Ich war mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden - besonders wegen des sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses. Es liegt relativ zentral in der Nähe einer Metro-Station. Toll ist der Shuttle-Service, der die Gäste zu beinahe allen Sehenswürdigkeiten kostenlos fährt. Das Hotel ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet mit Annehmlichkeiten wie Pool und abgedunkelten Scheiben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und arbeitet nach arabischen Maßstäben zügig und verbindlich. Der Pool-Bereich war immer sauber und gepflegt.

Sehenswürdigkeiten und dglchn. sind alle bequem per Taxi zu erreichen ( Taxi sehr preiswert ! ) Dubai ist eine STadt der langen Wege die aber lohnenswert sind. World Tradecenter mit Burj Khalifa und Dubai Mall sind nur knapp 10 Autominuten entfernt. Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel liegt in Bur Dubai und ist gut ausgestattet. Einzige Nachteil ist, dass im Moment eine Baustelle direkt vorm Hotel ist, aber das ist in Dubai kein Einzelfall. Ich hatte mein Zimmer im 2. Stock und morgens früh außer wunderschöne Sonne auch Baustellenlärm. Habe aber für meinen nächsten Aufenthalt, der in 3 Wo. ist, ein Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk […] gefragt und mir wurde sofort geholfen und auch zugesagt, dass dies kein Problem wäre. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und sehr höfflich. Restaurant im Hotel war auch gut, Ich hatte Aufenthalt ohne Frühstück, habe aber direkt vor Ort bezahlt und das für nur 25 Dhs. Ich war geschäftlich dort und empfehle das Hotel auf jeden Fall für einen Aufenthalt in Dubai. Mehr

Diese Station erreicht man zu Fuss in ca. 15 Minuten durch eine "Residencial Area". Wir haben auch den gratis Hotelshuttle-Bus benützt und konnten uns auf die angegebenen Abfahrtszeiten an den diversen Orten verlassen. Wir waren im Neubau an der Kuweit Avenue untergebracht, wenige Meter von einem kleinen Supermarkt entfernt.

Uns war wichtig, dass das Hotel gut zu Fuss zu erreichen ist, und man schnell im Zentrum ist. Das war der Fall und das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

We had an awesome stay at the Winchester Grand. The hotel staff was outstanding, They set up local tours for us, provided free shuttle service to various sites, and loaned us an electric converter for charging our computer. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a grocery store nearby. Just to make people aware there are two Winchester hotels the Grand is behind the Winchester. If you ask the Taxi drivers they only know the one on the main road make sure you mention that the grand is the one that is inside. Overall very good place to stay we had a one bedroom and it was good for two kids and us. The Sofa bed was not that comfortable […] but for a few nights and for the kids it is ok. They do not bring you tea bags which is complimentary you have to ask for it. Just behind the hotel there is a mini mart where you can get every necessity. 10 Minutes walk to Metro and Taxis are frequently available. Their shuttle to drop of to Airport is cheaper then Taxi. Overall enjoyed our stay. They are painting the exterior. Internet in the Lobby is fast and reliable. Mehr

Location - 5 minutes walk to Green METRO / @15 minutes to Red METRO. Value - excellent size (kitchenette) for the cost Cleanliness - very clean and everything worked in the room & bathroom. We arrived early (7.00am) and were told that The room would not be available for a few hours. We left our bags, went to explore and were in our room by 9.30am. Good service. The hotel is about 15mins walk from the metro and shops etc. There's a smallish pool on the roof . Breakfast was only 25AED and was adequate. We had a studio apartment which was […] equiped with kitchen appliances but as we were only there for a few days we didn't use. The room size was good. The hotel had courtesy buses to various parts of Dubai. We used one to go to the beach. Overall a good experience and good value. Only negative was that wifi was only available in the lobby, but that seems to be common in smaller hotels. Mehr

The hotel is nice, the front desk personnel were great and very polite. The bus driver was awesome, he gave me plenty of traveling tips. I think the shuttle to and from the aIrport should already be included with the room rate. You have a walk out to look for a restaurant, I did not try the restaurant in the hotel. It is a little far from the airport […] ($20) and the Dubai Mall ($15) on a cab. Taking the tram/train would be an option for a 10 minute walk to and from the station. Mehr

This hotel was fine if you need to be in Dubai for a short time on a budget, but overall I found it noisy and bit run down. So, if you need to save go for it - if not, find somewhere more comfortable.

