Okey place to stay, but there were few taxi drivers that could drive us to the correct hotel. It was 15min walk to the station, but okey. We were given a non-smoking room, but it smelled like smoke in every part of the room. My friends room was better though. Good price though.

My girlfriend and I easily walked to and from the Floating Garden, the Sega Arcade, and Osaka station from our hotel. It certainly is a great location. Close to Hankyu station/mall and surrounded by delicious eateries (tip: explore the alleys). We got the breakfast with our room and it is certainly worth the extra $10-15. They did have some strange […] stuff(to most people, not to me!) for breakfast- like fish, pickled vegetables/roots, and seaweed salad, but they also had your traditional "Western" breakfast menu items like eggs, pastries, sausage and bacon. It is buffet style, but better quality than most sit-down American restaurants. As for the hotel, it is fairly new so it was very clean and did have modern styling. The room was a typical 3 star Japan room- small, but comfortable for two. Small rack/closet to hang 4 coats, luggage stand, and used the shelves near the desk to store clothes and shoes. The bathroom, bathtub, and bidet were also very clean. I marked a 4 for the quality of hotel service, because the guy at the front desk wasn't very friendly, just straight to business like "here's your key, go away" impression- nothing more, nothing less. Otherwise the rest of the staff was very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend if you have a JR Rail Pass and you plan to go sight-see Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. Mehr

Our room smelled funny and there was no MP3 docking station (something we actually were looking forward to after weeks of Japanese radio!), but the hotel was very modern and comfortable. This website says Tempozan Harbour Village Ferris Wheel is 700m away, but when we asked at the desk if we could walk there, we were laughed at! 10 mins walk from Umeda Station. The room is clean and large compared with the other hotels in Japan. Great that I can get the bargain room rate during the promotional period!

Hotel - The hotel is off the main Osaka train station a little (at Umeda side), but a short walk from the train station won't hurt, given the amount of interesting shops (both shopping shops and food establishments) that practically litters the street which leads from the train station to the hotel. A short 5 min walk from the hotel brings you into […] the heart of the Osaka area and to many shops within the underground cities of Hankyu Sangai and Whity. Just too many shops to list them all down. The room is decently sized, but the view is superb. The full view of the neon-lit lights, along with the beautifully decorated-massive ferris wheel on top of Hep Five gives a really vibrant night city view. Lively, exciting, vibrant. Amenities provided in the bathroom is the same as all other Japanese hotels: high quality, practical and adequate. And yes of course, the bum-washing, seat-warming, air-cleansing toilet bowl =) The staff speaks reasonably good english and provides good service. And yes, they do help you to keep your luggage, even if you should either reach the hotel early before you could check in OR, leave the hotel later after you already checked out. Free internet is available only at the lobby area, so do camp out at the lobby for your free dose of wifi nightly. Food - as mentioned earlier, walk around within radius of a 5 min walk would bring you to quite a number of food establishments that are pretty great to eat: ramen, don, takoyaki, jap-western food, yakitori (skewers) etc. There's even 3 nos. (24 hour) convenience shops: Lawsons, 7-11 and family mart all located within 5 mins' walk from the hotel. You will be surprised with the amount of items these shops stock up, yes - even for food items, sushi, dons, pastries, cakes, bread, etc.. (they taste superbly nice). Don't miss "shopping" in one of them when you are in Japan. Transport - Umeda, being just north of the main Osaka station city, is obviously well connected to almost all possibly subway/metro Mehr

10 minutes by walk from subway station

The Hearton room was spotless and comfortable. The location is quite good--easy walking distance to the subway and train station with plenty of shopping and restaurants in the neighborhood. The only shortfall was the buffet breakfast--which was edible, but not really good if you prefer Western food, and had little variety over our 3-day stay.

Location is very convinience to train station, shopping, restaurants & a catholic church beside the hotel

Nice new hotel in the great location but the rooms were little bit too tiny.

We only used the hotel as somewhere to put our head for the night, but the hotel was well kept and in a very convenient position for shopping, transport and airport busses. The room was compact but imaculate and very comfortable.

Its close to subway and restaurant .. Good for shopping !!!!

Although there were no early Check in available, we were able to spend a few hours exploring the area around the hotel. There are plenty of Shopping and cafe/ restaurant in the area which is extremely convenient. The closest MTR station is the Nakatsu station on the red line, which is just round the corner of the hotel and Umeda station is just 5mins […] walk away. Hotel interior is very new and the room is very comfortable. The room was more roomy then we thought. Staff were very helpful and they were able to store our baggage for us for a few days until we are returned from a trip outside of Kansai. Will definitely stay again in future! Mehr

clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby. However, some of the staff are poor in English and the pillow is a bit high and hard.

This Hotel is clean & comfortable. But, room is too small. Staff is polite & not difficult to communicate with English.

we were there for 10 nights. Hotel room was clean and comfortable for 2 adults + 1 kid. Apparently, they gave semi double bed for the 2nd bed (studio twin room). Loundry was available on basement. Close to 7/11 n family mart. You can easily walk to umeda subway station or osaka thru gourment museum n hankyu to avoid rainy or cold weather. Taxi to […] n from the limousine drop off point was 660 yen, but be prepared to show the exact hotel location on the map, because many drivers were not sure where it was. Good food are everywhere. Gourment museum, hankyu dept store, hanshin dept store, daimaru, hep, diamore, etc. If you hunt for cheap bento, go there around 7+pm. They offer 50% off on bento. If not, most restaurants along the strech would only cost you 300-800 per meal. Mehr

this is within walking distance from the tokyo station shopping centre, Loft, hanshin etc. a very good location if you just want to shop. food stores are everywhere too!

good location for taking Midosuzi line which connects main areas in Osaka and very tidy. no reason not to stay here unless you want to experience other places.

