In Boston ein unschlagbar günstiges Hotel. Man bekommt für sein Geld ein sauberes und vor allem geräumiges Zimmer mit Küche. Pool, Fitnessstudio etc. sind vorhanden. Zu Fuß sind es ca. 20 Minuten bis in die Innenstadt.

Das Hotel liegt etwas weiter draußen gleich hinter dem Navi-Yard mit dem gleichnamigen Segelschiff. Die Gegen ist sehr ruhig - wenn man abends etwas unternehmen möchte, tut man das anderswo. Pluspunkt: neben Kühlschrank auch eine Mikrowelle vorhanden und ein Supermarkt befindet sich gleich in der Nähe, wo man alles wesentliche bekommt (inkl. frischen […] Kaffee). Nächste U-Bahn Station ist "North Station", ca. 20 min Spaziergang dorthin. Insgesamt preiswert, wenn man die Entfernung zur City in Kauf nehmen kann. Sehr großes helles Zimmer mit King-Size-Bett (ca. 2 m breit), Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine (mit Kaffee), WLAN gratis, funktionierte sehr gut, Großer Fernseher, Zimmer war sehr warm, Fenster kippbar, funktionierender Ventilator vorhanden, Klimananlage lief nicht. Das Hotel war in Ordnung, wenn man sich darüber klar ist, dass sich das Komfortniveau im Bereich einer Jugendherberge bewegt. Wer mehr erwartet ist falsch. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. In anderen Städten, z.B. Washington, kann man für den gleichen Preis wesentlich besser wohnen.

Das Hotel hat ein sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Die Lage ist zwar nicht mitten in der Stadt aber mit der Fähre aber auch zu Fuß ist es kein großes Problem die Innenstadt zu erreichen. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wir haben das Hotel für einen 3-tägigen Boston Besuch gebucht. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in dieser Nähe zu Boston Down Town ist es recht günstig und hat eine tolle Lage, nahe am Boston Navy Yard, USS Constitution und Bunker Hill Monument. Boston selbst kann man in 20 min zu Fuß gut erreichen. Dafür muß man Abstriche im Komfort machen, das Hotel […] ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück gibt es nicht. Es gibt aber in der Nähe gute Möglichkeiten einen Kaffee und ein Sandwich sowie einen kleinen Einkaufsladen. viel besser als man anfangs meint, preiswertes Kaffee mit Backstube keine 30m weit weg, kostenloser shuttelbus, alle 15Min. zum Nord-Bahnhof, Stadt auch zu Fuß gut errreichbar, tolle waterfront zum spazieren, Lebensmittelgeschäft usw. Buslinie 93 fährt nur zur vollen Stunde die Hafenlinie am Hotel vorbei. Viele junge Leute im Hotel, da sich Schulen, […] Krankenhaus, ec. in der näheren Umgebung befinden. Das Hotel liegt außerhalb des Stadtzentrums am Navy Yard; witzige Anbindung zur Innenstadt per Fähre (alle 15 min zu den wichtigen Zeiten, 10 min Fahrt). Es gibt keine Frühstücksmöglichkeit, dafür Zimmer komplett mit Küchenzeile und Bäckerei schräg gegenüber jeden Tag ab 7 Uhr offen. Wir waren schon das zweite Mal in diesem Hotel, da andere Hotels in Boston einfach zu unverschämt teuer sind. Die Lage ist sehr gut, wir haben alles in Boston zu Fuß erreichen können. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Parken ist recht günstig -6$ pro Tag - andere Hotels verlangen 40$..... Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

Das Constitution Inn in Boston wird vom YMCA betrieben, was vor Ankunft nicht ersichtlich war. Wir waren 2 Nächt dort! Nach der ersten Nacht kein Zimmerservice! Die Einrichtung ist sehr alt und abgewohnt! Die Couch in unserem Zimmer sah aus wie vom Sperrmüll! Nie wieder!

YMCA-Hotel am Ende des Freedom-Trails in Charlestown. Innenstadt ist mit der Fähre für 1.70 USD (Stand 2011) pro Fahrt sehr gut innerhalb von 20 Minuten zu erreichen (Fähre fährt von 7-20Uhr ca. alle 20 Minuten). Hotel liegt zwar etwas ausserhalb, aber durch den direkten Hafen mit Fähre ist man in ca 10 Min mitten in der Stadt. Grosse Zimmer, mit kleiner Küche. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. PC kostenlos. Sehr ruhige Gegend. Supermarkt, Kneipe und Restaurants aber direkt um die Ecke.

Eine preislich akzeptable Unterkunft, die für einen Citytrip durchaus akzeptabel ist, auch noch die Nähe zur Innenstadt. Die zu Fuß durchaus auch noch zu erreichen ist. Aber auch mit dem öffentlichen Verkehrsnetz. Ein kostenloser Shuttle zur North Station in Boston geht gleich um die Ecke vom Hotel ab. Leider gibt es nicht sehr viele restaurants in […] der Nähe. Nettes Hotel mit guten Standards. (Free W-Lan, Fitness etc.) und gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Lage ist interessant, daher sollte man sich den Fährplan für die F4 Fähre downloaden, dann kann man stressfrei eine atemberaubende Überfahrt nach Downtown genießen (Leider fährt die Fähre nur bis 20:00 Uhr). Das Constitution Inn ist ein sehr einfaches Hotel, das aber für einen Städtebesuch Boston absolut reicht. Die Zimmer sind zwar dunkel, aber sauber und gross. Das Bad ist eher klein aber auch sehr sauber. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums aber ein Shuttle fährt regelmässig zur nächstgelegenen u-Bahnstation und von dort ist man in wenigen Minuten […] im Zentrum. Man kann auch zu Fuss laufen. Es fehlt eine Bar im Hotel, wo man noch etwas sitzen oder einen Nightcap nehmen kann. Mehr

The room was clean but well worn. We were looking for a 1 night stay and this did the trick. The 1 elevator is really slow and lack of vending machines definitely worked against it.

