Unser Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt . Das Hotel wurde wohl erst frisch renoviert,. Die Einrichtung ist adrett gestaltet und gemütlich . Lediglich unser Zimmer war etwas klein ,für unseren Zweck aber vollkommen ok .Das Personal ist denk ich über jeden zweifel erhaben . Freundlich hilfsbereit und angenehm. Zur nächsten Buslinie sind es lediglich 3 min Fussmarsch . Tickets für Bus und Vaporetto können gleich an der Rezeption gelöst werden . Das erspart lange warterei an den Schaltern in Venedig bzw beim Busfahrer. Wir können es nur empfehlen

Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut, viel Auswahl, Müsli, Obst, Rührei, Speck etc. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben z. B. sehr gute Restauranttips bekommen. Alles war fussläufig innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen.
Es können eventuell Gebühren für zusätzliche Personen anfallen, die abhängig von den Bestimmungen des Hotels variieren können.

Das nordwestlich von Venedig gelegene Mestre wird von Touristen häufig als Ausgangsbasis für Ausflüge nach Venedig und in die Region Venetien genutzt. Auf Mestres fußgängerfreundlicher Hauptstraße Piazza Ferretto laden Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zum Verweilen ein. Eine besondere Sehenswürdigkeit ist der Wachturm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. Der Brenta-Kanal, bekannt für die im klassizistischen Stil des Architekten Andrea Palladio erbauten eleganten Villen entlang des Ufers, mündet bei Mestre in die Lagune und verläuft in westlicher Richtung bis zur historischen Universitätsstadt Padua.

Sehr sauberes, relativ neues Hotel. Wir haben 4 Tage dort verbracht. Ein Kinderbettchen für unsere 8 Monate alte Tochter war kostenlos erhältlich und wurde umgehend im Zimmer aufgebaut. Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse recht umfangreich. Das Hotel liegt in keiner besonders netten Umgebung (Industriegebiet), der Bus nach Venedig fährt aber nahe […] des Hotels ab und ist in ca. 15-20 Minuten dort. Daher ist das Hotel ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Reisen nach Venedig (und weitaus günstiger als vergleichbare Hotels dort). Das Hotelrestaurant ist durchaus okay. Wer es einfacher mag: hinterm Hotel liegt noch eine Sportsbar mit Burger, Hähnchen etc. Für uns war der einzige Minuspunkt, das es eine Verbindungstür von unserem Zimmer ins Nebenzimmer gab und es durch diese recht hellhörig war. "Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig."
Das Hotel liegt in einem kleinen Gewerbegebiet unweit der Autobahn. Es liegt äußerst verkehrsgünstig. Eine Bushaltestelle ist ca. 4 min entfernt. In 20 min. ist man in Venedig. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, Zimmer und Bad sind sauber. Die Zimmer haben eine Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück ist typisch italienisch, zu viel Kuchen und wenig Abwechslung. […] Am Wochenende gibts Kaffee aus dem Automaten. Postkarten besser selber abschicken, unsere Post wurde erst eine Woche nach unserer Abreise zur Post gegeben. Das Best Western Quid Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Neue beste Ausstattung. Freundliche Bedienung und gute Beratung an der Rezeption, in der Bar und im Restaurant . Frühstück reichhaltig. Zudem alles sehr preiswert. Einziger Vorschlag: Die Wegbeschreibung und Ausschilderung für die letzten 800 m der Anfahrt könnte verbessert werden. Super Hotel, modern und sehr gepflegt. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Zimmer sehr sauber und komfortabel. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. "In 20 Min vom Festland in Venedig"
Das Hotel war super, mit allem ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der weg nach Venedig war einfach zu finden, mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und auch günstig. Im Hotel bekamen wir alle infos dazu, für Bus und Schiffsverkehr nach Venedig.

"Neues modernes Hotel"
Für Städtetrips nach Venedig sehr zu empfehlen, zwar außerhalb von Mestre aber mit dem Bus bis 22.00 Uhr gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind modern und sauber. Das Frühstück war leider nicht geniessbar ; Kaffee nur aus dem Automaten (sehr schlecht)!! Jeden Tag das gleiche Frühstücksbuffet und es wurde nur auf Anfrage nachgefüllt.

