"Great position, lovely hosts."
This place was an oasis for us. We adored the history and old world features of the hotel while also embracing the modern comforts. The location was excellent and the staff were so welcoming and helpful.
"Residenza Ca' Foscolo, Venice - A haven!"
This was an absolutely delightful, well-appointed, beautiful and serene apartment right amongst it in Venice. Everything we needed was there, the service could not be faulted. with outstanding communication from Hotels.com and the Residenza in preparation for our trip. My only regret is that we only stayed one night!
"Residenza Ca' Foscolo - Doublecheck Expedia Reserv"
Residenza Ca' Foscolo is wonderfully located - just five easy minutes from the Rialto Vaporetto stops, and about ten minutes (through winding ways - but you'll get used to this in wonderful Venice) directly to St. Marks Square. We stayed in an apartment on the first floor. Directly out our windows was a canal way frequently used by gondolierie - and, […] less attractive, served during our stay as a frequent canal for working canal boats bringing construction materials starting at an early hour for renovations at a building across the small square from the Residenza. With the apartment, "breakfast" is provided - consisting of packaged, preservative-loaded old stuff in plastic bags. We ignored what was provided during our stay. The hotel reception was very helpful, arranging a guided boat tour of the Grand Canaly at our request. If you chose the Residenza, try not to stay on the ground floor - a second or third floor room might provide you a bit of isolation from the noise of the canal traffic (although you'll have to drag your bags up the stairs - there's no lift). If you want accomodation that provides something edible for breakfast, chose another accomodation. Otherwise, from the Residenza you can just go directly to the Rialto market or by the Rialto Vaporetto stops or to St. Marks Square, go to the counter and order a capuccino and dolce - the best breakfast in Italy, anyway. "Great Location & Yummy Breakfast"
We loved our stay at Residenza Ca' Foscolo in Venice. It was located just a short walk to all the tourist sights. Our appartment was a good size and we loved the generous selection of food stocked on the counter and in the fridge for breakfast!
"Residenza Ca' Foscolo"
Beautiful! Perfect location, very clean, spacious, and a friendly staff. Great price!! The snacks, juice, milk, bread, meat, and coffee provided in the kitchen each day was such a treat! We we were able to have a nice breakfast and snacks each day. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Venice!

"Large and Roomy"
Nice change up for us in Europe after spending time in small hotel rooms. All staff were friendly and helpful, definitely would recommend especially if you are looking for apartment type setting.
"Venice in the Spring!"
Wonderful short break (4 nights) in Venice in what must be one of the best locations in town: quiet/away from the crowds and yet within 5 minutes'walk of all the major sights. The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped, with modern bathroom, full kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, 4-ring hob + full-size oven, large fridge-freezer, satellite […] TV etc.), independent central heating/air-con, all this provided with a smile by very attentive owners. As we had brilliant weather as well, this was the perfect mini-break. We'll be back! Mehr
"Residenz Ca' Foscolo -- luxury at a bargain"
For a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, this place was NOT expensive. Not to mention gorgeous, comfortable, and historic, with original 16th century frescoes on the living room walls. Location is great, near Ponte Rialto, San Marco, and lots of other sights within walking distance. Almost all of Venezia is walking distance to anywhere, but this was super. […] The staff were so helpful with recommendations and in getting us info for a very early departure. Highly recommend for a family or two couples. Mehr
"Residenza Ca' Foscolo"
This hotel apartment is right in the center of Venice. It could not have been better located. It is close to St. Mark's square and all the shopping and extremely close to Rialto bridge. We took the water taxi from the train station to the Rialto bridge stop and then walked a couple of short blocks to our hotel. You can catch a gondola ride around the […] corner if you need a water taxi to the airport they pick you up right out front the hotel. The only downside is that this hotel does not have an elevator and it can be noisy in the morning as the room we had overlooked one of the inside canals which apparently was a main inside canal where the gondolas, water taxis, and delivery/garbage boats travel through. I guess that is the price you pay for the convenience of the location too. I think one of the other units may be quieter but you also don't get the view of the canal either. I wouldn't have chosen a different room. The noise was worth being able to step out onto the small balcony to view the busy canal throughout the day. Love the free wifi & breakfast as well! There is also a wonderful little restaurant about 1 block away. Best restaurant we ate at in Venice called Osteria Ae Sconte. Definitely an added plus! Mehr

