Wir genossen den einwöchigen Aufenthalt sehr. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir frühstückten jeden Morgen ausgiebig unter Palmen bei angenehmer Hintergrundmusik im Garten vor dem Hotel. Jeden Abend spazierten wir an der Küste entlang ins Zentrum/Hafen zum Abendessen. You could quite easily miss this hotel as it is nestled behind a dominating hedgerow with a entrance gate harking back to the Secret Garden. A defining feature of this […] hotel is the friendliness and and efficiency of the staff. Having stayed earlier in our trip at a hotel in Heraklion where locating a member of staff was a challenge, and once found, trying to get them to help you was even more so, it was a delight to have such friendly individuals. The rooms themselves are clean and quiet, and from my extensive experience, this is vastly more important that whether they have ipod docks or flat screen tvs - which they don't before you ask. There are lock boxes available at reception for EUR 2 / day (added to the room) which we found sufficiently secure due to 24hr reception staff. The hotel will book trips on request, with a bus or car picking you up straight from the hotel. It is a pleasant 20 minutes walk from Hania Old Town, a route that we walked late at night for five nights and never had a problem, so if you are looking for somewhere out of the usual bustle and away from the typical tired tourist spots then this is certainly worth considering. The hotel is situated in not a very busy part of the town so one can get good night sleep. Town centre around 20 min walk. This hotel exceeded all our expectations! Loved loved loved it! We stayed two nights at this hotel. My husband's family used to live in Chania, so this trip was very important for us. As we were traveling in March, it was completely empty but the staff greeted us very warmheartedly. We were the only two rooms staying at the hotel but Kostas and the […] other lady(sorry I cannot remember her name, she's tall and blonde, has a wonderful smile) prepared a lovely breakfast for us every morning. The Greek yoghurt and different jams were to die for. It was plain but fresh and lovely. Here is a list of pros and cons of this hotel for you: Pros 1- The hotel was the former British Consulate Building, so it is completely imperial with high ceilings, old photos, antique carpets and rustic furniture where ball room and dining rooms are still on display. 2- The service is personalized and very warm. Top notch! 3- The hotel has a private parking space where the key is provided during your stay. Feel safe! 4- There is personal air conditioning in the room. Cons 5- It is quiet however it may be busy during summer months. The floors have long corridors where the rooms are next to each other. There is one elevator which may be busy with a group departure. There are at least 50 rooms in this hotel. 6-It's not in the heart of the old city. I will recommend this hotel for the people traveling with their own cars for convenience. It takes about 15 minutes to walk down to Venetian District. Mehr

På perfekt promenadavstånd från Chanias hamn ligger denna pärla. Mysig slottsliknande interiör med en exteriör som en herrgård i miniformat. Mycket vänlig och omtänksam personal. Rena, fina och ganska stora rum. Vi stortrivdes!!

A 15-20 min andando del centro de la ciudad. Fantástico en todos los sentidos, servicio, desayuno, atención al cliente, diseño y ambientación del hotel y habitaciones....Totalmente recomendable y un ambiente muy especial.

I difetti sono: il cancello stretto del parcheggio per entrare dal retro e la distanza dal centro di Xania ( 20 minuti a piedi, con il ritorno in salita...).