"Excellent Airport Hotel!"
Because of an early morning flight, I moved from the island of Venice to this hotel. It would not be a good choice for a vacation Venice location, but as a stopover, it was absolutely excellent! I would recommend this hotel in every way! It is a 10 minute drive from the airport, but the shuttle was efficient and reasonable.

Beware of 40 euro taxi fare each way from airport - 5km distance! Hotel could not arrange the shuttle because they stated they require 24hr notice to organize and we arrived the afternoon before our morning flight. Hotel new and clean - beds/pillows a little hard (like many European hotels). Surprisingly at 8pm on Saturday evening the restuarant at […] hotel was closed, even though advertised it was open - they sent us 25meters across the parking lot to a chicken & fries reataurant. Breakfast buffet was fine - again no service - all laid out and machines for coffee and juice. Strange to be a hotel where you are not greeted by any staff. "quid hotel near Marco Polo airport in Venice"
We stayed here one night in order to catch a very early flight out of Venice. This hotel was extremely modern and clean. The restaurant was not open on that Sunday night so we took sandwiches to our room from the bar. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. We needed to be at the airport at 5 a.m. and the shuttle was exactly on time.

If you are trying to go to Venice from here, you should probably be aware that the bus that goes straight to Venice is not very reliable. Shows up whenever the driver feels like and service starts very late and stops very early. "Good hotel, far from Venice"
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Quid as the hotel itself was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. A nice plus is that the hotel also has a luggage storage room so if your flight is later in the day after you've already checked out, you can still roam around without having to drag your […] luggage around. If you plan to use this hotel as a hub to visit Venice, then be prepared to have some long journey's on the bus. The bus stop is conveniently located on the main street in front of the hotel, but the trip to/from Venice is a good 25-30mins. Also note the direct bus back from Venice only runs until about 9pm after which point you have to take a connecting bus or taxi from the train station in Mestre. On the flip side if you are flying in/out of Venice then its a good choice since its quite close to the airport. All in all, a good hotel at very reasonable price compared to what you get in Venice...just wish it was a bit more convenient to get back and forth. Mehr

"Best Western Quid Venice Airport - not that close"
The hotel was lovely in a somewhat deserted area. If you are planning to visit Venice be aware that it is almost an hour by bus to the Venice bus depot. It is faster by taxi, but it cost about 50 Euros to the land depot. No matter which way you choose, you must then board a water taxi or vaperetto to reach Venice proper. From St. Marcs to the hotel […] was about 1 hour 45 minutes. If you miss the be aware that the run every 30 minutes. The airport seemed to be more than 3 miles away, but it took only 15-20 minutes. The drop off at the airport is in a parking lot several hundred feet from the terminal's arrival level. you must go up to the next level to check-in. The cost of the airport shuttle was 5 Euros/person. Reservations for the shuttle are a must as the van seats only 7 and baggage space is quite tight. Warning: Hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday. We had to walk through a dark construction area to find a restaurant for dinner. In short, the inconvenience of reaching Venice far surpasses the hotels other qualities. We recommend it only for an overnight stay for an early flight out. Mehr

Hotel was very nice with nice dining room and bar. However, I would have stayed in Venice another night and not had a 40 Euro cab ride to the hotel had I realized it was not right at the airport. Staff were lovely and accommodating.

its not close to Venice, but you can take a bus to Venice really easily. I enjoyed my stay there and would book it again if I ever went back to Italy!
"NOT NEAR THE AIRPORT"
The hotel was a very nice hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly. But the hotel name is a little decieving because it is not to near the airport it's actually a E40 taxie ride. We did not find out about the shuttle service until after we got there. And if you want to step outside and walk somewhere maybe to a resturant, forget it. What a fabulous hotel. Brand new, clean, contemporary, friendly staff, and great rooms. More of a "North American"-sized room versus a more standard "European" hotel room. Definitely 4-star. Food in the hotel restaurant was particularly good. I guarantee the prices will go up once people start hearing about this 1 year-old gem!

