Great condo style unit--Rented a unit for the family and it was very large and a great size for larger families like ours. Place was well stocked with full kitchen which saved a few $$$ on cooking instead of eating out. Nice heated pool as it was a bit cool. They even had a fitness center for a quick workout. Just passing through for one night and I am glad I found this place. FYI, this is not a hotel but a vacation rental setup. The check-in process is taken care of over the phone, but it was very easy and just took a couple minutes. The place is very large with a great resort style pool. Great mountain views surround the area and can be seen from the units. […] I would recommend if you are in the area. Our room was very clean despite a few of the reviews I saw. Mehr

They service was really bad, no person was available a the time of the check in. I have to go to a different hotel for the nite with my 2 year old after call this people 6 time. I found another hotel around 2 o clock in the morning.

would not recommend at all- room was not ready and was given various room options to try after initial room was not prepared and had the same results with next 2 rooms in which rooms with not house cleaned or were still occupied.

We really liked the location..there was a nice shopping center right down the street that had everything we needed..also we were happy about having a garage especially in palm desert and the size of the unit was fantastic. The only things we did not like was there were some bugs (looked like little ants) in the kitchen area and the bathroom..also notice […] some dead ones in the corners..the air took a while to cool down the front room and we were given the wrong type of unit. I requested 2 king size beds and on the email it showed what we requested but when we got there it was a room with 2 twin beds. Mehr

Great location, price, and views. Good location right off freeway and all kinds of food/shopping in the area. I have told all my friends and family about the place and will be certain to frequent myself. I really enjoyed.

This is actually a vacation rental setup in the beautiful Palm Desert--There are some amazing surrounding views and the rooms are large and comfortable--Great Pool, Fitness Center, and poolside BBQ grills---Enjoy the stay!

I was just passing through and stumble accross Sonoran and I'm glad I did. I especially liked the pool, spa/tub, and nearby grills. Please note these are vacation rentals so there is no one onsite if that is what you are looking for. if not, great setup, large, and comfortable.

Great place for the family. Nice view, pools, BBQ and playground. Room is very spacious for our entire family. Patio had room for 6 comfortably. However we were only given 4 washclothes for our family of 6 so I had to buy more. The office is not located on site which means no one in person to complain to or provide help. Whomever cleaned the room to […] a mediocre job. I would stay here again but just would bring some extra cleaning supplies. Mehr

What an amazing property and setting in Palm Desert. Not a hotel so if your looking for that please move along. Condo setup with large units at a great price. Two fantastic pools/spa tub, fitness center. You should stop by if in the area.

My husband and I were doing some travelling through the Palm Desert area and needed a place to stay last minute. We decided to see what was available and stummbled across Sonoran. We are soooo very glad that we did. I have seen some mixed reviews, but like anything it's sometimes better to form your own opinion. I think some people get discouraged that […] this place does not have all the normal hotel amenities, but that's simply because it is not a hotel. The room was large and very comfortable. This place was great. I was just here on business but it's a great place at a great value. I have referred this property to many friends/family. Worth checking it out!!

I booked a weekend getaway for me and my family and it far exceeded anything I could have expected. The rooms are ENORMOUS. The pool is amazingly relaxing and the overall setting in Palm Desert is perfect for the rest we needed. I would like to recommend to all interested. This appears to be an apartment complex that was originally a time share or condo project--the unit was very nice, the beds were lousy and the furnishings were low end. But, for a night or two it is a great deal for the price they charged. Close to the I-10 and shopping so it is a good location. We would stay there again--if they improve the beds.

WE HAD A HARD TIME FINDING OUR SUITE DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE WERE NOT SUPPLIED WITH A PRECISE AND LEGIBLE MAP. ALSO WE WERE PROMISED THAT THE FACILITY HAS HEATED POOLS WHICH IT WAS LACKING SO MY KIDS COULD NOT USE THE POOLS. IT WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I absolutely loved this place! I wish the hotel description would have been a little more clear, because this actually isn't a hotel its an apartment complex so the staff in the office has nothing to do with your check-in! As soon as I booked the room I received a call from a girl at Sonoran Suites and she provided me with the information I needed in […] order to get into the apartment! I would never stay here again. It is an apartment property that apparently has some rooms master leased to a company out of Scottsdale called Sonoran Suites. Since there is no one from Sonoran on-site to help you, there is literally no service offered at this "hotel". It is more like staying at a buddies apartment, where he leaves a key for you under […] the mat. The property itself was nice and the rooms very large--just know ahead of time what you are getting. For my money, I would rather spend a little more, and get a lot more. Mehr
