APA Hotel Kyotoeki-Horikawadori - Kyoto

We thought that this hotel was in a great location for what we wanted from our stay in Kyoto. We were doing day trips over to East Kyoto, a day trip to Nara etc. so it was great that it was near to Kyoto Rail Station & some good cheaper spots to eat in the vicinity - japanese pancakes, noodles etc & a supermarket less than 5 mins away. The SPA on the […] 11th floor is amazing, especially for the price that we paid for our semi double bedroom. (we slept fine in the narrower bed). Location was excellent just 2 minutes from Kyoto Station. But major problem was room size. Rooms are too small compared to other hotels/city rooms.

While this hotel was in an ideal location, the bed was as hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. Good for someone who prefers location over comfort. The lobby was incredibly smoky due to the attatched restaurant. Overall, I would rate this hotel as average.

Great location, Clean eviroment and lovely service. it would be my choose at my next kyoto trip.

I was a little shocked by the size of the room. But then again, we were only there to sleep. Location is good, it's a short walk from Kyoto Station.

Near Kyoto subway and bus station and easy to find. Near 24hr store but too far to the restaurants, cofee shop, etc. Easy to sleep due to the room is quiet and comfort but the bathroom is so small. Price is reasonable.

The rooms are the smallest of any hotel I've seen, anywhere, but it was very clean, very efficient, and overall very nice. Staying in such small quarters was more of a Japanese experience than if I had stayed in a large Western hotel. The hotel is very close to the Kyoto train station, which is a good starting place for sightseeing, buses, trains...but […] there's not much else in the immediate neighborhood. Other neighborhoods were definitely more active, so when I came back in the evenings after a day out exploring, I was in for the night. The bed could have been more comfortable, as other reviewers have mentioned, but after walking around all day, I still slept like a baby. It is a small bed though - if I were any taller than 6 feet, or a very large person, it would not have worked. The bathroom was compact, but it had the fancy Japanese toilet that does everything for you, and the whole place was very space-efficient. If you plan to spend a ton of time in your hotel room and want all the comforts of home, stay somewhere else...or stay home. If you want a good, inexpensive, well-located place to hang your hat at night, this is an excellent choice in Kyoto. Mehr

房间真的很小 虽然之前有心里准备 但看到的时候还是吓一跳 订的双人床其实就是一张单人床 交通还算便利 离京都站很近 去各个地方都很方便

酒店所处的位置确实太方便了，卫生情况也很好，就是大床房的面积实在太小了

位在京都車站步行10分鐘路程，交通方便，房間很小，除了通道跟床外沒有多餘空間，衛浴是FRP一體成型的小空間，但整體乾淨整潔，床跟棉被枕頭都很好睡，以這個價位算是不錯的選擇了。

小雙人房非常的小,會兩人肩並肩睡而床的軟硬度偏硬.使用空間非常有限,浴室也是屬於嬌小型,建議到樓上的大浴場會比較方便還可以泡湯.

房間很小，但該有的都有，離京都車站也很近，很方便

突然、関西に一人旅する事になり、初めは京都宿泊初めてパソコンでのホテル予約…色々挑戦の日々でした。アパホテルは一番最初に宿泊したホテルでしたが４日間の滞在で全てにおいて一番良かったです。従業員の応対、広さ、清潔感、…と言いますか不満がなかったんです！ただ欲を言えば、もう少し安いと良いな～と思いました。お値段も一番高かったのですが、泊まるだけなら少しでも安い方が良いですよね。もう少し安ければ毎回利用させていただきたいな！と思います！多分又京都行くと思うので！！その時は宜しくお願いしますね！次回も予約しちゃいそうな気がしますが(笑)

Rommet var veldig lite for 2 personer men det holder for 1 natt. kort avstand fra Kyoto jernbanestasjon. rent, vennlig personell som pratet bra engelsk i resepsjonen.

Our semi-double room was very small, but anything else was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful and everything was clean.
