loved every minute of it! Clean, everything worked . Close to palm springs shops/dinning, we walked pretty much everwhere we went except the Palm Springs Tramway.

Love this place. Very pleasant, nice location, great value.

Me and my husband went to celebrate our anniversary for a few days. We loved this hotel when it was under another owner, and we love it now as well. Its very beautiful and the pool area is very peaceful. The breakfast was, however, too minimum. Just coffee and a muffin. No juice, fruit....nothing else. But other than that........great!!

We have stayed in this hotel for Coachella's 1st weekend and it was very reasonably priced for that time of year. The location is excellent, on Palm Canyon Drive, close to all the restaurants and shops downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were modern, cozy and clean. The only issue we had was that when we first checked in the […] room was not made up, but that is probably because we checked in early. They quickly made it up after we told them. Free wi-fi in rooms is available, plus there is a computer/reading room with a printer which was quite useful. A nice touch was having chill-out music playing in the outdoor areas of the hotel, which I found relaxing especially when lounging by the pool. As for breakfast, the very popular Cheeky's was right next door. I highly recommend their delicious buttermilk waffles with almond butter and bananas. All in all, I'd definitely stay in this hotel again. Mehr

Great hotel. Some noise outside window with a busy street but I did not mind it very much and only really heard it once you opened the windows. Otherwise an amazing experience and will definitely be back. Restaurants attached to hotel are great and I would check them out for an amazing meal.

We loved this hotel, it's clean and pretty. The landscaping is lovely, it's mostly quiet, everything is new. The waterfall screens, white lights, and fire area is very nice. Linens are nice and it's a quick walk to downtown shops and restaurants. "Breakfast" only consists of one or two types of pastries and coffee. Smoking is allowed in the common areas […] which we did not like at all. It wasn't nice to sit out by the pool and smell smoke nor see the ashes and cigarette butts in the walkways. We could hear talking in the room next to us. Overall, we really liked it and will stay there again. Mehr

When we arrived, we found that Hotels.com had not contacted the hotel with our information. We were asked by Alberto to find a number to contact them. We found the number, Alberto spoke to a representative and they faxed the needed information. Not a big deal, but made us a bit nervous. We were told to always confirm with the hotel directly, probably […] a very good idea. Our room was, as requested, king, near pool. It was small but perfectly fine for our needs with a good sized bathroom and nice amenities. After driving from the bay area, we didn't feel like getting back into the car and there was a nice little restaurant next door. Comfortable bed with sparkling white linens. Great coffee and pastry in the morning! Really enjoyed our stay. Mehr

A great place to chill.Loved everything about it!

In a word, we loved the hotel. The courtyard and hotel grounds were beautiful and much attentionwas given to design and comfort. The pool was fun, and Birba (the patio restaurant) was jsut right. Our only complaints were that the porch light shone in the room even with the louvres closed, making sleep a little difficult at first,a nd the hotel walls […] were quite thin, so we could hear the TV adn conversation in theneighboring room. The location is absolutely perfect, friendly and convenient neighborhood. Staff very professional and friendly as well. We would return and also recommend to others. Mehr

If you like clean, friendly, quiet and close to town-this is the place. Very nice stay here and good price performer in this area.

lovely place where a great deal of thought was given to details and it pays off. Pool, grounds and easy parking are a real plus, as are the two restaurants next door. Particularly liked that my Siberian Husky had his own private patio where I could leave him to relax, sleep and avoid the sun (Siberian, no?). Only minor criticism: it gets cold at night […] and the spotless bathroom could use a heater of some sort. Help were very helpful and kind. Have already told many of my friends. BRAVO to the management and staff. I would happily stay there again. Mehr

Everything about this place was great. A lot of attention to making it cute. Walking location to everything in town. The only problem was that the walls seemed quite thin and I think that was because it is an old building that was updated. One night our neighbors came in about 3:30. While talking in normal tones they woke us both up. Their voices and […] quite loud coming through the wall. The next night we were treated to what I thought was a puppy whimpering, but my GF insisted it was our new neighbors having sex. Not as annoying as the voices the night before, but I think a newer hotel would have better sound proofing. But really, she sounded like a puppy. All in all I think it was a charming place. Everyone was very nice and you get coffee and danish in the morning. Mehr

Nice hotel but we stayed in a room that was located on a busy street. We heard car flying pass all night.

Very attentive management. Was staying with daughter to relax and recuperate after a back injury. Only concern was with the construction being done on property. With the many different workers walking around, left me feeling a little on guard, unable to completely relax. But beautiful hotel, the price was very reasonable.

The walls were thin and we could hear everything in the neighboring rooms. The heaters and plumbing were extremely noisy - not just in our room, but in the rooms of those neighbors when they used them. Also, the rooms all all white. ALL WHITE. That might be your thing - I don't know...but it's stark. In my opinion it wasn't comforting.

Very nice hotel. The bed was very comfortable and had quite nice bedding including a fluffy comforter. The room was very nice overall--it felt new and airy. Beautiful grounds. Conveniently located on the main downtown street of Palm Springs. Great value for the price.

