Das Hotel sowie das Hotelzimmer und die Poolanlage waren sauber und gepflegt, allerdings scheint die Kommunikation zwischen den Rezeptionisten, die im Laufe des Tages und der Nacht wechseln, mangelhaft zu sein. So mussten wir unseren Wunsch, das Hotelzimmer zu wechseln (da wir ein anderes Zimmer bekamen, als wir gebucht hatten) mehrmals an der Rezeption […] äußern, denn während man von einem Rezeptionisten auf später vertröstet wurde, wussten die Rezeptionisten in den folgenden Schichten nichts davon und gaben ebenfalls unterschiedliche Informationen. Die Englischaussprache der Rezeptionisten war oft extrem schwer zu verstehen, was ich sehr schade finde. Das Frühstück könnte ausgefallener sein (wenig Auswahl, als Dessert gab es jeden Tag nur Wassermelone, Honigmelone und Joghurt). Dafür gab es beim Abendessen eine große Auswahl an warmen und kalten Speisen sowie Desserts (mehrere Fleischgerichte, Aufläufe und vegetarische Gerichte, verschiedene Salate, Schokoladenpralinen, Obst usw.), die alle sehr frisch und lecker waren. Abgesehen von der Rezeption waren wir mit dem Hotel rundum zufrieden und würden dort wieder ein Zimmer buchen. Mehr

Auch weil es ein relativ neues Hotel ist, ist hohes plus an Sauberkeit. Sehr nah zur Emirates Mall. Ca.500m zur Metro. Was auf jeden Fall zu bemängeln ist, ist der Service: Zimmer auf der Straßenseite und war echt laut. Kein verständlisches englisch an der Reception. Ein kleines Handtuch und ein großes Handtuch für 2 Personen.

Hotel liegt in guter Lage, zwischen Marina Dubai und Zentrum direkt an dem Einkaufszentrum Emirates-Mall. Dazu kommt die gute Anbindung an die rote Linie der Metro. Zum Flughafen braucht diese Linie zum Terminal 35min. Zimmer ok, sauber und im neuen Stil. Swimmingpool auf dem Dach auch sehr schön aber klein. Frühstück ist eher weniger zu empfehlen. […] Hoteleigenen Bar ist ebenso gut und mit abwechselnden Abendprogramm, dazu kommen 5 verschiedenen Sorten Bier vom Fass, aber wie überall in Dubai recht teuer. The location next to the Emirates Mall, and therefore near the Metro, was wonderful. The closest Mall entrance was at a food court, so we weren't tempted by the hotel's restaurant, and therefore cannot comment on that aspect. Because the room had a fridge we took advantage of the Carrefour (grocery plus) store in the mall. The beds were comfortable […] and we appreciated the late check out we had asked for. The only advice I would have for others is to watch your step in the tub when using the shower. The surface near the drain slopes towards the drain at quite an angle, but we got used to it fairly quickly. If there had been a rolled up rubber mat, I would have used it. Citymax was a great, clean and comfortable hotel in a good location very near to the Mall of the Emirates (about 5 minute walk). We stayed for 2 nights whilst stopping over in Dubai before a connecting flight. The hotel staff were efficient, and facilities were good (there are 2 bars and a restaurant). Only (minor) bad points - not enough pillows, we […] only had 1 each, and there was some noise from the bar on the ground floor (even though we were on the 9th floor) - but it didn't bother us that much. i stayed 2 nights and it was nice and relaxing compairing with the price you pay. walking distance of Mall of the Emirates which is one of the best malls in Dubai.

This hotel is modern bright and clean hotel 2 mins walk from the mall of the emirates. Rooms are not the biggest but had a comfy bed and was spotless clean. The two bars, including a sports bar are an added bonus. Would defo stay again and recommend to friends and family visiting Dubai.

Dubai is the new and upcoming tourist destination. The hotel should keep in mind that hospitality should be their number one priority. I got to the hotel at 7 AM since my flight was an over night flight. Despite requesting couple times, the hotel failed to provide me an early check-in as a complimentary service. I waited for 5 hours on their couch. The […] hotel itself is neat and clean. The view from the roof shows Burj Khaleefa , Jumeira hotel and Al Burj Hotel in the distance. Close to Mall of Emirates & metro, therefore well located as a base. Good value for the price band. The 2pm check in was not ideal especially when we arrived at 9am having had an overnight flight. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Good bar and club downstairs (bit smokey though). Would quite likely stay there again.

loved it, I traveled alone and got a room for 1 person but it was perfect It had a clean bed good decor, clean room a fridge, a safe big enough for a laptop to fit in.......good location , next to mall of the emirates (that's the mall with sky Dubai in it ) The walk to the metro was kind of long only because the hotell is at the back of the mall and […] the metro station is in the front of the mall and the mall itself is huge. I would recommend you this hotel , its nice , I got it for nice price. The one single room I took it. The pictures and the map location are exactly how they are in here in this website. Closer to the mall than was expected. Snall rooms but well appointed...staff lovely. Would recommend.

The room was small, but clean and comfortable, and you could tell that the hotel made an effort with the decor. It also seemed like a fun hotel with the bars and their activities (live band, salsa and karaoke nights, specials at the sports bar). Location was even closer to Mall of the Emirates than expected. It is nice hotel and location is good which is near to most of the shopping areas, the hotel is clean but they need to work more hard on it, also the service is good but they need to be more helpful with guests.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is close to the Mall of the Emirates, perfect for shopping and not as daunting as the Dubal Mall. Staff was helpful, booking my desert safari which arrived on time. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. The bar is great with a band playing every night.

