very nice, clean hotel, fantastic staff, only a short cab ride into town

this was a very pleasent stay staff were helpful rooms were clean. Bed was very comfortable and decor was modern well worth the money. The aircon had a bit of a smell coming from it of dust so did not use during stay. There were no windows which could be claustrophobic for some. The canals surrounding the hotel were picturesque at night and enjoyed […] my stay. great hotel Mehr

The hotel was very conveniently located. Was a 2 minute walk to the tram which could be used to be taken to the city center or the main train station. Also close to the outlet mall & Manchester United Stadium. The room was clean & the hotel staff were courteous. Overall a good stay.

Checking in was quick and straight forward. Staff were very friendly and helpfull and recommended places to visit. rooms were modern and spacious and included air conditioning. Didnt experience any noise at all. Outside the hotel was very modern and well kept right on the door step of the B.B.C studios. The Lowrey shopping centre worth a visit and Imperial […] War Museum was fantastic. Only downside was the distance to the city although easily accessable. Tram stop not far from the hotel and takes about 15 mins to center, they run every 12 mins.Plenty of taxis also available. We would stay here again. Lovely clean hotel. Great place to stay if going to old Trafford, we went to watch Man united and was only ten mins walk. Mehr

Stayed one night.Large comfortable room. Good choice at breakfast. Convenient location easy to get into city centre.Would stay again.

Good hotel, only problem pay per parking and it is a little far from the hotel

great location parking is a little walk away but not a problem. had read that transport into city was not that good but the metro is 2 mins walk away and run until 0030 hours.

We had relatively low expectations but were very impressed. Staff,facilities and room were excellent. The view from the 14th floor was fantastic. The location was excellent being very close to the Lowry and the Imperial War Museum (free and well worth visiting). The buffet breakfast was good quality and extensive. The tram stop for transport into the […] city was about 3 minutes walk away. We would happily use again and recommend. Mehr

Staayed here twice now, great hotel close to the Lowry. Very modern and clean The only negatives, you have to pay £6 to park and extra for breakfast

taxis seem to find it hard to locate this hotel. not well sign posted. hotel ideal for bbc studios/ lowry.down for utd game / old trafford 15min walk.hotel staff very good, nice bar. drinks average hotel prices.rooms excellent.. breakfast very good selection.only complaint, bar does not accept cash after 23.00pm. very annoying as i dont like using my […] card for drinks staff willing to keep hand luggage while attending football was a bonus..17/09/11 Mehr

No problems with Hotel. Everything 1st rate. Parking not ideal. Multi storey car park next door means you have a walk from vehicle to Hotel and your car is stuck in car park unless you want to keep paying for exit and access every trip out. Overall I would still use this Hotel in preference to the nearby Holiday Inn Express, which has free parking, […] because the excellence of everything else outweighed the parking issue. Mehr

reception staff clueless and room service food was appauling, will not be staying here again.

Having been to Manchester a few times before I knew Salford was a little out of Manchester city centre, but very accessible due to the tramway system that operates a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel was lovely, very clean and modern and the staff were very friendly and informative. We were on the 15th floor of the hotel and the views were lovely, […] the space is shared with the BBCs new northern base and there was a great atmosphere around the place event though it is a new site. There is an outlet with a few commercial shops and restaurants a 5 min walk away and also the Lowry and imperial war museum which are both definitely worth a visit. Were thinking of going back in a few weeks it was that great! Mehr

Comfortable and clean =however we thought the food and drink a little on the pricey side.

What a great hotel, very clean very comfortable and very friendly staff, was very impressed with the security that is in place. excellent place to stay, lovely breakfast too. also a multi storey car park right next door, what more do you want.

Very difficult to locate directions and map from Hotel.com site totally inaccurate. Hotel tv not working quiet ironic as the theme of the hotel is media. pleasant enough staff, rooms as you would expect in holiday inn. fairly easy access to the city. Good price from this web site.