Hotel is good. Staff reasonably helpful. Good cheap buffet food. Location is ok - but you need to get taxis most places - they are cheap enough though. Gym is alright too as hotel gyms go. Pool ok - interesting vista from the top.

Nice and kind staf and the rooms are fine. do find something near the hotel to guide the taxies, cause they don't know it and that can get very expensive.

I really liked my staying in this hotel. Not expensive and I felt that I payed my money for the right choice. You can walk to reach the metro or of course you'll find a cap! it is not far away from the points of interests and it is clean. The room was good and the stuff were very nice.

The apartment has spacious room space. Good for families with kids. its the only hotel apt we stayed in Dubai that has free internet access in the lobby area. Others would require you to pay for internet. Not many taxi drivers know the apartment location so bring a map with you. or say the correct name of the name because there is also a hotel nearby […] with the same name Mehr

Stayed with children- extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and the apartment spacious and comfortable! Had a great time in Dubai and it was lovely to come back to a cosy hotel. The rooftop pool was clean- overall good value for the price paid in an expensive city otherwise!

This hotel is great. I booked it from the USA the 15 hours before my arrival. I booked it only for one night so I'd have a place to stay. It was so fabulous that I had to book it for the next night. The staff was super friendly, the view from the pool is spectacular, the neighborhood had a great Lebenese restaurant and grocery store AND there were free […] shuttles to Jamira beach and the mall of Dubai. Now, the room itself was just what I needed. Big enough, with a fridge and a washer!!! I also didn't bring a converter for my hair straightener and they supplied it for my stay. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel. I will be sending my parents on a trip to Dubai and will book their stay here!!! Mehr

Entire stay is very comfortable and service was excellent. Reception was very helpful especially Vinod and vishu was exceptional.

Very affordable hotel with friendly staff. The room was large and clean and the amenities for the price great. As I was only staying for the one night I ate all my meals in the hotel which were buffet style and very reasonable. The hotel is also close to most of the sights with free hotel transport at various times during the day which was a bonus.

This hotel was very nice and cost effective. The staff were very helpful with all our enquires. The hotel also provided free transportation to many of the tourist attractions, so this saved us tons on taxi fares! However, i would liked to have seen a more wider breakfast selection, rather than the standard every morning.

looks like a place that would be rented by the hour...i feared for my personal safety from those who work there...

11 of us stopped by Dubai on our way back from Uganda to the US, we stayed at Winchester Grand for 3 nights. The hotel is closed to the airport. Management and front desk staffs were very friendly and supportive. The front desk manager booked a Desert Safari tour for our 1st evening and sold us discount tickets for bus tour on the 2nd day. Both tours […] were wonderful. They even found a way to send us back to the airport for a very reasonable price. The room is big and comfortable. Small hotel but have everything you need. Very good price for a Spacious room with kitchen, lovely roof top swimming pool, good quality food served in the restaurant. The hotel location is a bit confuse, even the taxi didn't know. (but only happened when we arrived, but no problem for the rest of our stay). There are no exact words to describe our suprise on our arrival to this hotel. We imagined Dubai's hotels especially rates 4* to be clean, spacious, airy amazing, it was nothing as such, it was dirty smelly far away from all major shopping centres and attractions, very very appalling, service was ordinary, we were hot and thirsty and no one has offered […] us any refreshments on the arrrival especailly with two children, we had to go to restaurant and buy water, would never go or recommend this hotel to anyone, sometimes it is not worth reading reviews, i did and this is where i ended up we all slept in one bed four of us because we were apalled and discusted, everything was so outdated, Mehr