The Citymax good hotel in the center of Dubai. Undoubted the best location and view from the window to Burj Dubai and Persian Gulf etc. Quite comfortable, the room was clean, service and maintenance are on level. The personnel of hotel very pleasant and polite.

The Citymax Hotel located Al Barsha Dubai is one of the best places to stay for convenience and shopping at the premiere MALL OF THE EMIRATES. This hotel is within walking distant of the Mall and of all of its great assets. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The bathroom does not have required gadgets The front office not very friendly,they say late checkout/in is possible but very stringent. We were allowed late checkout but were literally pushed out(may be it is a trick to make us hurry) I don't know they try to be friendly at the end Some how not comfortable

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Citymax Al Barsha. Check in and check out was almost too easy. All staff I dealt with were very helpful and answered all my questions. I stayed for a week and found the room more than comfortable especially for one person, and it was cleaned every day. There were no bathroom amenities except soap that said you could use […] for showering and washing your hair, which didn't bother me cause I always take my own toiletries. There are a few restaurants around and a 24hr Falafal place just opposite, and it is a 2 min walk to Mall of the Emirates which was awesome and the metro is about a 10-15 min walk and you get there through the mall and will take you to wherever you need to go. It cost 6.50 dirham one way to Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa and 11.00 dirham return. And I think you can even get to the airport using the metro and I would recommend you take it cause it's alot cheaper than a taxi which cost me 65 dirham but couldn't use the metro cause I arrived in Dubai too early and the metro wasn't running yet. Overall I had a fantastic stay and the hotel just made it better. I would definitly stay again! Oh and the pool was also lovely :-) Mehr

Very close proximity to Mall of the Emirates which offers a number of entertainment, shopping and eating options!!! Excellent rooms with comfortable beds although some may find the rooms abit small! Will definitely stay there again if I return to Dubai!

The rooms are too small to stay. It just suitable for single that want to sleep ..

Hotel excellent...Staff Excellent Customer Care...Reception Tops......Overall very Easy Hotel to stay at..... Only complaint is the chairs in the SPORTS BAR are very uncomfortable.........AND THE iNTERNET IS TOOOO EXPENSIVE.... BUT A GREAT PLACE......BUFFET IS ALSO EXCELLENT.

Citymax is a good economic basic hotel which was better than average for a budget hotel. The room was good-sized with desk, wardrode, fridge and coffee making facilities. The shower is very good, though water does splash out and you have to mop up before you step out. It is generally spotless though. Only a few minutes walk to the East Food Court of […] Mall of the Emirates. Only complaint is the whirl of the air-conditioning units, from somewhere. Mehr

The hotel is a brand new one. Good location. Had asked for an airport pick up but the car wasn't there and was made to pay for the same.Otherwise the property was great, courteous staff, good food.

brand new hotel - designed in the style of european low cost hotels: clean, modern but small rooms. Location is extremely convenient - 2 mins from MAll of Emirates, and 15 mins to Jumeirah beach area and marina. surrounding neighborhood is all business, so you should have a car, so you can drive to where you need to go.

This hotel is brand new, it only opened a few years ago. It is steps away from the Mall of the Emirates. You can see Ski Dubai from the front door. Inside the mall is the metro so you can get nearly anywhere fast. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The internet is for a fee.

Og så er der gratis kørsel til og fra stranden og man kan leje en "strandpakke " m parasol, liggemåtte og 2 badehåndklæder for kun DHM 25. Til prisen et rigtigt godt valg. God beliggenhed, pæne, rene værelser og god service.

Plus: Betjeningen var super, og de var rigtig flinke til at hjælpe i receptionen. Fedt at der er en sportsbar tilknyttet hotellet, hvor der konstant er top-fodbold. Derudover en bar/disko som også kan tilgåes lobbyen. Derudover er der lige op af Mall of Emirates, som er godt til at shoppe og handle i og hvor der afgår en metro fra. Minus: Væggende […] var ultra tynde! Vi kunne høre vores naboer snakker og deres tv, og næsten også deres Wc ture. Kan man abstrahere fra dette, samt den potentielle byggelarm udenfor vinduet, så er det OK. Pool-området er meget begrænset, og vi kunne ikke få pladser efter 09.30 om morgenen. Buffeten (morgen og aften) ville jeg ikke anbefale; dårlig mad, hvor man i stedet kan købe ind ovre i centret eller andetsteds. Det ligger langt fra Khalifa og Dubai mall samt resten af centrum. Ligger 15 min kørsel fra stranden, men de har en bus der kører 9.30 og henter dig igen, så det kan man benytte. Mehr

Es un buen hotel economico, ubicado al lado del Mall of Emirates y con el metro a menos de 10 minutos caminando. Internet es gratis y funciona decentemente. Muchos sitios para comer en los alrededores y un par de bares en el hotel con mucho movimiento en las noches. Si te disgusta el ruido, pide que te pongan en un piso alto y que la habitacion no de […] hacia la calle. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Extremt bra värde för pengarna på detta hotell. Vi bodde här våra 2 första nätter i Dubai och det låg 3 minuter från Mall of Emerates och tunnelbanan. Hotellet har en helt OK pool och bra solstolar. Bra med en person som jobbar där uppe också och sköter om allt.