"Great Location and lots of space"
We had two adults and one child and this hotel worked really well for us. The rooms were big, the kitchen came stocked with food for breakfast, and it had internet. The location was near lots of shopping (Rialto Bridge) and a short walk to St. Marks Square. The hotel was also clean and the staff very friendly. The only downsides were common to most […] hotels in Venice, in that there was no elevator and it could be loud outside at times. I would strongly recommend this hotel. Mehr
"Ca'fantastico!"
The reviews are right on. Gigantic apartment, spotless, and four minutes from the Rialto bridge. Great place, great host, great deal!
This is an apartment hotel. The receptionist Elisabetta is very professional and courteous. You do get maid service and there's a tray of breakfast filled up each day for the following morning's breakfast (packaged croissants, bread for toast, prosciutto, juice, etc..). The apt comes with a washer, no dryer (must hang clothes), kitchen with dishwasher, […] fridge, stove, etc.. The location is perfect, about halfway between Saint Marks square and the Rialta Bridge, kinda off the beaten path, so not many drunken fools screaming at 2am. Would definitely stay here again on next trip to Venice. Mehr
"Residenza Ca Foscolo - peaceful haven in Venice"
It's hard to believe you are so close to both the rialto and piazza san marco. Once back inside the hotel, it's an oasis of tranquility. the staff were delightful and extremely helpful. A backpack left on a water taxi prompted a flurry of phone calls by the hotel and it was returned within hours. couldn't have asked for more.
Gorgeous!! Apartment style. Recently renovated. Owner very nice and knowledgable. Spoke very good English too. Little difficult to find, but glad we stayed here. Would recommend it to anyone.
"No elevator and no bell service"
Arrived at 1 am and door locked and had to ring for attendant to let us in. Found the key in a box behind the door where wew were instructed to go to 2nd floor and use the key to enter 4 flights of stairs up and we entered a foyer with yet another flight of stairs Entered a clean 2 bedroom apartment with clean kitchen and sitting room . But, the bed […] was broken and there was no one to tell after climbing up 5 flights of stairs and no front desk. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Clean though Mehr

