Moon Hotel - Singapur

Sehr schickes Design Hotel mitten in Little India gelegen, das seinen Preis durchaus wert ist. Das junge, freundliche Personal, scheint passend zum "hippen" Anspruch des Hotels ausgesucht. WIFI sowie Minibar sind inklusive. Zusätzlich gibt es jeden Abend Cocktails z.T. auf Kosten des Hauses. Die Zimmer sind zwar recht klein, jedoch durch gute Platzverwendung […] optimal genutzt. Allerdings können die quasi nicht vorhandenen Abstellflächen bei Doppelbelegung (zwei Personen) nach einigen Tagen sehr nervig sein. Das Frühstück im kontinentale Stil verzichtet fast vollständig auf eine asiatische Note, eigentlich schade. Das Hotel liegt optimal zwischen den MRT Stationen Bugis und Little India, die fussläufig in 5-10 Minuten erreicht werden. Mehr

Das Executive Zimmer war super, hatte leider kein Fenster, aber da man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, um sich SIngapur anzuschauen, und eigentlich nur zum Duschen und Schlafen im Hotel ist, hatte ich kein Problem damit. Das Bett liegt sehr tief, was für manche Leute ein Problem sein kann. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt, es gab immer frische Handtücher […] und die Getränke (im Preis inkl.) wurden jeden Tag aufgefüllt. Frühstück war okay, es gab eine gute Auswahl und frisches Obst und frischen Salat. Die Umgebung ist super, Little India kann man sich ganz gut tagsüber oder abends zu Fuß anschauen. Es sehr interessant. Nachts ist es sehr sicher, man brauch keine Angst habe auch mal durch eine dunklere Straße alleine zu laufen. Viele andere sehenswerte Viertel sidn zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Neues Trendhotel, gut gelegen in Little India und 10 Min zu Fuß entfernt von der Metro. Entgegen der Buchungsangaben gab es ein kostenloses gutes Frühstücksbuffet und auch die Getränke in der Minibar waren frei! Die Zimmer allerdings waren sehr, sehr klein, dafür aber das Bett und die Kopfkissen ein Traum. Wir waren echt rund um zufrieden!

50% der Zimmer haben kein Fenster (Bunker). Alle De Luxe Zimmer fallen darunter. Keine Andeutung im Angebot. Das Bett ist über einen Gang von 1nem Meter zu errichen und liegt auf einem Betonsockel (40 cm hoch). Die Matratze ist auf dem Sockel frei aufgelegt. Will man ins Bett rutscht die Matratze weg. Das Bett liegt vor einer Glasscheibe die den ganzen […] Raum einnimmt. Mann liegt also neben der Straße, für jeden auf der Straße einsehbar. Für eine ältere Person mit 100%iger Gehbehinderung eine Zumutung. Die Klimaanlage liegt direkt im Bettbereich, entweder zu kalt oder zu warm. Das neueröffnete Moon Hotel liegt mitten in einem der farbigsten Stadteile von Singapore, Little India. Wenn es einen Kritikpunkt anzubringen gibt dann betrifft dieser die Grösse der angebotenen Zimmer. Die Standardzimmer sind wirklich sehr klein und zudem fensterlos, mit etwas Gepäck wirds bald einmal sehr eng. I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel. My room, although a little small was well equipped and even included cool things like an iPhone dock with alarm, and everything in the minibar was complimentary. Bathroom is equipped with rain shower. The highlight has to be the super comfy bed! Very good value and excellent location. Will definitely stay here […] in the future. Mehr

This hotel is located in the middle of Little India, in a busy not fancy area. It is quite new a in quite good quality. The rooms are funny, because beds are located on a frame in Japanese style, so you can´t walk around your bed. This was a bit ackward at times - but I managed to have a good stay. The room also have no windows, so you have no view. […] There is good aircon, but you will need to contact reception to get it switched off if you don´t fancy wind in the face while sleeping. Bath is great and breakfast reasonable good. It is not really a business hotel, but if you like smaller cosy hotels with good service or if you travel with you girlfriend/wife this is a great choice. Near the MRT The room is tiny, but too small

- The room is clean and confortable - Though the room size is a bit small, it is still enough - Its surprised that the drink in the room is free. - The breakfast offered can't say so perfect, but still nice for a good start of a day - The service is good and staffs are nice - Overall experience is nice

front desk staff not frendly

I relocated to Singapore from the US and stayed here for almost 2 weeks. Very conveniently located, a couple of blocks from Little India (lots of restaurants), Sim Lim electronics and 2 malls, 1 block from a bus stop, about 5 blocks from the Bugis MRT station and on the corner are 2 Asian food courts (hawker areas). the hotel is clean and it was ok to stay