I design & build houseboats, and needed a hotel near to the marina where I was overseeing the final launching of a client's new, 2-story houseboat in east Boston. The Constitution served my location requirements. But, overall, it was a modestly disappointing experience. Main point? Probably the most money I've paid for this little in overall ambience […] and moderness. It just seemed...tired. No designated parking (good luck finding a space along the street). S-L-O-W elevators. The first 2 rooms I had were stifling hot, and the A/C didn't work. The 3rd room they put me in had great A/C. But if it had been crowded, and no extra rooms available to relocate me into? Yikes! I travel all over the country for my work, stay in lots of hotels (Seattle to Miami, Boston to L.A.). And this just seemed like about a $100 room...but priced at twice that. Then again, it's IN Boston, and that no doubt explains the price. But, just the week before, I'd rented a lovely, 2-bedroom/2-bath, kitchen-and-livingroom, 2-floor apt. only 2 miles from the Constitution for $200 per night. (Unfortunately, NOT avail. for the 2 nights I stayed at the Constitution.) And so it goes . . . . Mehr

I stayed here after a car show with my husband.... And we were surprised that they had no parking and you have to walk like a block to park your car in a garage that did not even belong to the hotel.... It was nice and cozy... Very vintage but 3 of the vending machines didnt work.. And there is no good delivery places close by or if there was they did […] not deliver.... I do have one complain about theyre accomadations book... Most numbers of restaurants did not work and they prettt much had to update it alot!!! Mehr

If you are looking for a clean room (yes, the building is older but the room was immaculate - thank you Housekeeping!) and all the amenities (great location, kitchen, gym, indoor pool, laundry, library, snack machines) without frills at half the price of hotels across the water, this is it. If you are a clean freak, this place probably isn't for you. The place needs some TLC and the cleaning isn't superb. However, it was nice being at a hotel that had a free shuttle running nearby every half an hour, which takes you to and from the subway so you don't have to fork out money for a taxi. The hotel was a bit out of the way, but there were some good restaurants nearby. Also very close to the river, so lots of nice walks. The initial appearance of hotel wasn't outstanding, but the gym and pool were good. Room was very spacious with kitchenette and clean.

after being told to stay in our hotel, because of the lock down and that an extra night would be honored because due to FBI lockdown we should not leave, we would later told at 12:30 we needed to check out because we did not have reservations to stay another night.....we would kicked out basically with no place to go, as we had no transportation

Cheap but you get what you pay for. The accomodation is very basic but the room was clean. The location is excellent with a short boat ride to central Boston. I am sorry, but the "service" - if you can call it that - is indifferent. Staff members - and we had dealings with several different people - seem totally demotivated and in some cases outright […] rude. The hotel staff isn't very helpful and you shouldn't expect them to go out of their way to help you or answer questions very thoroughly. Rooms were clean, if not a little small and outdated. Great towels, but unfortunately not much hot water! No parking on-site, and the parking garage several blocks away is cash only (which wasn't mentioned anywhere […] and none of the staff indicated when I asked)! For a hotel so close to the airport without on-site parking, I'd expect a shuttle service, but none exists. This hotel is fine if you don't expect much in amenities or service. Mehr

If you do not expect too much you won't be disappointed. The location is not as convenient as they would have you believe. There was no air conditioning and the hotel is connected to a YMCA so the smell of chlorine and the pool is prominent.

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at for the price. We got a really great deal with the deal of the day. The suite we stayed in was a welcome relief after a very long, cramped train ride. The USS Constitution was only a few blocks away and the neighborhood was very nice. There was a shuttle a block away that took us to the airport. My daughter […] left her nook there and did not notice for a few days that it was missing. I stayed for one-night at The Constitution Inn as a stop-over before my onward journey. The hotel was very easy to reach by Taxi from the airport. I booked the hotel online as a promotional offer and was concerned that it would be a cheap-out-of-the-way hotel. However, I was pleasantly suprised. While this hotel is a little off the beaten path, we found the location to be very convenient. There is a shuttle that picks you up one block away and takes you to north station where you can take the subway almost anywhere in the city. The ferry is also fairly close, and it is just a short ride to the aquarium. I found the hotel to be clean and the […] staff to be helpful, although some staff members were a little rough around the edges. We enjoyed the YMCA facilities being on-site. I enjoyed the exercise equipment, and me and my five-year-old had fun in the pool. Our room was equipped with a full-size refrigerator and microwave, which was helpful in heating up our leftovers. Although it would have been nice if our kitchenette had some dishes and cutlery, I was able to get some plastic utensils and cups from the front desk. Overall, the hotel wasn't anything fancy and could use some updating. Nevertheless, based on the great rate that I got for this room, I would stay here again. Mehr

Although conveniently located and great price, I had to pull the guest out and put them up at the Millenium Hotel....room was not clean and stains on the mattress. Sorry, I love Charlestown, but would not stay at this hotel.

After arriving on a red eye flight, the Constitution Inn did let us check-in early without having to pay extra, which was a plus! The biggest problem with our stay is lack of sleep because of noises. We stayed on the top floor next to the stairwell and heard the stomping of people constantly coming up and down the stairs all throughout the night along […] with very loud and startling banging noises that sounded like the slamming of doors all throughout the night as well. It was very annoying. The fridge in the room also made loud gurgling sounds and we ended up having to unplug it. Since it was the winter and the Inn runs a two-pipe system, the heater could only be turned on and it got very hot in the room. The staff were nice about it and brought us fans and we cracked open a few windows but it would have been nice to have A/C as an option. Mehr
