Ausgesprochen angenehm, ruhig und erholsam für uns Mitt-Sechziger, aber auch junge Pärchen schienen sich dort gut zu erholen. Besonders freundliches und aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Alona Beach nur per Taxi erreichbar. Wir kommen gern wieder.

The reason I chose the Amarela Resort was because of the ratings and reviews from travel sites. It had an average 4 to 5 stars (5 bring the highest). The reviews were pretty accurate. My mom and I visted Bohol for the first time and wanted a quiet place to stay but with beach access. Amarela was really charming. It felt very cozy, warm and rustic. I […] was charmed by the very nice staff and beautiful garden. The path to the beach is really lovely and the grounds are kept clean. The food was fresh and delicious. We ate fresh fish almost every night (try the Lapu Lapu fish). The room was clean and I loved the amenities. I think they were made locally. I would recommend this place to others and I would stay here again. If you book, remember to call in advance to let them know that you will need transport from the airport to the resort. They are complimentary. If you are looking for nightlife, you will have to drive far as there is not a lot around the resort except other resorts. The Amarela is for the people who want to get away, relax and fall off the grid. Mehr

The hotel's quality of service was highly beyond my expectation. There was ease of check in and check out at the front desk. The concierge bring you to the room and explain how the room works and where to find stuff like the remote, the safe, the mini fridge, etc. They don't seem to stop cleaning- they clean the beach, the beach lounge. We stayed for one night during an overnight trip to Bohol where we did an island tour the first day and snorkeling the second and needed a place to spend the night. The resort was a great choice as it's quiet, the staff is great, and the rooms are nice. The staff throughout the stay were so nice and accommodating. They even extended our late check […] out another extra hour to help between our tour ending and our ferry ride back to Cebu. Our room was clean and a nice size with a balcony facing the ocean. It's not as modern as a 5-star resort, but it was nice enough for us. The air conditioning was strong and the bathroom is very nice. The infinity swimming pool is nice, but the beach is just OK. The white sand is really nice, but there is a lot of seaweed and the water is so shallow you can't really swim much even at higher tides. They do offer snorkeling gear for free to guests and there are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. But don't plan on snorkeling there. The food is really nice at the restaurant. We ate dinner the first night and then breakfast the next morning. The prices are very reasonable as well, especially for a resort. My only complaint is that they stated that the room was for 3, but the extra bed was definitely not up to the same quality as the main queen sized bed. And the bedding was not near as nice and didn't include a comforter (duvet) as they had for the larger bed. Mehr

Everything about that hotel was superb, except the reception of our TV which was not very good because of the cable connection in the wall that was not properly set up... But it's is only a small detail.

Hotel service is superb! From the time you arrive until you leave the hotel, the staffs are very accommodating and the service is heartfelt. I also like the hotel ambiance - very quite and exclusive. This hotel is highly recommended for those who are in honeymoon or in a romantic vacation.

nice place but i think your money should go farther in the Philippines. ordered a car to take us to alona beach. had to wait over an hour for it to come and of course, it was more than double what we were able to get a car for on our own for the return trip. staff is polite and friendly. complimentary snorkels and kayaks for guests and great snorkeling […] off the beach. The hotel is not on a busy beach, but has a nice quiet stretch with good swimming (if shallow) in front. The pool is small but very nice. The setting for the hotel was lovely, beautiful grounds and gardens with spectacular views from terrace dining area. I loved the unique wooden furniture of local design and the decor which adhered to Bohol style. The infinity pool was lovely, and coconut grove with hammocks for leisure near the beach was also very well maintained and charming. Rooms […] could have been larger, but were comfortable and bath was a good size. My kids appreciated the flat sceens with DVD player in rooms and excellent library of DVDs for use for free. My one complaint was the food, it was pretty average, and we did not have great service for the lunch, waited far too long and family dishes served with long spaces inbetween. The evening barbeque was pleasant. The taxi service did enable us to take interesting day trips, including a great snorkeling trip to a nearby island and reef. Had so much fun at Amarela. The staff were very helpful with everything. Superb location - quiet, beautifully landscaped, great amenities and aesthetically pleasing and relaxing. It was absolutely on its own - no other amenities around - There was a dearth of other travellers - however if you were looking for private moments a prying staff member was always around. The breakfast (English) was awful - You could have a choice of Bacon or sausage with your egg but not both. The same went for fruit - a fruit drink or a piece of […] fruit - a request for both met a swift decline. This is a jumped up 2 star resort at best - Alona beach is km's away and I am glad we transferred there - My recommendation would be to avoid The Amerello unless you are the type that would enjoy a holiday on the moon! The hotel is situated on a white shored beach. It is made of terrace architecture where the lobby is at the top and thw rest below. I found the room to be of decent size but didn't like the twin bed I was given. Internet is by wireless only in public areas. So if you want to work from your room our skype home, that's tough. Only the room are airconditioned. […] That can be an issue in very hour seasons. The food was decent and cheap. I had a lot of cocktails but later found that the mango cocktail I was drinking was made of bottled mango juice rather than fresh (considering the location, that was my expectation). The beach was lovely but I think that the hotel should make the effort of cutting and cleaning the sea weed as it was impossible to get into the deep end. The pool was just amazing. I had difficulty deciding where to stay in Panglao. People had lots of bad reviews for most of the obvious choices to consider along Alona Beach, so I was apprehensive about whether I was making the right choice. After staying there for 5 nights, I am pleased that I made a good choice. First, lets talk about the location. It is not along Alona Beach […] like most of the resorts. If you want to go to Alona Beach and think you may be able to just walk from Amarela to Alona Beach – you can't. This is pretty much impossible by road (very far, busy and dusty). If you are hoping to just walk along the shore until you get there, that is impossible - it took about an hour for us to walk to the end of the beach towards Alona, where we encountered a rocky piece of land that sticks out into the ocean and separates Alona Beach from this other beach; no way around that I could see. Getting to Alona Beach can be done by asking the front desk to fetch a taxi... it costs P400 which is a bit steep, and will be billed to the room automatically so you don't have to pay the driver or worry about tip. The taxi will drop you off at Alona Beach by a place called Aquatica. For the return trip, there were no taxis waiting there; you either need to agree on a time for the taxi to pick you up again, or contact Amarela by cell phone (I hope you have one) and say you need a taxi. Just be at Aquatica so they can find you. I was annoyed at first, but in the end this all proved easy to do. Now, all the excitement seems to be with Alona Beach, so you may think this is the superior beach. If your goal is to swim in the water, Alona Beach (all of it) is lousy for that. Just a few feet from the edge of the water, the sand turns into dark areas of vegetation and coral, filled with extremely sharp sea urchins. Even at high tide, you can't get very far or deep into the water before having to deal with the urchins. At Amarela's beach, you also have those dark areas and urchins, but they start much farther o Mehr