"Fantastic hotel, great location, great for families"
Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Great value, affordable, beautifully decorated and centrally located. Friendly staff service, loved the breakfast treats, wifi and AC. Unit was newly renovated and very clean, sleek and modern. We would highly recommend this hotel, and we would stay here again for sure.
"A wonderful surprise!"
We booked the Residenza Ca' Foscolo because we needed a place to stay with a kitchen and laundry (traveling to Italy with a 15-month old baby for 3 weeks). I never expected such a high level of service! The staff was very attentive, and truly went above and beyond for us. The location is perfect - just in between San Marco and the Rialto - but very, […] very private and quiet. Just what everyone should experience in a city as magical as Venice. My last stay in Venice - way back in 2001 - was at the Danieli, so I tend to have high standards (thanks to M&D paying the bill), but for my next trip to Venice, I will definitely stay at Ca' Foscolo! "A great place to stay in Venice"
We were here for just one night, but the hotel room that we had for four people (2 adults, 2 kids) was huge. An apartment complete with kitchen and washing machine. Great air conditioning. Nice decor. Excellent service from the young woman at the front desk. The only challenge - it was hard to find. Venice addresses are not easy to locate and there […] is no hotel sign on the outside of the building, just a small plaque with the name. Recommend you get directions before setting out to find it. "Absolutely Wonderful"
The Residenza Ca' Foscolo really made a good start to our trip. My wife, our 2 year old daughter and I took the bus from the airport to the Piazzale Roma and then decided to walk to the hotel, not a good plan if you have not been in Italy before or speak Italian :-). If you do get lost, as we did because of one wrong turn, your best bet is to ask the […] locals doing deliveries. You can't miss them, they are the ones pulling the delivery trolleys up and down those stairs. If you do decide to walk ensure that you have as little luggage as possible and even better a have a backpack. We fortunately only had 2 bags but they were trolley bags and this was not conducive with the number of stairs and bridges we had to cross. We got horribly lost but in the end managed to find the hotel and welcomed everything about the accommodation. After being there for a few days we figured out how simple it actually was to get around. We should have taken a water bus from Piazzale Roma which drops you off at the Rialto and the walk to the hotel is another 5 minutes from there at most. Trolley bags would have been OK if we had done this :-). The hotel is perfectly located, staff helpful and friendly and very close to the Rialto bridge and about 15 minutes walk to St Marks Square and other attractions but protected enough from the hustle and bustle. Our trip was made because of our accommodation and we will definitely not stay anywhere else when we return to Venice. Viva Residenza Ca' Foscolo. Mehr
"Reasonable pricing and spacious room"
The room is very comfortable and clean for family of four. The river water run through side of the building . We could see Gandola paddle through by us. It's wonderful little feature for stay in Venice. We will stay the same hotel if we return to Vience again.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel....it was walking distance to every place we went....10 min. to San Marco Square and 5 min. from the Rialto Bridge. Roberta was amazing....anything we wanted to know about Venice, she always had the information to give us or look it up for us...We wanted to go see The Barber of Seville and she called the place and […] booked our tickets and photocopied a map and showed us how to get there. The room was perfect...modern and clean and looked like newly refurbished right on the canal. We were on the 1st floor room #9 and it was perfect, because we didnt have to go up the flight of stairs with the luggage since there was no elevator. wifi was not always working from the room, but you can go to the 2nd floor and it works from there. We can't wait to go back and stay here again. Mehr
"Residenza Ca'Foscolo - Absolutely Fantastic"
Excellent location, excellent room, extremely clean, very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Highly, highly recommended!
"Great family hotel in Venice!"
Our family of 4 stayed at the Residenza Ca'Foscolo for 2 nghts. The room was much nicer than the photos on the web site. Great shower with plenty of hot water. We were on the ground floor without a view but found are room extremely comfortable. We also utilized the clothes washer which worked very well.

"Residenza Ca' Foscolo in Venice"
Our hotel room was beautiful - modern, clean and had great ammenities, including a washing machine. We loved the location. It was close to both the Rialto bridge and the Piazza San Marco, although it was VERY difficult to find. I recommend a really good street map, or directions before you arrive. There is no elevator, so you'll carry your luggage, […] potentially up 4 flights of stairs. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Just keep in mind that they only man the front desk at certain hours of the day. Since there was a refrigerator in our room, we were provided with some prosciutto, spreadable cheese and yogurt for breakfast. The rest of the items were packaged. It wasn't the best, but at least it was right in our room. Mehr