Our experience at the Alcazar Palm Springs was exceptional. The facility grounds were beautiful and calming. The room reminded me of a bungalow, and the small size of the hotel was an extremely pleasant retreat from large, hallway rooms at the big chain hotels. The Alcazar is a newly-renovated mini-resort in the heart of Palm Springs Design District. Would have been a bargain at twice the price.

i arrived around noon and had to wait in 100 degree weather for my 3pm check in so i was not in the best mood. then the wifi was not working in my room as it was under a stairway and i had to change rooms after wasting 1-2 hours figuring this out. BUT things got SO MUCH BETTER from this point on. both rooms were well appointed, super clean and comfortable. […] the pool is open 24 hours a day and it's heaven to swim under the moonlight. the new owners are super concientious and do everything they can to make your stay great. i would definitely stay here again. We arrived on the day of the hotel rebranding from the Pepper Tree Inn to the Alcazar... except nobody told us the name was changing! We had driven round and round the block until a friendly policeman advised of the old name of the hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted in a very friendly and professional way and upgraded at no cost to the hotel's best […] room complete with hot tub! We were only staying for one night but wished it was longer, the room was lovely with a simple natural style. The gorunds of the hotel were really attractive and the pool was always popular with guests. Mehr

We stayed over the Labor Day weekend...The room was extrememly clean! The only thing missing was a bath tub. (Which I only missed a little) Beds were very comfy!! Our room took a while to cool down during the day, but that was due to it being 111 degrees out and staying on the second floor. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and the saline pool […] was beautiful and lovely and comfortable!! The lounge chairs and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing with a few drinks and a good book! Price was low compared to the area and considering everything was newly renovated and fresh!! Would absolutely stay again and would recommend it! Mehr

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel for our honeymoon! It was the most peaceful and relaxing hotel I have ever stayed in. There were very few guests, it was an adult atmosphere, we had the entire swimming pool to ourselve, the wall fountains and ambiance were amazing and relaxing. No water, No cups I had medicine to take. No trash can in the bathroom or room, No Iron!!! Come on who does not have an iron in a hotel. The room felt like a closet, there was no chair to set things on. A bed, and the two night stands that is all that fit in the room. We were pleasently supprised at the quality of this hotel.

We went to Palm Springs for a weekend getaway and stayed at the Pepper Tree Inn. The grounds were serene, nice pool, and great air conditioning for those hot days. The room was clean and very comfortable. They gave us an upgrade when we arrived which was a pleasant bonus. I would stay there again and would pay a little extra for the pool rooms with […] an outdoor patio. Mehr

This is a nicely redone hotel near downtown. The staff is great and the hotel is comfortable and a bargain for the price.

The room I stayed was very clean and everything is white. As I saw this hotel's room on Hotels.com, this hotel is well-designed hotel. It seems each room has different decor. Decor is pretty beautiful inside of room and outside for reasonable price. Night view is also very romantic. Definitely recommend.

Checked in at 11pm. Lady at front desk stayed after her shift ended at 10pm because she knew we were going to check in late. That was so nice of her. When we got there we immediately went to the 24 hour pool. It was a perfect night in a beautiful room.

My boyfriend and I needed a little getaway so we went for one night, July 4th to July 5th. We walk in and the service was great, Ramon I think was helping us. The pool is smaller but when we were there, no one was there so we had the pool to ourselves! :) Its a 24hr open pool, they don't have a liquor license but they don't mind if you bring your own […] alcohol to the pool, just use plastic cups. It was so serene and just perfect. We got upgraded to the King Deluxe with the jacuzzi in the bathroom, it was great! The bathrooms are big but they could use up the space a little more with decorations or a bigger mirror (just saying this since I'm a stickler on bathrooms. The bed was comfy, air conditioner worked perfect too. It was about 112 degress outside so it was nice to come into a cool room. At the time, Palm Springs is a ghost town, but perfect for those who want a quiet getaway. My parents stay here all the time when they come out and love it. Across the street is a great Italian restaurant too. Love how the hotel is literally a block away from downtown and near many restaurants. Check it out!! Mehr

I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel was centrally located to all of my destinations (casino, restaurants, shops, etc). The staff was extremely friendly and the rates were unbeatable. I will stay in this location moving forward.

Even though the air outside was 110 the pool and the room was cool and relaxing. Beautiful place and the staff was very friendly!! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. I'd go back ANY time!!

The hotel was great. The staff were nice and helpful allowed us to check in early. It's close to lots of places to go. Jakes around the corner is now our favorite place to eat in palm springs.

I picked this one on a whim because it looked cute and was reasonably priced. Once we got to Palm Springs, I realized we couldn't have chosen a better place. The property and rooms and adorable, modern and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only tiny complaint is that the pillows are very, very firm (I awoke with a neck ache). […] We drove/walked past many other hotels while in town and they either looked dingy or way too over the top--like casino and spa resorts. If you want a comfortable, beautiful and AIR-CONDITIONED place to stay while in Palm Springs, this is the place! Mehr

This little hidden treasure was a delight. The room was clean and comfortable. It even had a small refrigerator. The pool was open 24/7, which is a plus because the heat in the daytime made poolside activities uncomfortable –a nighttime dip under the stars was very relaxing. The location was adequate for an evening stroll downtown. There was however, […] some differed maintenance in and around the outside –some weeds and sun scorched and stained plastic chairs on the rear patio, and closet doors that did not operate correctly. Nevertheless, the lapse maintenance couldn’t underrate the charm and comfort of this quaint little Inn. And although I didn’t partake in any of the Inn’s additional amenities and indulgences such as an in-room massage, overall it was a great value. I would stay there again. Mehr
