Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Großes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bei Zimmern nach hinten raus kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Internet fürs Zimmer zu teuer. Im Bad leichter Renovierungsstau. Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!

Das Hotel ist sauber und optimal in NYC gelegen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider entsrpach das Früchstück, wie in NYC üblich, nicht dem europäischen Standard, ist aber kostenlos und besser als in anderen Hotels in NYC. Ich kann das Hotel zu 100 % weiterempfehlen und werde es bei meinem nächsten New York Aufenthalt wieder in Betracht […] ziehen. Mehr
"Tolles Hotel an Top Lage"
Dieses tolle stadthotel bei dem die Top-Lage den Preis nach oben drückt, hat alles was man braucht. Relativ neu, sauber, geräumig, zweckmässig und freundlicher Service. Auf die Strase hin hört man Sirenen oder Müllabfuhr trotz guter Fenster ein wenig - wer empfindlich ist, ein Zimmer nach hinten wählen oder Ohropax bereithalten. Frühstück ist wie bereits […] oft beschrieben ein kleiner Witz, aber was solls - schräg vis a vis ist Bene und mit wenigen Dollar ist man gut gefüttert und hat top Kaffee. Ich empfehle es sehr. Mehr

"Top-Hotel am Times Square"
Alles Spitze, lediglich das Frühstück ist verbesserungsbedürftig: Plastikbesteck + Becher! Nicht genügend bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten und nur Angebot von Continental Breakfast. Sonst gerne wieder.

"Super Hotel, aber leider noch Baustelle"
Super Hotel mit sehr schönen Zimmern. Perfekte Lage am Times Square. Leider waren weder die Lobby noch das Restaurant fertig gebaut. Das "inklusive Frühstück" war ein Papbecher Brühkaffee und ein Brötchen auf improvisierten Stühlen in der Lobby-Baustelle (über den Köpfen wurde gleichzeitig gefräst). Schade, aber guter Tip für die Zukunft !

Everything was very new and clean and fresh smelling. The complimentary breakfast was good and the rooms were spacious.

A really lovely hotel - one of the best we have stayed in. High standards of service and cleanliness - staff always pleasant and very helpful. "High standards achieved with a few flaws..."
The hotel is in an excellent location, modern, clean and very comfortable. It really was very good, BUT I found the staff lacking enthusiasm and pretty much just getting on with the job. Smiles were few and far between. Breakfast was basic and NOT for someone who wants to cut back on carbohydrates. It could be so much better and a bit more inventive. […] Not all of us live off pasties, bagels and cereals. I will probably stay there again, but hope to a happier team next time. Mehr
This hotel is in the heart of Times Square which is where we wanted to be, yet it was very quiet and we slept wonderfully! The refreshments in the afternoon were a great touch and breakfast was ok. The coffee could have been better.

It was an overnight stay - four of us. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The room was fine - absolutely no complaints. The staff let us store our bags in their storage room both before we checked in and after we checked out because we wanted to tour the city for the rest of the day. "Good choice for Broadway"
Stayed three nights. Fabulous location steps from Broadway, theaters on the block, stone's throw from Times Square. Not noisy. Welcoming staff. Very nice room, but I did get a free upgrade. It was a time when hotel availability was tight, so I had to pay a high but not wholly unreasonable price. If you can get a reasonable deal at the time of your stay, […] definitely a good choice. We brought our two kids (15 and 10) for their first trip to NYC. The location was excellent - very close to Broadway/Times Square, but you could avoid crowds if you went the other direction. The hotel decor is cool - the 2 bedroom room was large - with a large closet, a microwave and kitchen sink area with good coffee maker - and the bathroom had a […] t.v., bathtub and separate shower with great pressure. A lamp switch was broken, but they fixed it immediately. The complimentary breakfast was great with cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very happy with this experience. "Pearl Hotel NYC - Modern, clean, great location"
Hotel seems fairly new and is right off Times Square in the middle of the theatre district. Surprisingly, though my window was right over the street with a major theatre, I didn't have any issues with noise. Huge room for Manhattan, with nice modern furnishings and large bathroom with good shower. There is an attached bistro, which I didn't try, but […] it's also close to lots of restaurants. Excellent stay...upon seeing I was with my 7 months pregnant wife, they upgraded us to a slightly larger room and bed...they were all around great the entire time.