"Great place to stay-close to all the sights"
We, a family of 4, really enjoyed our stay. This place is easy to find and close to St. Mark's square and Rialto Bridge but is on a quiet street. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. Our room had a dish washer and a washing machine. They stock the kitchen with breakfast items but if that's not enough, the Rialto Market has fresh fruits, […] meat and cheeses and is with in 5 min walk. Mehr
"Residenza Ca' Foscolo: Charm and Convenie"
Located about midway between San Marco and the Rialto, Residenza Ca' Foscolo is a bit like having a nice apartment in Venice. It's convenient to all the major sites, important in a city where walking is the primary form of transport, and also off the beaten track, to the extent that there is one in Venezia. Among the little grace notes: my daughter's […] stuffed tiger was tucked into the bed every day by the housekeeper. If you aren't happy with your guidebook, feel free to borrow from a nice selection at the front desk. The staff was pleasant and helpful at all times. Mehr
"Residenza Ca' Foscolo Venice, Italy"
Oh what an easy review to write! This place was FABULOUS!!!! Roberta is the best (very informative, fun and helpful). THANK YOU! We are a family of five adults. This was a beautiful apartment, very clean, spacious, two bedrooms with queen (?) beds and a sofa bed in the living room. We even had a washing machine. A plentiful continental type of breakfast […] was also included (five of each item) Only wish we had been able to stay for more than one night. :-) Mehr
"Fabulous place for family or group"
What a fantastic place! The only drawback is that it does not have an elevator. So getting luggage upstairs to our apartment was not fun, but once there, we were amazed at how modern, comfortable, clean and convenient Ca' Foscolo was. We would definitely stay there again if ever in Venice and have recommended it to friends. Bonus -- after four days […] of climbing the steps, our leg muscles adjusted and we were all stronger for the experience! We stayed in apartment #6 -- two bedrooms, two full modern and well-appointed baths, air-conditioning (!!!), somewhat limited cable TV and small screen (but hey, that's not why we were there), nice size living room with pull out sleeper sofa and pull out single bed, dining area, terazzo floors throughout, and laundry washing machine (no dryer, alas) and modern kitchen -- which was restocked every day with fresh ground expresso coffee, cheese and meat and milk in fridge, and a basket of various packaged breads, cereals, drink mixes, pastries, and snacks. No extra charge for the food. All necessary supplies for dish washer and washing machine were provided. Free wi-fi access does not quite make it to Apartment #6, which is on the top floor, so everyone repaired to the lobby one flight down to do their daily wi-fi "fix." Met some very nice fellow tourists that way since several apartments share this lobby. Everything was extremely clean and in excellent repair. Bedrooms have a wall of floor to ceiling doors that open to reveal closet, safe, drawers, shelves and so forth -- very modern. Bathrooms have hairdryers. No iron/ironing board were provided but were available upon request. Although Apartment #6 can take as many as six guests, we found it was extremely comfortable for two couples. And a real bargain considering how much it would have cost for two separate hotel rooms of comparable quality. Location is superb. Half way between the Rialto and San Marco. Coming from Airport on orange Alilaguna or from rail station on the vap Mehr
"Residenza Ca' foscolo"
This is simply one the best paces I have ever stayed in Europe. If you are coming to Venice this is the only place you should consider. Unless you like overpriced rooms, stuffy staff and 20 euro pitchers of water. My last visit to Venice I stayed at the Westin Europa and the resid blows it away, The staff is great and rooms are huge for any where but […] specially Venice. Great location between the bridge and St Mark’s plus their own dock. I am a very tough customer when I travel and cannot find a complaint I would have during my stay, Take a little hint get the first floor room on the Canal. It has a great view and no stairs. Only drawback is the wireless dose not reach to the room. But you’re in Venice get off the computer or just walk up the stairs and you can get a signal. Mehr
"Best place to stay in Venice"
We stayed at Ca' Foscolo for two nights. It was fabulous. Very clean and neat. Great location in between Realto bridge and St. Mark's Sqare.

What a lovely experience we had in Venice and a delight to stay in Residenza Ca' Foscolo apartments. The housekeeping was excellent, to our delight the beds were made each day and changed every other day. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was very spacious(suitable for 6)and had every facility needed in a quiet street not too […] far from all attractions. A tray of food was topped up each day and the fridge was also filled with the necessary foods. I would recommend this apartment to anyone going to Venice as it is very central to all attractions. Not recommended to anyone who has trouble climbing stairs but that goes to say about most of the hotels or apartments in Venice. ' And don't judge a book by the cover.' Mehr

"Resince ca Foscolo"
Excellent hotel to stay for a family. Great and friendly service. Clean and spacious facility. Finding the place in dark is challenging, and because the area is going through renovation and construction, it tends to look spooky at night.
"Best place in Venice. . . . hands down"
Excellent stay all the way around. We have been to Venice 3 times prior with mixed experiences. AWESOME location between Rialto and San Marco. Great service, facilities and staff. Price is reasonable. Would loved to have stayed longer than 2 nights.
Mehr
"appart hotel a venise"
"flott opphold i Venezia"
praktisk flott leilighet, ikke langt fra Rialto broen. Hyggelig betjening grei frokost servert på rommet. overnatter gjerne her igjen
