Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Sheikh Zayed Road (Hauptstraße Dubais). In wenigen Gehminuten ist die Metrostation der roten Linie zuerreicht. Mit der Metro lassen sich viele Ziele (Dubai Mall, Flughafen, ...) gut erreichen. Zu empfehlen ist die Silver Card, welche wie eine Art Prepaid-Karte fürs Handy funktioniert. In der Nähe befinden sich einige Restaurants,Fast-Food-Ketten […] und kleinere Supermärkte (etwa 10 Minuten Gehzeit). Es gibt einen (täglichen) Shuttel-Service vom Hotel zu verschiedenen Malls und öffentlichen Stränden und zurück. Die Zimmer sind alle dem Alter des Hotels entsprechend fast neu und sehr schön. Per Fernbedinung ließ sich das Licht einschalten und die Vorhänge zu ziehen. Das Deluxe-Zimmer war sehr großzügig geschnitten und die Badewanne mit dem Panoramafenster zur Strandseite war einfach top. Der 40 Zoll Fernseher hatte mehr als 60 Programme zu bieten, darunter allerdings nur ein deutscher Sender (ZDF). Einzig der Wasserablauf in der Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig und das Wasser lief schlecht ab nach dem duschen. Der Pool wird ständig von einem Lifeguard überwacht, Handtücher und kühle Erfrischungstücher gab es umsonst. Es war immer genügend Platz zum Sonnen und Baden. Abends wird der Pool mit LED-Würfeln beleuchtet und man kann auf den Liegen den Abend genießen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Hotelzimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und wir wurden nie gestört. Können das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen. Mehr

the hotel was lovely and i would definitely stay there again. the bathroom with a view of the city was just mind blowing...and what a beautiful skyline!! even though my request to switch to a room with a bathroom view didnt quite fall through, it wasnt because the hotel management didnt try. all in all, beautiful hotel in the perfect location.

Since it wasn't exactly the most expensive hotel in the area, I thought it would be mediocre at best. Boy was I wrong! The room was unbelievably luxurious, the staff waited on me hand and foot, and the food was to die for! I can't wait to go back!

we booked a room for three adults, but when we arrived and saw the room first time it was a room for only two people connected with a small living room. There was no place even to put an extra bed. Straight away we cancelled the booking without staying and we will not accept any charges.

Excellent location for the Dubai World Trade and Convention Centre (DICEC). We found the Radisson Royal to be very comfortable with modern facilities and good restaurants. For its class, location and facilities, it represented reasonable value. In particular the staff went out of their to make you feel welcome and wanted. It's very close to the Dubai […] Metro link if you want to get out and about to other parts of the city, but one would have to say it's really geared to the business traveller. There isn't that much around within walking distance in the way of other restaurants or activities. Mehr

Fantastic hotel. We have stayed in other Radisson hotels in Dubai as we usually spend Xmas in Dubai, we found this hotel to be the best so far. Fantastic location, extremely helpful staff, good food and comfortable - our two kids loved it. Will definitely stay there again and again and again!

A good hotel, well located and very comfortable. Food good but expensive.Best part is the free wifi. Available everywhere and very fast. No silly policies of earning extra revenue and complex login.Much appreciated and on that basis alone will choose radisson here again.

Great hotel overall. Right next to the metro station so transportation is very convenient. Hotel always seems crowded. It was very crowded when I checked in at midnight. It was also very crowded when I checked out of the hotel in the morning. I am not an easy customer to please, I admit that, and I very rarily give a hotel stay top score. The three day stay I had at Radisson Royal this weekend, however, definitely deserves top rating - from the check-in, the service and friendliness of staff, the comfort and cleanliness of the room, the spectacular bath room with the tub before an amazing […] view, the breakfast, the efficiency of the room service and the really tasty (and reasonably priced) food - to the the quick check-out: I was really happy with it all. The gym was fine with all the essential equipment (could have added an olympic barbell) and the pool area was perhaps a bit small, and I definitely would have wanted to see a coffee machine in the room. But in conclusion, this is one of the few hotels I would actually prioritize to go back to. Location is convenient on Sh. Zayed´s road with only 5 min. drive to Dubai Mall (25-30 min. to the Marina). This is my second stay at this hotel. The check-in and porterage have always been smooth on arrival but the trouble with this hotel is the actuals rooms. The walls are very thin and you can be troubled by noisy neighbours as I've been on both occasions at the hotel. The first prompted a call to the Duty Manager when the adjacent room were playing […] loud music and partying till 3am mid-week (with yours truly due up at 7am for the conference). This visit's noisy neighbour was small infant exercising his lungs at 5am. Now, I have nothing against children or people having a good time. But I just wish the hotel had adequate sound proofing between rooms so that people who need to sleep, can. The other sleep inhibitor in the actual light switches themselves. When the light is switched off, the wall switch is bathed in a fluorescent blue. Now given that each and every switch for the numerous lights and the curtains have the same effect, you end up sleeping in what feels like the bridge of the star ship Enterprise. Call me old fashioned, but the purpose of the ability to switch lights on and off, is the absence of light!! The shower floods the whole bathroom floor for about twenty minutes until is slowly drains. Manageable when you're travelling solo, but inconvenient when you're sharing. My only hope that this hotel's next incarnation solves these minor, but irritating issues. This would be the only reason I'd return to a hotel I gave two chances due to its location. Mehr