The hotel staff were able to accomodate our early arrival. When we arrived back at the hotel our luggage had been placed in one of the rooms. The staff were very pleasant to deal with. The breakfasts and one dinner were very enjoyable. The menu outside the dining room was displayed only in Japanese although the pictures were helpful. An English menu […] for foreign guests would be an asset. However having someone in our party that reads some Japanese was helpful. This menu machine would have been out of reach of anyone in a wheelchair. There were 2 panels of controls in the elevators at different heights. Convenient for shopping and tourist attractions. Easy access to trains. Laundry facilities are available for guests to use as well as laundry services. Pictures of the hotel matched the actual facility. We would recommend this hotel to other travellers. Mehr

Only 3 minutes walk to the subway, and 8 minutes walk to the Hankyu rail. Hotel is clean and new. Serves good breakfast.

Great location amd service

The room was considered cheap and big by Japanese hotel standards. However, the cups were not clean and had thick stains on them which I had to scrap off. The under cover of the toilet seat showed signs of insufficient cleaning (pee stains). I left the seat up to show the cleaners the stains before I left for my day trip and was all clean when I returned […] at night. The location was good, short walk to the nearest subway. Mehr

Just around the corner from the metro and 5 -10minutes walk to JR rail and restaurants. Good area

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon last week. It was our first trip to Japan and I was quite worried about finding the hotel, from the limousine bus(from KIX) alight point. Apparently it was approx. 10mins walk and I could spot the hotel easily from 300m away. I was also relieved to see a number of restaurants open till late hrs/24hrs while […] walking towards (we only arrived around 11pm). Check-in was fast and smooth. Hotel staff were helpful and some of them were able to communicate in english/mandarin.. Room felt cosy and just alright for the both of us. The toilet was clean and quite spacious. The only thing that bugged me a bit, was the bed location. The area around the hotel is quiet in the night. There are 3 convenience stores nearby the hotel and Nakatsu subway station just 3mins walk away. Do bring along your own plug converter, as they did not have any for my country (Singapore). I would definitely stay here again if I visit Osaka in future. Mehr

Great hotel, our room wasn't large but plenty of room for 2 people to be comfortable. Super clean, with modern furnishings and comfortable beds. Some rooms have a great view over Osaka, and it is within an easy 5minutes walk from Osaka Station and bus terminal and shopping areas it is super convenient. If i'm ever in Osaka again I will definitely stay […] here! Mehr

Fantastic hotel. Only two stops from the main station and a short walk to the bus from the airport. very safe neighbourhood, with lots of restaurants nearby. staff spoke perfect english and were extremely helpful. room was one of the largest i had in japan and it was spotless. free internet. would highly recommend.

Good business class hotel. Relatively new and about 10min walking time to Osaka JR station.

We lived in this area of Japan before, and so we had an advantage in knowing that this would be a great place from which to get to Kyoto and Kobe (in opposite directions from Osaka) as well as the Umeda area of Osaka, where this hotel is located. This hotel is easily within walking distance of huge concentrations of eating and shopping places. The […] Hankyu Umeda rail station is also very conveniently close, and one can get in from the Chayamachi exit. The Hankyu line gets one to the heart of the shopping area of Kyoto (Shijo Kawaramachi) and, going the other way, to Sannomiya in Kobe. We didn't spend a lot of time in this hotel. But the staff was very helpful in answering questions. The noon checkout time gives you plenty of time to pick up some extra stuff for friends and family at the really close department stores and other retailers. This is a fairly new hotel, not even a year old, and the facilities clearly reflect that newness. Although the room was very, very small, we appreciated the size of bathtub, which provides a quite nice opportunity to soak, especially since one has to do a lot of walking while touring Japan. Mehr

close to umeda shopping area with valuable prices, the staffs are helpful; good location and I can find many good resturants nearby even at late night. I will recommend this hotel to my friend.

We booked 3 nts in osaka when we couldn't find suitable accommodations in kyoto and found this to be quite convenient and much more reasonable, only 30' from kyoto on lmtd express-we hd jr pass so no extra expense on the commute. The japanese or western breakfast was good, unlimited juices and milk a nice touch. Hotel was much nicer than 3*. Only downside […] was we asked for a non smoking room but we could smell smoke. We didn't ask for a room change as we were so pleasantly surprised by the size and luxuriousness of our room. We booked the room on a half off sale and wasn't sure what to expect. Mehr

very new. rooms are more spacious than expected. more like a ****.convenient location from metro and jr stations. booked into here as reasonable hotels were all booked up in kyoto. good alternative and much cheaper than kyoto, only half hour away. did this hotel have a public bath/onsen spa?

A newly opened hotel situated in a quiet position, but easy access to Umeda, the busy shopping centre. The room is cosy and roomy compared with the same class. The 32" LCD TV is a good entertainment during the stay. It's worth to stay, I recommend this hotel.

It's a good hotel and room except the pillows. They have two type of pillows, but they are both too hard. It make us sleep not well. It might be affect I will stay the hotel again.

This is a well-managed hotel. However, the rooms are very small. It is a better, more comfortable stay for one person.