nice rooms with air con and very spacious. has free buffet breakfast and cheap airport shuttle service for 5 euros per person. we took a taxi to the hotel for 35 euros from the airport as we did not know how to take the airport shuttle service from the hotel. nearby shopping mall has auchan and flunch restaurant. staff is very helpful and gave us clear […] directions and map to the shopping mall. the bus to venice takes about half an hour but pls board the correct bus that says venezia. the staff did not tell us which bus number to take and we took the wrong bus once and ended up at a hospital. Excellent choice for early morning flights out of Venice - a nice surprise - internet worked very well and was free - asked for extra water and were provided almost instantly more bottles free of charge - airport shuttle left right on time - staff were very efficient - escellent value for the money - not much else around the hotel but for an overnight […] stay before a flight it was perfect - 45 euros in a taxi from the cruise ship terminal to the door of the hotel. The hotel is approximately only one year old. Rooms are spacious and very confortable. I'm not sure whether is a good idea to control the AC in the rooms from the reception desk. The breakfast service (included) is very good...Internet is free. Beds are confortable... The restaurant must expand its menu 100%... We liked the Quid!!!...

First off, the customer service was excellent. They spoke very good english, had both UK and USA adapters available, and gave good info on how to get downtown (included sale of bus tickets and map of where to go). Breakfast was fantastic. The dining room servers were there immediately to give eating utensils. We had a few issues with the room. There […] was still hair from the last occupant in the bathroom so not a great level of cleanliness. The biggest complaint was the lack of shower drainage or clogging. The shower was pretty much level with the bathroom floor and when the shower didn't drain, the entire bathroom flooded. Lastly, the tv clock would change time depending on if it was turned off or on. It would vary one hour, which was a little confusing around breakfast time. Also, bed was a little on the firm side (like board hard, but maybe it's a European thing). Overall, a really good price for a hotel that was a short ride from the city (25 minutes via bus for a very fair price). If we had a shower that drained properly, the stay would have been excellent. This hotel is several KM.s from the Airport and took 12 mins by Hotel Mini Bus at EUR 5 per person . Could not see much near the hotel other than car dealerships. Local Hospital nearby as is a bus stop to Venice. Good for late arrivals although hotel pickup not available much after 2230. We contacted hotel direct who were very helpful. Perfect for our last night in Venice. Very clean and comfy rooms, with coffee maker. Cold breakfast only had toast, coffee and juice but I hear at 7am it becomes a full hot breakfast buffett. Easy to arrange the shuttle to airport, and super nice to be able to confirm and print out our flight confirmations without a fee. Nice hotel, bed could have been more comfortable, restaurant not open on Sunday. Food was expensive but quite good. Location of hotel was a bit far out of Venice no other food available near by. Bus into Venice cheap and just nearby, but the day we used it it was way overpacked almost dangerous. Return journey was much better.

"Should have stayed here on our way back..."
We stayed at the Quid Hotel on our way to a cruise out of Venice. The hotel was very nice, the room very modern and comfortable, the staff was super nice, especially Monika at the front desk. The breakfast was delicious. On our way back from the cruise we stayed at a hotel in Venice that was almost 3 times more expensive and half as nice. "Great hotel, a touch far from Venice"
The hotel was clean and very North American. It is a cheap (3 euro) bus ride to Venice. The cab ride was $32 as the bus stopped running at 8 pm for our return. They have a shuttle to the airport at a charge. Great hotel, but if you want to be close to Venice or in the action, maybe not your best bet.

This Hotel is State of the Art! Art Deco all the way! The hotel is located a short local bus ride of 15 min. from the city of Venice. The reception staff was fabulous. We had a few situations with our airline and they literally bent over backwards to help us correct our situation and get us back on track. All of them spoke very good English . "Best Western Quid in Venice"
Hotel located in a commericial area. Bus stop right out front, however staff did not tell you how to get tickets for the bus, its not a pay on board system. Breakfast was not as inviting as most continental breakfasts I have experienced, no rolls, no hard boiled eggs, etc. Shower was modern design, no door, water ran all over floor.