Great location, near Dubai Mall, shops, busy area. Accessible to other area of the city via taxi, or own transportation. Helpful staff and lots of lobby space and other areas to receive visitors. Walking distance to other hotels and eateries, pharmacy, convenience store and outdoor sitting area. One complaint - ordered breakfast via room service and […] it took over 75 minutes for delivery. The meal was good and plenteous ( enough for 6 people) coffee and tea were hot but it just took too long. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and comfortable. Mehr

Good hotel. Some disappointments: swimming pool closed due to maintenance as from 31 May 2012. Night club posh but not open to guests of the hotel (need reservation and only for couples). Hotel bar not very inspiring. Gym basic. Room good with separate shower. Breakfast very good.

Generally a good experience. Managed to get a room despite arriving 6 hours before normal check-in time. Only grouse would be that the breakfast at the Club Lounge should be improved, it was the same food for the 5 mornings that I stayed.

This hotel is well located in Dubai and offers an great range of services as a genuire 5-star hotel. I enjoyed looking at a really high-standing city by the evening time when I stood up in front of the hotel watching fast trains, cars beautiful people and a real City. I like the location of this hotel and will go back as often as I would.

The staff at this hotel was great -- very polite and responsive. There were a couple of maintenance issues with my room that popped up over the course of a three day stay, but all were quickly resolved. The hotel is fairly recently a Radisson (it was formerly a JAL hotel), so the interiors are a little atypical of the brand. My room was comfortable, […] though; it was modern, had lots of wood paneling, and also had an extraordinary amount of electronics. A benefit of the former management was the top quality Japanese restaurant on the 49th floor. A friend and I enjoyed a great meal there, taking in views of the Emirates Towers, Burj Khalifa, and Sheikh Zayed Road. The Thai restaurant on the 2nd floor is also good. The location on SZR was great for my needs. There were a number of restaurants and a small grocery within walking distance, and the hotel was within reasonably close proximity to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall (max 10 minute cab ride). It's easy to grab a cab off the street in front of the hotel. Mehr

Everything was how we thought it would be - really good. I would say though that I would recommend it to businessmen rather than families.. we were in 4 and the room was smaller than we aspected.

TOP Hotel. Very friendly people, Know who you are and understand what you need ( real 5 stars ). Smart suite with a wonderfull view ( see and town ). it was a pleasure to take a bath and have such a nice view from the bathroom. Nice food. The Radisson Royal at Dubai eschews most of the over detailed and over the top design idiom that characterizes the gold plated competitiveness of Dubai. Instead, it stands out for its clean line, ultra modern, almost minimalist design idiom and yes, its slick! The main reception lobby is furnished with Jehs + Laub space chair and other such Fritz Hansen […] product accouterments. Lighting design is spotless with slim linear backlight LED luminaries being carried over from the reception lounge, into the lift elevators and finally the 24 hour coffee shop. The rooms, although well appointed, sadly do not live up the the "designer" expectation built up at the public spaces. The high point for us was the floor to roof glazing. extending from the room into the very large bathing area, providing spectacular views of Downtown Dubai from the 44th floor where we were staying. The service was friendly although the check in/ out procedure took a lot of time. The hotel is very well located in the heart of downtown Dubai, just a five minute drive away from the Burj Khalifa and the Mall of Dubai with all its attractions. Although, if you are a nighbird, you dont have to go further than the nightclub on the ground floor to get a taste of the nightlife in Dubai. Overall, a great option to stay at in Dubai. Probably the best I have tried in my 5 ot 6 visits to the city so far. Mehr

The hotel has a fantastic location, especailly for those visiting the ever-busy exhibtion center. You can use the Metro bridge to cross Shiekh Zayed road, which is a seven- lane highway. Very nice hotel with a scandinavian design. The rooms were beautifull (we were on the 46th floor) with view out out to the city. A friend got a much less attractive room facing inwards that was smaller and much more cramped. I suggest selecting a room with king bed instead of two separate beds as these seem to be placed lower in the building.

Cuando vi las fotos en la web me parecio un hotel muy bonito, pero despues de haber estado en el creo que se quedo corto. La habitacion era impresionante y la amabilidad de todo el personal extraordinaria. De los mejores hoteles que he visitado. Al registrarnos descubrimos que teniamos una serie de comodidades que no sabiamos, como el lunch de la tarde […] con bebidas incluidas. Fint hotell med service-minded personal. Tyvärr var poolen under underhåll vilket var väldigt synd! Hotellet ligger lite på "fel" sida av stan men då taxi är så billigt och metron går precis utanför gör det inte så mycket.