I travelled alone and was made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was lovely with a balcony and relatively quiet - even though I was in the centre of N Y. The pearl hotel was beyond my expectations for New York City. This was our first trip to NY and had anticipated a very small room. That was not the case at the pearl and the shower marvelous! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Free breakfast was a total surprise. I didn't expect much considering it was free, but it was 1st quality food with […] a wide variety. "Great Hotel"
Very nice "boutique" hotel in a terrific location. Room was big, clean, and comfortable. Only negative was that the water pressure in the shower was light. The staff was polite and friendly. Great place for kids, with free continental breakfast and walking distance to many, many attractions.

"Pearl - great all round hotel"
This was our second time in NYC and the first in this hotel. We stayed for 5 nights. Had the best sleep of just about ANY hotel I have ever stayed in and we have stayed in A LOT!! Great location, friendly, helpful staff, high quality finish in our room and one of the best showers I have encountered in a hotel. We were on the second floor, which although […] had no view, had a small outside patio area with seating....this would be great in the right weather. This hotel is not cheap, but I think you would struggle to find better at that money. Free wifi as well. Considering our location it was VERY quiet in the room, which was amazing. Also, check out the free wine and cheese tasting daily. The smallest of issues were: the seating at the breakfast was mainly armchairs and coffee tables with only 2 actual tables, but hey.....this is hard to find anything negative! Mehr

Couldn't fault the hotel or the staff who were all friendly and helpful. Good choice for breakfast in relaxed surroundings. Great location - just a very short walk to Times Square and Central Park 5 minutes away. I would definitely use this hotel again.
"Worth every penny"
I thought I paid too much, but inthe end with the great continental breakfast and being so close to all the subways, I actually saved money. We were near Broadway, Times Square, Central Park, 5th Ave, Rockerfeller Center, Magnolia Bakery we never needed to catch a cab. Our broadway play, Book of Mormons" was 15 steps from our hotel. We ate at EE grill. […] I ordered a steak based on the reviews and was upset our waiter did not bring a steak knife. I proceeded to cut the steak until I could get his attention and the steak was so tender and buttery it sliced perfectly!! No wonder no steak knife. Upon departing instead of calling me a cab, they called me a private car for the same price. Not a big hotel but a lot of personal attention. Definitely going back! Mehr
"Great location for Broadway Theaters and Midtown"
The Pearl hotel is in the heart of the Broadway Theater district, and just a block or two away from the subway (the 50th St. and Times Square stations). It's an easy walk to the major shopping areas on 5th Ave. and Madison Ave. and convenient to a variety of restaurants, museums and other attractions. My deluxe queen room was large and on the quieter, […] back side of the building, and included a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The room price includes a generous breakfast with cereal, pastries, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. The staff were cheerful and helpful. There are a lot of people strolling past the area outside the hotel day and night and it seems like a pretty safe area. While the hotel is somewhat expensive, it offers good value for the money and I'd definitely recommend it. Mehr

"Family of 4 LOVED IT"
After reading other great reviews of the hotel, we booked it, having never been to NYC. My family (including boys age 13 and 9) loved it. Friendly, helpful staff. Appreciated the breakfast -- would've like some hot options (eggs, waffles) but we shouldn't be picky with a free breakfast! Especially loved that the windows opened in our room, allowing […] the city sounds to come into the room, adding to the NYC ambiance. The hotel was a haven to come back to after the hustle and bustle of NYC by day and night. There appears to only be 5-6 rooms per floor, and we never saw (or heard) another soul on our floor! The only "negatives" we had in our experience were 1) concierge told us to expect a $60 cab ride to Newark Airport, and in fact it was over $90! (Not their fault, but my husband was peeved) and 2) the cigarette smoke from passersby on the street often came in when the doors were opened for guests, and it would blow up to the second-floor area where breakfast/happy hour was served. Again, not the hotel's fault. NYC has more smokers than I've ever experienced, and they all stand outside doorways so it's hard to escape the smoke! I can't say enough good things about our experience. Having not been to NYC before, and having kids with us I was very apprehensive about staying in a good quality hotel, convenient and safe, to enhance our vacation, and we were not disappointed! Mehr
