AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN - Lake Havasu City

The rooms have modern airconditioning. The motel has a guest laundry and the front desk man was very helpful.

The hotel is within the city area. It has clean rooms. Extra charge for pet is $5 per day per pet. We had 3 little chihuahuas and we paid extra $30 for the dogs for our 2 night stay. The free breakfast is not as good, its all carbohydrates & high sugar, their the cheap cinnamon, brownies pastries. We just needed a room for the night, and that is certainly what we got. At the check in counter there was an odd smell that was a little off putting. The man at the counter was pleasant enough, but only gave me one key even though he could see my husband with me. When we got to the room it was neat and clean, no complaints there. The bed was hard as […] a rock and so were the pillows, which made for an uncomfortable sleep. We were told to bring the ice bucket to the front desk for ice, however, there was no ice bucket to be found. We decided we didn't need it that badly anyway. There is a nice sized fridge and microwave in the room, as well as a table and 4 chairs if you do decide to have a meal there. Be warned that there is no hairdryer or iron in the room. They did provide the dryer when my husband went to the desk and asked for it. The walls are paper thin, but far enough from the street to avoid that noise. Unfortunately it wasn't far enough away to avoid our neighbors who had two extremely loud children at 0630. We could hear the slamming (constantly) of their door as well as the conversation they were having right outside our door. They did provide a "continental" breakfast, even though it says on the website that breakfast is not provided. We had plans to leave so didn't check it out. All in all, it wasn't a bad place, just not a great place. If you just need an inexpensive place to crash for the night, this would suit. Be warned that it is also not centrally located to anything in Havasu, it is out in the old section of town. Mehr

We are traveling around USA from Australia and just want hotels that are cheap, but clean and comfortable. The room was well kept and the location was ok. Breakfast however was nothing but apples and sugar filled packaged "cakes". Would recommend it however as it was good value for money.

Was looking for somewhere convenient to sleep and shower excellent. Lacks amenities but was clean and comfortable. Located near shops and easy access to highways. Was affordable would recommend for someone just looking for a quick stay. I go up often and will definitely stay again

Needs weather strip on door. To many bugs coming in at night. Other wise was a good room.

Hotel staff is very friendly. Hotel accomodations are basic, but clean and simple. Excelland location near shopping and restraurants.

So just figured I would throw it out there so none of you have the same problem I did. Anyways this hotel has a nice location downtown havasu about 2 miles from london bridge which is about all it has going. We showed up friday and we went in or room only to find dog hair everywhere my for you can clean a room better.so we go up to the front desk and […] they say well we can give you a room with a smaller bed . So we agree as long the room is clean. We get to the new room and the bed is tiny compared to the last and tr bathroom is dirty.so now we're starting to get upset so we decide okay lets just go get a refund and find another room. Long story short they wouldn't give us or money back but finally out third room was clean. You can go right down the street and find a way better quality hotel for just a few bucks more. I will never stay in this hotel our recommend it to anyone. Mehr

The location was great but the beds were very hard, no plug ins convenient to the bed . We did feel safe as only one way in and out right past the office the rest was all fenced.
