Frankly if I didn't have to be in Collingwood I would have left. The room smelled of urine - may have been some kind of deodorizer ; the caulking around the bath was split from the wall ; the front door was filthy - visibly marked with dirt/ grease ; handles were missing from the dresser. Clean , the staff very attentive but it is basic . The reality is it is good value for money. My true complaint would be the pillows truly left little to be desired and really you need more then one per person. On the whole its clean , quiet . basic and friendly . :)

the location of the hotel is great but the hotel itself need some huge renovation. the room smells and no towel rack in the bathroom. we brought our folding chair to use as towel rack in the bathroom and bed is so hard. the staff are great and very accommodating. the location i think is safe.

This is a basic motel. It was clean. It was small, but if you only need a bed to sleep on and a shower to clean in... this one is perfectly functional. Close to Collingwood City Center and close to Wasaga.

This is a no fills kind of place and at the price we paid, in season, we weren't expecting much. The room was clean and the staff courteous, but the bed was hard as a rock, the pillows flat, the air conditioner was inadequate and the shower stall (no bathtub) was too tight. I'll be honest i thought staying the night here would have been my biggest challenges but thank god it was the cleanest motel I've ever been to. It was amazing very clean,enough towells,has a BBQ grill, friendly staff and up all night. If you are thinking of staying the night at Wasaga Beach you should definitly consider staying the night here at Relax […] Inn Collingwood..best of luck guyss keep up the good work <3 Mehr

The only problem that we had with this motel was that they don't have a secondary lock like a chain that allows you to open the door only part way. It would be better to have a peep hole also. The comfort is great but the safety coul be better.

We had a pleasant stay in your motel last weekend.. The staff was most accomodating...although It was a cold wet weekend, our home away from home was very comfortable... We will recommend this to others next April, when the barbershop convention is taking place. A good overnight stay at a reasonable rate compare to other name brand motels in the area. With some renovation and ground clean up it will be a better accommodation.

My stay at the Relax Inn, Collingwood during the heat wave in September 2010 provided an air conditioned restfull sleep in preparation for going to the Collingwood hospital for a long test without eating anything. The low cost with good service made this as safer alternative than trying to drive an hour and a half without eating after a hot night in […] my home. It also overcame the problem of finding an alternate driver to get me to the hospital then wait all day for my care. The hospital is only ten minutes from the motel. I recommend this choice especially for elder persons since greater Cardiac Care in Orillia now serves the Huronia Area as well as other parts of Simcoe County. Vehicles can be parked right in front of the unit door for easy unloading. Chairs are provided outside with a pleasant view of a children's play area and trees. The good television made many chanels available for indoor entertainment. There was a small fridge and microwave for longer stays in this unit. The bedside table was very suitable for my C-PAP equipment essential for sleep aponea. Mehr