Amarela was a beautiful place, not quite a hotel, it had more of a B&B feel to it. The service was excellent at Amarela, they made sure that we had everything we needed. I was given everything I asked very promptly. The staff were very attentive to my son. The food could have been better, not very many choices. Amarela's location was not the best since it was far from other hotels and you needed to hire a car to get to the other hotels. The hotel is located very far from from the other hotels and the city. It is impossible to walk outside, the nearest village is 3-4 km away. It was just a short 1 night stay but my girlfriend and myself truly enjoyed ourselves. The place was clean, set in a quiet location and good for just chilling out and spending quality time together. We had the Amarela Suite which was very spacious and comfortable. Only 2 negative instances in my mind. 1. When the staff brought us to our room upon checking […] in, we could feel that the room was really really warm and hot air was gushing out when the door was pushed open. That didn't really help when the weather was already quite hot. So the resort could probably have the aircon on prior to our arrival (since standard check in is at 2pm). 2. We did not book out return tickets back to Cebu and saw that the resort does help to reserve tickets for the ferry. But upon checking with the front desk they do not offer such service, not able to help us do online booking for our ferry tickets. We had no choice but to check out early so that we can buy our return tickets in case it runs out. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Amarela and will definitely make a return trip next year, spending more time there with my girlfriend. Mehr

飯店處於安靜的海灘， 晚上隔壁有住戶還是其他飯店會有營火晚會， 但是不會吵到飯店住客， 飯店實際外觀也比網站上面的照片漂亮多， 每間房間都有陽台， 唯一不便就是太偏遠， 出門都要靠飯店接送， 可以跟飯店訂套裝行程，價格很合哩， 值得再住，但是價格就真的高了點， 因為房間數量少，可能也為了維持品質吧。

친절한 스탭과 편안하고 안락한 분위기. 조식이 뷔페식이 아니라 그점만 빼고는 100점주고 싶은 호텔. 객실수가 적어 객실대비 직원수가 많다. 주인장이 예술가인듯 곳곳에 조각과 페인팅, 작품들이 있어 멋짐. 책한권 가지고 비치에 가서 해먹에서 잠드는 호사도 누리고 밤에 바비큐며 풀장에서 받는 마사지. 아기자기한 정원. 또 가고싶네요

服务很好，免费机场接送，前台也很热情。房间不算大，空间比较紧张，不过基础设置倒是全面。酒店环境很好，有无边泳池、私人沙滩，沙滩边有吊床和躺椅。缺点，去alona沙滩比较远，酒店叫车居然要350比索，位置比较偏僻，自己也叫不到车。所以这家酒店适合不怎么出游，在酒店度假的家庭。另外价格，跟alona附近的小型酒店比，算是很高了

Te ofrecen excursiones como visitar otras islas en barquito, […] hacer snorkel o visitar las chocolats hill entre otros (todo super recomendado), la calidad de este hotel supera con creces en muchas ocasiones a hoteles que se supone que son de mayor nivel. We had a wonderful stay at Amarela. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and there are a lot of local specialities to choose from. The beach is clean and guarded so one can really enjoy the white sand and the turquise sea feeling safe.
