Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einem die Ruhe, die in Tokyo manchmal benötigt wird. Ablagemöglichkeiten sind sehr begrenzt, man muss aus dem Koffer leben. Ich kann das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen.

Dieses Hotel wird allen Attributen gerecht, die man japanischen Hotels gewöhnlich zuschreibt: unglaublich freundlich, sauber, in modernem Stil eingerichtet und trotzdem nicht klinisch schick! Wenn man länger bleibt, sollte man ins Auge fassen, dass die Zimmer klein sind Zur Station Suidobashi sind es 7-8 Min zu Fuss. Nach Shinkuju oder Shibuya braucht […] man seine Zeit. Die Lage ist aber keineswegs schlecht, nur nicht ganz zentral. Ein tolles Hotel zu vernüftigen Preisen. Empfehlung! Mehr

Great place to stay. Very quite and comfortable. I certainly would choose this hotel next time.

This is a great hotel in a quiet neighborhood. It is pretty new and the design combines traditional Japanese elements and modern concept. The only trouble is that the wifi did not work during the three days I stayed. The staff are great and they speak pretty good English.

Super cool entrance lobby and extremely helpful staff with very good English. The standard room was bigger than we expected. Double bed, desk, fridge, safe, wardrobe, stand for suitcase, bathtub and shower, loads of good quality details; gorgeous green tea bathing products, anti mist mirror, nice pyjamas and slippers. I think I'd rather stay at a hotel AT the train station, but this was only a couple of blocks away. It was nice and comfortable, average size for Japan standards and as with all the hotels I've been to in Japan - amazing service! I would stay here again! :)

The hotel is great... new, clean, comfy, classy. With 2 train stations within walking distance (impt as we had a 5yr old with us), you enjoy easy access to the JR lines as well as the metro lines. Plus it was in a neighbourhood with affordable eateries galore, eateries frequented by locals, not tourists. Would def return.

This oasis in the middle of Tokyo is one of those properties that stands out because of all of those intangibles that make for a memorable stay. Nice location near both the Tokyo subway and JR line. The room is neat and comfortable, but it's a bit smaller than we thought (Standard room). Service is good. The bathroom is fantastic. Great location. Near the JR station.

First, the only real negative is that the rooms are very small. The positives include (i) a friendly and professional staff; (ii) reliable and free wifi; (iii) easy access to a JR stop and the subway; and (iv) a very nice neighborhood a short distance from the center of Tokyo. This isn't the place for those who want a full-service, business-oriented […] hotel. Nor is it the place for a family in need of space. But it is a great place for those looking for a place to get a good night's sleep between active days in Tokyo. Mehr

The hotel niwa is an EXCELLENT value in Tokyo. The hotel is modern, clean and very cozy. The bathtub was simply enormous which is somewhat rare in Japanese hotels. Complimentary bottled water refreshed every day. There are several helpful amenities on site: access to a modest fitness room (treadmills and excercise bike) with a view of the roof top garden. […] The fitness room seems hardly used so there is little competition for machines. The relaxation room has two fantastic, state of the art massage chairs. I used them every day - they were priceless after a long day walking Tokyo streets. Also, excellent vending machine selections and coin operated laundry machines! If you've had to pay laundry fees at a hotel before you know this is a score. I never tried the restaurants, but they seemed full each night. The wireless access is only supposed to be available in the lobby, but it definitely extended to the six floor when I was there - super handy. The location is better than you think - 2 mins walk to Suidobashi stop on a JR line. One stop down from there in either direction and you can transfer to the Yamanote line which is the main circle sightseeing line in the city (note: be careful around rush hour as the rapid lines won't stop at Suidobashi and you'll have to walk from one stop up or wait for a local). Finally, the staff were extremely helpful, spoke English very well and remembered me from having spoken on the phone. Loved it! Mehr

The hotel is 3 minutes away from Suidobashi station, which is two stations away from Tokyo station. The decor was nice and staff was very friendly. Free wifi included in the room, which was convenient compared to other hotels (wifi was available in the lobby only). The bathroom was excellent with the "full" bath tub and amenities were great as well […] (most of other hotels had the short bathtub that was used for shower). There were lots of shops and convenient stores nearby in case you wanted a late super. Checkout time was 11AM - perfect for people who like sleeping in. I enjoyed staying here. Mehr

This hotel was wonderful with a great insight into Japanese hospitality. Restaurant was excellent, service was superior. Enjoyed the fact that it was not a mega hotel. Excellent establishment. Staff speaks English for those needing assistance.