I went to Singapore on primarily business and a little vacation at the end. This hotel was absolutely superb. The service is amazing, some of the nicest hotel staff I've met, and I've traveled A LOT around Asia/SE Asia. The room itself was small, like any room in Singapore though. Probably a little smaller than most though I won't lie. But lets be real, […] you didn't travel to Singapore to stay in your room and watch TV. Although small, the room is great - super comfortable and has everything you need. I'd say its perfect for a single person or a couple. I wouldn't suggest kids. The neighborhood is my fave neighborhood in Singapore, right in the middle of Little India. A plethora of food and shopping at your door step. The food is absolutely phenomenal. 5-10 min walk to either Bugis station or Little India station. Walking to Bugis market is also quite convenient. If you're coming to Singapore to see Singapore this hotel is great. Even for business, I loved it. I stayed at another hotel that was more 'businessy', but the bad part was that there was barely anything at its doorstep. At least with Moon hotel you're always entertained with things to do in the neighborhood. Also the rumors are true. FREE drinks in the lounge between 5-7pm, and FREE drinks from your mini-bar, just a extra treat. Mehr

A modern hotel in Little India, and interesting neighborhood. We had breakfast included, standard but good, fresh juices and coffee. Our room was on the top floor at the very end had a window front, so we could see nicely some of the city skyline. We got this room likely because we arrived really early; other rooms do not have a window. There is a distinct […] smell of humidity in the corridors, which in the room is only subtle. The air condition could not be switched off, which seems to make sense in the tropics, but it was blowing right onto the bed. Hence it was quite chilly in the night. The hotel was great for a short stay and is within walking distance to two MRT stations ie Bugis and Little India. Its close to shopping areas etc. The room I stayed in didnt have a window - for those who dont have a problem with this then the hotel is great. I stayed in a standard room. Service was alright. Must say the interior design was brilliant and the room was really comfortable, far exceeded my expectation for the price quoted.

Moon Hotel in Singapore offers good value for money, it's newly built and offers fantastic services. Your basic room package includes all air con rooms, free wi-fi and free breakfast. And don't miss out on the free breakfast downstairs in the morning it's truly delicious. One of the things you do notice when you enter your room is the clean, newly design […] room. One of the cons is the rooms are small for families with little kids, but for singles with no mobility issues are perfect and good value for money. Surrounding the hotel is little India, you public transport is available on hand, with the train station only about 5 minutes walk. With the hotel being new, taxi drivers aren't familiar with it, just mention it's on Dickinson Rd, Little India. I would definitely stay here again, but if I had kids might opt for a bigger room, otherwise it offers you everything you want from a hotel. Mehr

New/renovated hotel in Little India. In the middle of two different metro stops and pretty far to walk from both of them. The hotel itself was nice, breakfast was good and they served free drinks in the lobby 5 pm - 7pm. The minibar was also complimentary. Very, very small rooms without window. The hotel was really clean, updated and had some nice desing and details. The rooms are unfortunately terrible small. We were only on a stop-over and couldn´t even open our luggage well in the room. It was alright for one night, but if you stay longer I imagine the space causes problems. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Modern, clean - small but comfortable. No fuss hotel with a good design

Clean hotel, very small rooms, but nicely done. Breakfast included, but a basic continental style. Free mini bar and happy hour between 5 pm and 7 pm. % drinks per person in the room. Did not partake but looked fairly complete if terms of what was offered. 10 minute walk to the MRT station, from there all else is easy. Based in Little India. Clean - service functional - but a room so small that I struggled to open my suitcase.

Small but comfortable room with great bed! Very quiet location and helpfull staff. Excellent free breakfast + great coffee. Never tried the free pm cocktails unfortunately! Room would benefit from a few storage hooks etc. Its a bit out of the way - few 100 meters walk to metro but not too bad.

Staying at Moon Hotel was a cozy and comfortable experience for me. I liked there and if I get a chance to visit Singapore, I would choose Moon Hotel no doubt.

Fair price, great staff, literally right in the middle of Little India. We loved it. Just don't bring too much luggage!

