Jan. 2012
Lage in Flughafennähe (Manila).

Alle Hotels in Manila ansehen"Good for cheap stay only, near "hotspots""
Check in was fast, but on next day, front day ask if i wish to extend, when i've already paid for the 2nd night! Breakfast sucks, breakfast arrangement is insufficient and suck big time, turnaround too slow, staff not pro-active. Almost nothing leftover the minimum breakfast spread, no cup, no plate, no utensils left!!! Close to hotspots, good for cheap […] stay only. Mehr
"Pedro Gil Eurotel"
Although the location of the hotel is very convenient, and the staff is quite helpful, the lack of an individual personal security box, either in a locked room behind the check in, or within the room itself, and a lack of a window in the economy room makes this a less desirable property than it otherwise would have been rated at. It was "ok", but surely […] no great shakes. Mehr
"Pitiful"
Terrible rooms, terrible breakfast, pathetic guest services... stayed because of the price - you get what you pay for I guess. I suggest to spend a few more dollars and go to nicer place.
"The hotel is not recommended for long stay."
The hotel while conveniently located does not offer much in terms of amenities. In fact, you have to pay even for use of utensils or extra blankets. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Also, there were no staff to assist us even with our luggage. The hotel might be good only for short stay.
"need to have negative values in the grading system"
-10 is what I would give this place. Rude staff, pitiful "accommodations" and a breakfast I would not feed a dog. NEVER stay here! I stay at hotels all over the world, some much nicer than others; but this one is the very worst EVER! The ONLY good thing is the location (right across the street from a good shopping mall). At least you can go over there […] to eat. First room: toilet not working, second room, sink not working. Room service? Don't make me laugh... it turned out to be impossible to get even a thermos of hot water for coffee... we paid in advance for the night we arrived late so we would not have the hassles about checking in at 2 a.m. but guess what? STILL did not get to our room until nearly 4 a.m. The staff acted as though we were intruding on their happy little gathering at the desk... breakfast of cold eggs - they make half a dozen omelets and that's what your getting - take it or leave it... never mind that they have sat there for an hour or more. Cold showers, never made the room up unless I demanded it, all in all, the very worst. Take it from me, this is the winner in worst hotels of the world. Mehr
"EUROTEL Manila in Philippines close to everything."
Eurotel at Pedro Gil Manila Philippines was a good place to stay due to its location and convinience. The problem was with the night supervisor during my stay. He doesnt know how to handle customers concerns.Like we had found solid waste matter in our coffee and they didnt even do anything to solve the problem inspite that we call there attention. Our […] complaint was totally ignored. ""A taste of Europe", then I never want to go.."
This hotel pretty much sucks in all ways. There is only 1 elevator, for guests and staff, so be prepared to walk up to your room, or wait a long time. There was no toilet paper, only a water hose, after which you air dry. The bedding was dirty, the carpeting filthy, and the room stinks. The staff was inefficient and could not care less. If this is a […] "European Hotel example, then I never want to go to Europe! Mehr
"just stay one day"
nothing to do... when u arrive at manila it should be dawn?? then stay just one night good locations but not good room condition too depressed~~
I like the proximity of the hotel to important places, the mall is just right there, the US embassy is just few mins walk, it is well located. The wireless internet service very good, I enjoyed it unlike the hotel I stayed before I transferred to Eurotel. The staff are very good and helpful too.

