Freundlich und hilfsbereiter Rezeptionsbereich. Zimmer sehr schön und komfortabel bis auf innenzimmer ohne Fenster und am lueftungsschacht Ueppiges und tolles Fruestuecksbuffet mit frischem Obst, Saeften, Serrano, Kaese und allem was das Herz begehrt. Schade, dass das Personal dort im fruehstuecksraum so unmotiviert ist. Kein Laecheln, laut, die Tische […] nicht abgeraumt und eine Hektik und Lautstaerke wie auf dem bahnhof..., trotz leckerer Speisen kein Ort zum Verweilen. da waere ein Training fuer Gaestebetruung mal angebracht. Alle anderen an der rezeptiom ausserst hoeflich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem war es gut, da Zimmer und Lage des Hotels klasse sind. Mehr

Warning. Don't go to the morning buffet. $27.00 per person. Our fault for not asking before we ate, but who charges that much for a self serve buffet. Also they charge for wireless passwords. Since they did not tell my kids that when they asked for the password, this $9.00 per request was another shocker. Hotel was very clean and a great location.

Room surpisingly quiet considering it's location. Had no complaints about anything. Found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful

As an artist, it was important for me to stay close to Madrid's incredible art museums. This hotel is right on the Paseo del Prado, with the incredible Neptune Fountain right on the doorstep. Hotel is located in a very convenient location. Right across the street from Prado Museum, 5 minutes taxi ride from Atocha Train Station, and 10-15 minutes walk to Puerta Del Sol, which is a heart of the city. If you want to grab a quick breakfast, there is a VIPS convenience store across with a nice cafe. Also, Starbucks is right next door. Taxi stop […] is right in front of the hotel. Hotel is very stylish and nicely designed. Even though our room had a view of a wall, we didn't mind it, because we didn't spend a lot of time in it. One thing that really bothered me were the horrible pillows that were in our beds. I have stayed in cheaper hotels before with better pillows that that. Also, there is no iron in the room. They want you to use their ironing services, which you have to order and wait for. Overall, it was a good stay. Even though the price was kind of steep, the location of the hotel makes you forget about it. If I come back to Madrid, I would probably look for another option in the future. the rooms are small but clean and the hotel is very well located if you are interested in going to all of the art museums.

This is a very nice hotel but not worth the price. I have stayed in several hotels in Madrid for less than half of their rate and found them to be equally as nice.

This hotel is in walking distance to the Museo del Prado, Real Jardin Botanico, Palacio de Cristal, and the train station. We felt safe walking to town center late at night then back to the hotel. There's a fun bistro at street level that has quite good tapis and regional wine, the wait staff was helpful with info and efficient. We ate there everyday. […] Bathroom and room were very tight as expected, and deliciously quiet in the back of the hotel. The bed was great (firm) and bathroom cool looking, except for this menacing metal-door stop that sat at the foot of the toilet (that was behind the door, ugh...why?). This caused our toes getting stumped on the door stop--ouch! The AC was odd to control. The hotel staff spoke very good English, but they did not ask, 'How is your stay?'; nor did they 'offer' to help in anyway (such as while talking about our train departure if we wish for a morning wake-up call); if they say they'll bring up your bags the door man gets distracted. This is a busy hotel with busy staff--essentially a revolving door of people who get bottle necked in the lobby due to the small elevators. Free Wi-Fi user in the lobby so it's a busy place, the Wi-Fi codes are gotten from the front desk, and are active for one hour per computer. PC had no prob, MAC did, IT service provider was helpful but it wasn't their problem. All in all, the hotel is 'not' a special place because clearly service is not a priority, 20-30 somethings are behind the desk who prob haven't traveled a lot to know the difference. Will we return? Prob not but it wasn't a bad experience. The experience met our expectations except from the menacing door stop. Mehr

I carefully perused all hotels.com reviews as well as other sites toward choosing the optimal Madrid hotel. This was an easy and absolutely validating choice. The room was lovely and well appointed with modern marble bathroom, quiet despite the street location, and across the street from the Prado Museum with easy walking distance to the other two major […] art museums. There were interesting neighborhoods and a variety of restaurants in easy walking distance as well. Highly recommended, particularly for art lovers! Mehr

Absolutely perfect! Quiet, comfortable, lovely, beautiful view out our window, perfect location for the Prado, the Thysseosin, church, Jeronimo street, to get us to the Ham Musseum, Carmen ballet, shops, great Indian food near Zaragosa, cozy little breakfast spot a couple doors down, very convenient from the Atocha train station, and great customer […] service, the best! The room is small but very nice. The beds were excellent. The shower was really nice! Tooth brush, toothpaste, soap, and shampoo were left every morning. My wife was happy with everything. We don't speak Spanish and wanted help with directions to sites and restaurants. I need gluten-free food and they went out of their way to help me find places to […] go and made reservations for us. Very nice staff and helpful to all our needs. We used their computer several times to make travel plans. A conveniance store "VIPS" is adjacent to the hotel. A StarBucks is also next door, although I liked the cafe's nearby. The Prado Museum is across the street with a nice park imbetween. It is easy to find the major plazas, although we did walk long distances - 20 minutes or so. Taxis are right outside when needed. The food was superb and Madrid is amazing. Take a trip to Toledo! It is beautiful and there are buildings dating back to 400 ad and even older ruins. Loved it all!! Mehr

Very good quality hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location in a safe and affluent area close to the Museo Del Prado and Botanic Gardens. Only 15 minute walk from Sol, so also close to the great tapas bars that abound in Madrid.

Veldig fornøyd med standarden på hotellet, og det hadde en perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til museer og andre faciliteter vi ville besøke. Karakter 4 for komforten i rommet skyldes problemer med å styre temperatur/air-condition.

Bra hotell -rommene greie, men litt trange og med tepper på gulvene. Svært dyr frokost

Hotellin sijainti lähellä tärkeimpiä museoita sekä Retiro-puistoa oli mainio. Oli myös mahdollista kulkea kävellen muille nähtävyyksille ja hyville ostoskaduille. Liikenteen melu kuului hieman huoneeseen, mutta ei kuitenkaan häirinnyt liikaa. Henkilökunta oli erittäin pätevää ja ystävällistä. relacion calidad precio perfeca.El unico problema es la falta de luz en las habitaciones de los pisos inferiores,facil de solucionar poniendo iluminacion artificial en codiciones.La luz es tan escasa que no ves ni para maquillarte.¡¡¡unas lucecitas mas y el hotel es perfecto!!!

Chambre très sombre et lugubre, petit déjeuner en chambre ridicule avec trop peu à manger pour le prix!

Merveilleusement situé (face au Prado), au Thuyssen et à 10mn à pied du Reina Sofia et de la Puerta del Sol). Chambres spacieuses et très agréables, salle de bains soignée et esthétique. petit-déjeuner varié, délicieux et attentif. une très bonne surprise.