It was nice and comfortable, the room was cosy, clean and the bed is big and comfortable. There were even complimentary drinks! The only bad thing is that it is hard to locate the hotel. Otherwise it's really great! Wouldn't mind going back again

Me and my wife stayed at Moon Hotel for 2 nights during our recent visit to Singapore... We had planned our 11 night holiday on our own and had researched a lot on hotels before we finally booked our hotels... Moon Hotel was everything that we saw on the website and thought it would be. It was extremely chic and ubber cool and ultra clean. The staff […] is young and very helpful. There is a complimentary mini bar free wifi access. Also the hote provided 5 free cocktails during our stay !!!! With lot of freebies.....We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Moon Hotel.... We could find europeans, indians, Chinese, Japanese and americans occupy rooms in the hotel... The bathroom however is a see through bathroom and one could see people taking a bath...So if it bothers you then you should think about it....I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples..... Its approximately 600 meters from Little India Station and 800 meters from Bugis... Mehr

Because there is no sign that stick out to the street you might have problems to find it at the first attempt. The hotel is quite new and has a nice furnishing. The breakfast and the free minibar are almost prefect.

Free breakfast and mini bar is very good. A little bit small room but cozy room. Room have not windows. My point is 3.5/5. Single traveler or two members will be good choice.

Moon Hotel is a good hotel. The room is small, but clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is also very kind. I would like to recomemnd other people to stay at this hotel. Internet, breakfast and minmibar are free

i have never been a great singapore fan. being an older traveller i can remember when singapore was less sterile and much better value for money. last week i had to come to singapore for work after having avoided it for 10 years. The budget and the fact it was rip-off time i.e. the Singapore grand prix forced me to look for affordable accommodation […] - as there were 6 of us. I looked at the Moon Hotel and read the reviews. Basically since there was little choice we came here but boy I am glad were weren't paying £300 per night elsewhere. I actually found the concept both cute and very practical. Sure the rooms are small and there is no window (at least 2 of the group did have one with a window) but it was very practical in its layout. Even those who say a case is a problem are exaggerating. A case can easily fit on the floor between the wall and the bed. And water going everywhere in the bathroom - well a shower screen would be nice but only messy people put water everywhere. And we found the staff really helpful. Our booking was slightly messed up by the online company but they worked through things. The free drinks and nibbles do exist - for the drunks among you can get 5 bottles of stella artois plus a further 2 cans of san miguel all for free. And breakfast was more than passable. We were there at 8. At most hotels if you go for breakfast at 10 you are struggling to get premium service. The big plus for me is that the moon is in the little india area and arab street and bugis are not that far away. I had forgooten those parts of singapore where there is some culture. There are two hawker stalls close by and tow quite reasonable supermarkets so everything you need. No need to go to Orchard Road unless you have loads of money. Buy a card to travle around and get it charged up. Don't buy one of those visitors passes they are a rip off. You have to pay a deposit for a card and charge it up. Short distances in the city cost about 80 cents per trip - a far cry from Mehr

We needed a hotel for one night as we were transiting through Singapore on our way back home. We did our booking at the very last minute and were guided mainly by the room rate, which was very interesting and included breakfast. On arriving there, we had some apprehension due to the location in the Little India area, known for cheap n creepy hotels, […] but were very pleasantly surprised by the fresh look, contemporary design, comfort of rooms and young welcoming team. Our room was tiny and had no window, though, but still it was okay for one night stay for a couple. The continental breakfast was also very nice with a choice of danish and jam. We really appreciated our short stay there, but as we haven't had a look at the size of other rooms, we don't know if we would go back there for a longer stay, but definitely worth the price. Mehr

The hotel is trendy and facilities are good. However, I think the standard room is too small for the Western people. And it is suitable for couple only as there is just glass between the bathroom and the bed. The bed is extremely comfortable and big enough!!!!!

The hotel was nicely furnished and maintained. But my room didn't even have a window. My stay was short and just overnight. There were no ramp up to the main entrance of the hotel check-in lobby. This reasonably well done redo in Little India is best for one guest with one small bag. Breakfast is nice - fresh with great coffee! Price is excellent for Singapore. Wall to wall very comfortable bed is too big for the room. Focus of the recent renovation was on aesthetics - little thought to maximizing functionality of a miniscule space. Many rooms […] are windowless with just sufficient extra area for a toothbrush and change of socks. Individual new A/C is quiet and efficient but runs incessantly blowing on the bed or ones head. No fresh air means slightly stale scent. Unventilated small closet/table will cook your electronics if stored in the safe above the refrigerator. Hanger bar in "closet" has no room for hanging clothes. Highly recommended if you are <75kg <1.75M <40 years old. Sufficient space for only me or my wife to move at a time. Excecutive room hade inga fönster, men väldigt bekväm säng och fräscht badrum (med glasvägg mot rummet). Bra frukost om man kommer tidigt, och trevlig stämning på eftermiddagarna emd gratis drinkar i lobbyn. Riktigt bra indisk mat i närområdet.