This is a great little hotel tucked away in a small street not far from Tokyo's normal craziness!! If you weren't looking for the hotel you wouldn't even know it was there, it looks like a small office or apartment building. The room was small but standard by Japanese standards. The hotel has an in house resturant however i didn't go there but it […] smelt great walking past it. The hotel also has a nice little workout room and relaxation area with vending machines which was nice. The hotel is also a short walk from the rail network and Tokyo Dome. If your looking for a place which is in Tokyo but a little slowed down and not so crazy this is the one for you!! Mehr

I found out about this hotel on Hotels.com and after reading the reviews booked a room for two nights for a recent trip to Tokyo. I give this hotel a 5-star overall rating for amenities, design, comfort, service and location. The only 4 star rating was for the room comfort, because the standard room design was small-ish for western standards (approximately […] 18 square meters/180 sf), but this was also expected for a hotel in Tokyo. This made it a bit cramped for two people plus luggage. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would also stay there again in a heartbeat! The hotel design was beautifully done with attention to details and finishes. This included a small entry and courtyard garden. The room, while small, had a comfortably sized bathroom, and the bed, while small-ish to match the room size was extremely comfortable. The hotel staff were much as you'd find anywhere in Japan: extremely courteous and helpful. While I wasn't able to test their mastery of the English language (my companion spoke Japanese, and did most of the transacting), I believe they provide an adequate level for westerners. My favorite amenity was the 3rd floor lounge, which opened onto a small rooftop garden, and had an adjacent workout room (treadmills and exercycles). The lounge was equiped with massage chairs, which got much use by me and my companion, and were completely complimentary with our stay. This was truly a great find on Hotels.com, and found the price, ratings and especially the user feedback extremely helpful, that is why I'm providing my 2-cents on my stay. Mehr

Beautiful hotel that's both comfortable and stylish. Just wished it was nearer to the train station, not 4 blocks away.

So clean you could eat off the bath room floor. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Hotel is located in a nice area. Very quiet inside and out. Make sure to eat at least once in the Hotel restaurant, you won't regret it. I just can't say enough about how professional the staff was. We will be staying there again. This beautiful hotel has been recently redone and combines the elegance of traditional villas with high-tech modern touches. Trees and fountains soften the entrance to the hotel, set in a university district close to train and subway stations and to Tokyo Dome Hotel, which has a direct shuttle to Narita Airport. My single room was plenty roomy and beautifully […] appointed. The bed was very comfortable. At the head of the bed was a softly illuminated lightboard with a subtle forest effect. I had trouble finding the off switch (it's next to the bed near the desk). There was a refrigerator, pajamas of wonderful quality, a tea service, a flat screen television on the wall with directons I could figure out in English, so I could watch news. There was a writing desk with excellent lighting. The closet was fine. The bathroom was well lit and well appointed, with a large tub and shower. The lighting in the room was soft, but with small LED lights placed ideally for desk work and reading in bed. The outlets worked for my American appliances (except for three-prong plugs) without the need for a converter. The staff were hospitable and very warm and helpful, and most spoke very good English. Veldig fin beliggenhet, med korte avstander til mange av de interessante bydelene og attraksjonene i Tokyo. Også kort vei til t-banen. Relativt små rom, men velholdte og rene. Bra mat på den japanske restauranten på hotellet. Lite kjent hotell blant taxisjåførene, så et godt tips er å be conciergen/resepsjonisten skrive ned navn og adresse på japansk […] på en lapp. Mehr

特價時下訂滿不錯的, 靠水道橋 也還方便!