This is a lovely new hotel in a slightly bizarre location (feels like a Canary Wharf in the making) and lots of construction still occurring. However was only a short cab ride away. I would have awarded much better marks but the breakfast experience really let it down. They do not seem to have enough tables for the hotel, we had to wait for 15 minutes. […] Plus the breakfast bar area is much too small which meant that it was a bit of a scrum to be able to get to anything. They had also run out of a lot of food, the coffee was from a machine (not what you expect from that level of hotel). It was a shame as otherwise would have been very positive. Mehr

This hotel is perfectly located for fans visiting Old trafford. The staff are very freindly & helpful to tourist.

would have put 5 for all but it was hard to find because there is still alot of building work around hotel. Once all completed I would love to go back as you could not fault one thing about hotel or staff. Lovely views in the distance and the hotel staff could not do enough to help. Great hotel. Had to be honest about the location and neighbourhood it's a building site near the Lowry. However once it's finished I have NO doubt it will be astounding. The local tram service is excellent so getting into manchester is no issue at all. The hotel itself is amazing, modern and brilliantly comfortable. I will be staying here in the future.

Brand new hotel, physically attached to the new BBC site at Media City. Not much to do in the immediate area. Beware - it's not where the hotels.com map says it is. It is actually almost adjacent to the "Media City UK" tram stop. This is probably because it's so new. Some good weekend rates and only 20 mins (£2.40 return) by tram from the city centre […] or £10 in a cab (5-10 mins). Priority Club members get 2pm checkout for free (even if booked through hotels.com) so join up and tell them your number at check in. Mehr

4 of us arrived here at 8.30am off early flight. We went to the hotel and they found us 2 availabkle rooms and allowed immediate check-in. Hotel was new, clean, comfortable and staff very friendly. Very close to metro, old trafford and shops/restaurants. Will definitely stay here next time too.

Kjempefint hotell, nært beliggende til Old Trafford. Fra hotellet og opp til Old Trafford er det bare ca 10min og gå langs kanalen opp til stadion. stille og rolig. litt lite steder å spise ,men god mat på hotellet.

I was very satisfy. I like this hotel and new Salford docks.. New Salford is great. Very impressive.

Et hotell som anbefales for de som ønsker nye, moderne rom til en hyggelig pris. Området rundt hotellet er noe uferdig, men helt greit for en familie med tenåringsbarn. 10 min å gå til Old Trafford, 20 min med trikk til sentrum.

Mycket bra och rent hotell. Stannade över en helg för att se ManU. Hotellet ligger 10 minuter promenad från Old Trafford. Man kan se arenan från hotellet. Väldigt nytt och fräscht hotell. Ligger i ett område med mycket företag, nybyggt område så det var rätt öde. Dock kunde man ta metron väldigt nära in till staden. Hotellbaren stängde lite tidigt. […] Schysst bemötande. Billigt med tanke på kvalitén, 4 stjärnor. När platsen är färdigbyggd kommer det nog bli ett kanonområde. Typiskt konferenchotell men ändå gött. Mehr

Jeg vil si at dette er at av de bedre hotellene ved Old Trafford, det er gangavstand til OT dessuten er det masse koslige kafeer og barer i nærheten. Hotellet fremstår som nytt og meget pent og rent, lett å finne, Metroen fra og til sentrum stopper rett utenfor døren til hotellet. Absolutt topp. Finner ikke noe minus med hotellet bare ++++++++++++ Det […] var dessuten ett meget koselig omerådet rundt hotellet, Salford. Metroen tar deg enkelt inn til sentrum, men du finner det meste du trenger, rundt hotellet. Det viktigste Old Tr. men også kafeer, barer, shopping senter, kino, museum (war museum), en koselig kanal og perfekt fur en drink utendørs. Det var dessuten stille og rolig og ikke så bråkete og masete som i sentrum. Dette var absolutt topp :-9 Mehr

hotellet var helt nytt og det var av topp kvalitet. Hadde alle fasiliteter som man forventer av et nytt hotell. hotellet er bygd til ol og paralympics i 2012 og er tilrettelagt for handicap. plassering er i gangavstand til Old trafford og metroen er 200m fra hottellet. eneste minus er vindusvasken på utsiden
