Super-comfortable bed and blankets -- better than ours at home. Elegant bathroom with beautiful blue and white tiles -- our jaws dropped when we saw it. Friendly, helpful staff -- stored our suitcase first and last day and made our reservation at a nice restaurant. We plan to stay here again.

In wenigen Minuten ist man mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel in der Stadt und Hafen. Absolut zu empfehlen. Haben spontan den Urlaub verlängert und kommen gerne wieder.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 26. Nov. 2012Ich bin für zwei Nächte unter der Woche hier abgestiegen und hatte keinen Grund zur Beschwerde. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Weil die von mir gewünschte Zimmerart nicht verfügbar war (2 Personen, getrennte Betten), erhielt ich ein kostenloses Upgrade in ein 4-Personen-Zimmer (1 Schlafzimmer mit 2 Betten und ein Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer). Die Zimmer waren sauber und in Ordnung, die Matratzen waren okay. Ein kleines Problem mit der Dusche (das Warmwasser wollte nicht rinnen) wurde sofort behoben. Lediglich der Flur des Hotels ist nicht besonders schön, aber es ist halt auch kein Luxushotel. Die Lage ist recht gut, eine zentrale Metrostation in der Nähe, morgens findet ein paar Hundert Meter weiter täglich ein lokaler Markt statt. Ab 22 Uhr ist die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Achtung beim Kühlschrank, ich habe eine Karaffe Wasser reingestellt und auf volle Leistung gestellt, über Nacht ist das Wasser gefroren (!) und die Karaffe zersprungen. Sie wurde übrigens anstandslos ersetzt. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis.

"Superb Location"
This hotel is ideally situated for exploring Aix-en-Provence, close to the main avenue, the Cours Mirabeau. It is within easy walking distance of the bus station, served by the Marseille Airport bus and buses to nearby towns such as Avignon. While our room was quite small, a shady balcony proved very useful. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning […] very efficient. Although close to the city centre the room was very quiet. Excellent location. Can walk to everything. Wonderful restaurants everywhere. The staff was extra helpful & courteous with very nice personalities. I was on business and they were very helpful with some business matters. My only problem was a water leak in my room on the last night. We stayed here after a journey down from the UK on the TGV and before picking up a car hire the next day: liked the hotel - unpretentious, friendly and reasonably priced. It was only 5 minutes walk from the drop off for the shuttle from the TGV station which is a few miles outside Aix. (We would, by the way, recommend doing the TGV trip from the UK.) Our accomodation was excellent and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is the best location for walking to all the sights and close to the helpful Tourist Information Center. If you are arriving in Aix en Provence by train, look for the shuttle bus that takes you a couple blocks from the hotel - costs under 10 euros each. Stylish hotel with an Excellent, helpful reception. Huge bed and a multijet shower. Only dissapointment was the restaurant. Decent food but dirty glasses. Not just one. Every glass on every table. Awkward head waiter who was too relaxed and acted as if he was better that us. I recommend going out to find a nice restaurant. Breakfast was ok. I booked in January for a stay in July (special rates during Expedia sale). I paid for a single room with a shower, but was delighted to be allocated a small double room with a bath. Furthermore, the room had a small balcony with a table and chairs - perfect! I dined at Brasserie Leopold on both Sunday and Monday evenings, when many local restaurants […] are shut. This hotel is what it says it is. It is a nice little hotel - clean and comfortable, but small. We spent one night there essentially on our way to the rest of Provence. The hallways are narrow with lots of steps, in case you have luggage. The restaurant is pleasant - nothing to rave about, but again, comfortable and accommodating of children. Had the slowest internet I have encountered since dial-up and only available for one logon so that was a big disadvantage to us who are travelling in a different hemisphere and need to keep in touch with family by email.