이미 다른 후기들을 읽어봤기 때문에 큰 걱정은 하지 않았다. 오후 3시쯤 호텔에 들어갔을때 기대 이상이었다. 항상 깨끗하게 정리 정돈이 되어있고, 주변이 시끄럽지 않아서 여행의 피로를 다 없앨 수 있었다. Tokyo에 출장이나 여행을 갈 일이 또 생긴다면, 주저없이 Hotel Niwa Tokyo로 다시 선택을 할 것이다.

아주 만족스러웠습니다. 호텔 전체가 굉장히 깔끔하고 편안하였습니다. 그리 넓지 않은 공간이었지만 효율적인 공간배치로 필요한 모든 것을 갖추었으며 일본 풍의 실내 인테리어는 여행의 만족감을 더하였습니다. 직원들은 매우 친절하였으며 도쿄돔, 오차노미즈, 아키하바라와 매우 가까워 여행 시 편리하였습니다.

Hôtel proche de la station de métro Sudobashi et à 10 minutes à pied du Tokyo dome city d'où part un bus pour l'aéroport de Narita. Quartier calme, petit déjeuner et repas à l'européenne.Chambre un peu petite.Le jardin intérieur de l'hôtel lui donne beaucoup de charme.

My room was a twin, quite spacious for one person. I ate breakfast in the grill bar on the first floor--it was very good with a mixture of Western and Japanese dishes. The one thing I hadn't realised was that my rate didn't include breakfast, so that was a little extra cost. Overall very happy though.

Maybe it was becase I was able to take advantage of their seasonal promotion that I liked everything about the hotel. I stayed in Shangri-la Tokyo and its quality in both services, cleanliness and phisical matters such as location, facilities, etc. was perfect and indisputable, but I was more satisfied with Niwa. It's because I paid 4 times more for […] S than N. Niwa was the best hotel among the four hotels that I used in Feb~March 2011. Mehr

This hotel was perfect for us (and we have quite high standards)! The location is fantastic, especially for holders of a Japan Rail Pass, as it is very close to a JR station (Suidobashi). Also, quite a few small restaurants around, if you arrive late and need to have a bite without going far. Rooms are small, but very comfortable! Just enough space […] for 2 people and baggage, but very efficient room plan. You do not feel the room is small. Bathroom is perfectly clean and comfortable. The whole hotel and room give out a sense of a much larger and more expensive hotel, while the design has some traditional touches that make this hotel special. Staff was also great. Even offered us a free umbrella (that we could keep) when it was raining. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Tokyo, especially if you can get a good price for it! Great satisfactory. I would stay again when I go to Tokyo.

Vi boede på hotellet i 6 dage i et dobbeltværelse. Helt nyt og dejligt hotel med god service og fine værelser, der er store i forhold til Tokyostandard. Hotellet ligger tæt ved Suidobashi stationen og i gå-afstand til Imperial palace, Tokyo Dome og masser af gode restauranter. Morgenmaden er ret dyr, hvis den ikke er inkluderet i prisen men rigtig god […] og man kan få både japanske og kontinentale retter. Personalet er venligt og serviceminded. Massagestolene på 3 sal er fantastiske efter en lang dag i Tokyo. Alt i alt et godt hotel til prisen og vi vælger hotel Niwa igen næste gang vi skal til Tokyo Mehr

소부센 스이도바시역에서 아주 가깝습니다. 호텔은 전체적으로 정갈한 분위기로 객실도 깨끗하고 아늑합니다. 주변에 오피스빌딩같은 니혼대학 건물들이 들어서 있고 경관은 삭막합니다. 직원들 적당히 친절하고 영어도 잘합니다. 호텔 내 식당은 매우 비싼편이이어서 이용 못해봤습니다.
