recommended.

The hotel was nice, clean and for the most part was a good hotel. I choose this hotel due to the location as we needed close to a school for a sports competition, plus my kids liked the waterslide. The breakfast buffet that was included was the best thing, great variety and staff kept it stocked. The evening restaurant dinner staff however were not […] properly trained and had issues both nights we tried it with regards to food and service. Wasn't happy that I was lectured on how drinks were not allowed in the pool area and was asked to take my water bottle back to my room. Yet on 2 nights there was not proper supervision of the children left there by parents socilaizing in the bar area and stayed longer than I wanted to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all there. Plus the pool and hot tub were both much cooler than listed. There was a constant hum that we heard in our 4th floor room from a generator on the roof which was annoying, and my husband noticed a toenail in the hall carpet that was there the entire time. We would stay here again, but not on the 4th floor and only if it was a good deal. There is a shopping/ restaurant district 10 minutes away that we used several times... subway, swiss chalet, wendy's, canadian tire, liquor store. Mehr

Over all it was a nice hotel. Great Breakfast in the morning!

Little pricey, but very nice. Great breakfast

The FREE breakfast is awesome!!! It was also very close to Crossiron Mills with easy, quick access to Deerfoot

This was a great place to stay. The kids loved the pool which we had all to our self. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. We spent the day at the Zoo and it was nice to come back to the pool and hot tub. The breakfast that was included were okay; there was some language barriers when trying to order the hot portion. Very nice CLEAN hotel. Super close to the airport with great shuttle service. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Was billed as a Hotel that we would be able to park our car at , so we could get a shuttle to airport, upon arrival we were told this would not be the case as all spots were full, no mention of this when we booked online, if so we would have booked elsewhere.

Convenient location a few minutes north of the airport but nothing else around it; for now. A weak restaurant with limited selection. Friendly staff, new and very clean.

The hotel is new, modern, has complimentary breakfast, and 24 hour shuttle service to the airport, which is only 2 to 3 minutes away.

We arrived at the airport at 2am after a 2 hour delay in flights. We called the hotel from the shuttle phone and they picked us up within 10 minutes as promised. 10 minutes later after a pleasant chat with a friendly shuttle driver we were in our room. The room was well laid out with attractive furnishings and a comfortable bed. My wife commented that […] she wished we had more time to stay to enjoy the hotel because we had to be up at 6am to catch our next flights. The staff told us at check-in that breakfast would be ready at 6am. It was; in an attractive breakfast area. Hot eggs, sausauge, waffles, and the typical cereals, breads, yogurt etc. Also as promised at check-in, the morning shuttle to the airport was ready and waiting when we were ready to leave and 10 minutes later we were back at the airport. Staff were friendly and courteous. No complaints at all, and will stay here again next time. Mehr

This was a nice clean hotel. My kids loved the pool and the waterslide. The pool is pretty shallow too which was great for our young kids. The best part of the breakfast is the make yourself waffles. The coffee is terrible. The hotel is located in a kinda strange spot, the only restaurant choice nearby is an italian place, but it is extremely good. […] We would stay there again. Mehr

This is a fairly new hotel with modern furnishings. The bed was comfortable. Very clean. Our room included fridge, microwave, safe. Price included breakfast buffet - fruit salad, fresh fruit, waffles, toast, pastry, cereal, egg, sausage patties, etc. Shuttle to the airport very convenient with very friendly driver. Was able to leave my car in parking […] lot for free until my return. I am impressed enough to have booked it again for a future weekend. Mehr

Have used Best Westerns across the US before but not in Canada, this was a nice hotel, well situated and just right for our one night stay from picking up visitors on a late night flight. Free breakfast was OK, choice of cooked was rather limited but then can't really complain. Staff were attentive, helpful and professional which is always a bonus to […] a stay. Very nice hotel north of the airport off by itself, the staff was very courteous. The breakfast was good an d one day had cook to order omelettes. They just changed to HD and the TV did not reflect what channel you were on or the remote did not sync well with the channels.

This hotel is very convenient to Calgary airport. The staff were pleasant & the room was what would be expected. The hotel bar was understocked, had no draft beer, had run out of things, no wine was chilled, etc. The selection of food was minimal and unappealing so we did without. We stayed here twice,on our way to and from our winter vacation. Beds are super comfy, room amenities very nice. Within 5 minutes of the airport, so great for getting to the hotel in a hurry after that that 2 a.m. arrival .

excellent clean hotel. kind helpful staff. very convenient for air travel.

Stayed here before a flight home to the UK. We had been visiting family in Calgary until quite late that night, so unfortunately didn't get to use the pool. Breakfast was very nice; not a huge range of items, but enough to satisfy. Only (slight) negative was that I couldn't quite figure out the heating/cooling system - I would make sure you know how […] it works before you settle in for the night. Spent the night with 1 year old daughter. Crib was great. Room was quiet. Breakfast was perfect. Couldnt have wanted more.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was very nice and clean. There wasn't much within walking distance. There is a free shuttle from the hotel that shows up very quickly after you call them (there is a phone at the airport to do so). By far the nicest Best Western I have stayed at.

We loved our stay at the Best Western Freeport - so much so, that we returned for a second 'stay' on our recent trip to Canada. It's proximity to the airport, the free shuttle, the friendly staff and the comfort of the room made it a nice 'entry & exit' point to & from Canada! The menu was limited, but good tastie food - and the little bar & staff had […] a friendly atmosphere. In closing, we loved it, and yes, we would stay there again! Mehr

This hotel is brand new (not sure exact inauguration) and so meets all current standards for a 3-star: clean, nice features in room (flat screen, refrigerator, kitchenette (sink + microwave)), comfortable bed, etc. Lobby is welcoming, albeit a bit cold.