Horrible location. No taxi driver knows where this place is and it's "close" to the metro, but walking there in the summer is not really an option. It's somewhat clean but the hallways are a bit dank, some interesting smells abound, and the "security guard" is a little strange. Everyone that worked at the hotel was very pleasant! They helped my sister and I find great tourist activities at fantastic prices and walked us through every step of the way. That was great, since it was our first visit to Dubai. The hotel is very close to everything. Also, it conveniently has a small grocery store located just on the other side of […] the building. This was such a huge help to us because we could just walk to get what ever we needed. I could not be more happy with our stay there. It wasn't a "luxury" hotel but it was everything that we needed at an unbeatable price. The rooms were very clean and everything looked very well kept. My only note is that if you stay there, make sure that you tell your taxi driver that you are staying at the Winchester "GRAND" Hotel because there is another Winchester hotel by a similar name where we accidentally got dropped off at. Luckily, they are sister hotels and only a few blocks in distance. We were shuttled to the other hotel at no cost. Bottom line: If I went back, I would stay there again. Mehr

This was the third time I stayed at the hotel and I am very satisfied with the services and the comfort of this hotel. It is situated at a very convenient location in Bur Juman and the approximation to various places made my trip comfortable .

The hotel was very clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was not exactly on Mankool Rd but the taxidrivers all knew where it was. There is 2 Winchester Hotels so as long as you tell the taxi drivers Grand they were pretty good. They have a free shuttle bus to different locations which was handy.

all the sofa beds were dirty,bathroom most apalling have booked room to accommodate family of four, 2 kids and 2 adults, we all slept on one bed as the sofas were in no condition, did not want to even sit on them, hotel smelt on old, it is in serious need of some renovation, was far from all main attractions, i certainly would not recommend this hotel. unfortunately […] all the hype about Dubai has died with staying in this hotel, we did not even want to come back during the day, we were always out and avoided hotel at all costs, even bathrooms in shopping centres were cleaner and more attractive than hotel's Mehr

The hotel was outstanding and the staff of the hotel was very helpful. The breakfast requires some work because the way food was prepared didn't go well for myself and my wife. The price of the breakfast was acceptable. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs ie close proximity to Dubai mall. Nice hotel for the price. Called the hotel before arriving and they had their staff at the airport to pick us up. Once arrived, staff was very curtious and took to our room quickly. We noticed a broken lock in the balcony, informed staff and they sent maintenance quickly. Could not get fixed it then and when asked to find another room, they had same […] problem. However after emphasizing, they were able to get that fixed next day. Plus is the wi-fi in the lobby and is pretty good. They also offer internet option in the room at reasonable price. We took their breakfast option which is offered at their restaurant in the lobby. This is very useful with kids and didn't have to worry leaving in the lobby. They only charged half price for my 7 yr old. The restaurant also offers lunch and dinner at a reasonable price. They also have a pool and gym on the roof which is maintained well with a supervisor all the time. They also offer free shuttle to most of the visiting places however charge fees for airport drop off or pickup. Mehr

The staff here great- they were always willing to help and offer any information. The breakfast was good for the price. It was a bit of a walk to the Burjuman Mall (about 15 mins or so) but that was quite handy for catching a bus or a metro train.

Service was poor - depsite late arrival rooms were not ready. When taxi requested, unmetered private limousine was provided. Taxi's found location difficult to find - taken to wrong hotel twice. Hotel well below standard of accomodation and facilities normally found in Dubai. No idea how it's gets a 4 star rating.

We have stayed at the Winchester Grand on two different occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The hotel is in an excellent location. Everyone on the hotel staff were always polite, and provided excellent service. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping did an excellent job when they cleaned the rooms. The internet quality in the lobby was ver clear, hopefully they can offer free internet of WiFi in the rooms also. I willdefinetly stay there again and reccommend others

Large king bedroom, a lot of wardrobes, spacious living room with sofa bed ideal for children Kitchen comes with catering, brilliant!!! Swimming is nice and the water warm, love it. I definitely recommend the hotel it is good value for money.