I would recommend this hotel for short stay or budget travel only.
"friendly staff the only positive"
Glad we only stayed one night. As friendly as the staff was, this hotel is one of those places I will remember forever for all the wrong reasons. The only reference to Europe is the map in the hall. The place is downright creepy and poorly maintained. Our room did NOT have a single window. Moreover, while having a drink nearby seeing many tricycles […] with banners advertising the hotel. psp xxx for 12 hours at the Eurotel...you get the idea...it makes you realize what kind of bed you're sleeping in. Sorry folks, this place needs to be torn down. Mehr
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE...PLEASE FIND ANOTHER HOTEL.
"TAKE ANOTHER HOTEL"
Mattress cover is of vinyl, the sheets were slipping off. Wall paper was peeling off. dirty marks on the carpet. The floor of the bathroom was constantly wet...because of blocked waste pipe, and if I complained, they came and wiped the floor, rather than fix the blockage. Then the HOT water stopped coming. It took them over 5 hours to fix, and they […] recommended that i take cold showers. OH BOY. in the dinning room...the glass top tables were cleaned with soiled cloth, leaving dirty smear marks, and i felt uncomfortable to put my hands on them. One of the chef, could NOT understand what a scrambled egg meant. I had to demonstrate to her. And to top it all off...the Room Safe did not operate, because they got the combination wrong...and lastly, the hotel promises Wi-Fi...what a laugh....it never worked, as the message displayed said "renew your subscription". I pointed this out many times...and all I got were promises...and nothing else. PLEASE TAKE ANOTHER HOTEL. IT IS A NIGHTMARE. Mehr
"Eurotel Pedro Gil"
Good hotel in great location. Clean rooms. Breakfast buffet is small. Four items, tang and coffee. Friendly staff but undermanned at night. Requested ice at midnight took 45 minutes to get it. OUTSTANDING location for the price. I will stay there again if I do not bring the family. Overall nice place.
We arrived at 12:15 AM since we just arrived at the airport and got a cab to the hotel. Most international filghts arrive late and the hotels shoudl recognize this. When we got to the hotel we were told they didn't thnk we were coming since it was already the next day (by 15 minutes) so they gave our room away. They sad they may have one available in […] an hour. We had to wait since the room was paid for and it was late. They were accomodating and got us a room ready in about 30 mnutes. The room was small and the matress had a vinyl cover around it. It reminded me of a rent by the hour type place. We were only there for 2 nights so we figured we coudl handle it. The location is great for shopping. There are other hotels in Manila that are better and comparably priced. Mehr
"Crappy Hotel"
This place is a dump. Don't go there unless you are desperate and then reconsider,
"EUROTEL AT PEDRO GILL"
Drinking glasses and blanket are not standard items in the room. I had to ask for it. A flask of hot water cost me P10. I was unfortunate to have a room that had a water pump running on and off the whole night. Believe me the noise was loud. I managed to change my room at 2.30pm the next day, after pestering them since 7am.
"Nice Hotel in Convenient Location"
I chose this economically priced hotel, knowing that it is not a four-star property, because I saw numerous positive reviews about it from previous guests on Hotels.com and other travel websites. It is fairly new, having been built in 2007, and its overall condition reflects the relative newness of this well-maintained property. I also chose it because […] it is near the very large and modern Robinsons indoor shopping mall, which is comparable to any fine mall in the U.S., and the main entrance was just across the street from the hotel. The hotel is also well-positioned within the city of Manila. Excellent convenience. I had a standard room, which was fine for two people and provided sufficient space, an in-room safe, desk and small table with chairs. Although I dined on a few occasions at the restaurants in the mall, I pleasantly discovered that the room service meals at the hotel are priced below those mall restaurants, and the hotel fare is of generous portions, good quality and there is no service charge tacked on. Complimentary breakfast buffet is included with the room, and the offerings varied each day, which was good. FYI, housekeeping, i.e., making up the bed, etc. is not automatic each day, but when you do want some tidying up done, just call the front desk and they will happily oblige. I didn't consider this a negative at all. The staff responds quickly and politely when incidentals such as ice, more toilet paper or fresh towels are needed. Also, you can arrange through the hotel for pick-up at the airport and then return to the airport when your stay is done. When I was there, it was a flat fee of 400P for one person; I was told that it would be an additional 200P for each person in my party. It's nice not to have to hassle about the price because on past visits to the Philippines, I have had situations where taxi drivers have tried to bump up the price simply because I was a foreigner. Not so with the hotel van; the stated fare was the actual fare with no h Mehr
"Great Value"
This is a great basic hotel room, with convenient access to Robinson's mall directly across the street. The rooms are new and clean with functioning water, tv, aircon, etc. Staff is friendly and helful. Based on the dual layers of security within the hotel and the warning to look out your eyehole before exiting your room, says a little about the decline […] of this part of Manila. That being said, I felt safe within the walls of the hotel at night. Mehr
"Eurotel Pedro Gill is worth a stay"
The hotel was really nice for the price offered. The room we were first in was just like the pictures on this site. It unfortunately had very low internet reception, but we asked to be relocated to a room with better internet and they did it the next day. The second room however did not have any windows, but considering we were out most of the day it […] didn't matter. The staff was very prompt with requests such as extra blanket or wake up call. The only down side is that the bed was a little hard and the free breakfast was a little too traditional even for my Filipino wife (be up early to catch the cook making eggs). They had an airport service (private driver) to the airport which was really convenient. Will definitely stay there again. Mehr
"Eurotel Pedro Gil"
This is a small hotel in a convenient location across Robinson's mall and steps to a 7-11 store and ATM. It was a long way up the front stairs to the lobby from the cab. I had to wait a long time before my reservation was found. The one elevator was extremely slow so I used the stairs a lot to get to and from my room. The room was small but clean and […] there was hot water, airconditioning, free internet and I was given some ammenities. Another one of the many downsides were that I could not get a spare towel to save my soul. The room service was poor or non existent. the room service menu seemed appetizing but when the food came it was not what you expected but was edible. Luckily I used my gilfriend as an interpreter or you could not converse with the staff. There are tons of hotels all around that one, but are they all the same? I would like to try another for my next Manila trip. Mehr
"Econ Hotel near everything"
A Smallish hotel across the street from a huge mall. The pro's of this hotel are the location, very safe, and low price. The con's of this hotel is that not everything listed on the hotels.com website are acurate. For example there is not a tub or safe dep box in the room. You cant call cell phones or international in this hotel. This is not a luxury […] hotel, but it is safe and comfortable with everything near-by. Mehr

"ユーロテル ペドロ ギル (Eurotel Pedro Gil)"
"Good value for the price"
I stayed in Eurotel one night, since I just needed to change my flights in Manila. The hotel room was quite good and big enough for two people even though I just booked the cheapest studio room. There was tooth brushes, tooth paste, shampoo and soap in the bathroom which was nice. The room was also clean and they had 24 hour room service. I checked […] out at 5 O`clock in the morning without any trouble. The only thing that annoyed me about this hotel was when I checked in. Two different people from the staff told me I hadn`t paid yet even though I paid on hotels.com. I insisted that I had paid via hotels.com and they said okay. I booked the hotel only one day in advance, but they should be able to know that I already paid since I booked via hotels.com. I had heard many stories about this area in Manila several places on the Internet. These stories made me feel unsafe since I was alone in Manila. However, the hotel is located just opposite a big shopping mall so there will be many people on the street, also in the evening. So there is no reason to feel unsafe here even though all the Filipinos try to sell you all their stuff. Just make sure you don`t talk to these people, since they will start to follow you if show any interest whatsoever. And eventually they will ask for tips because they showed you something. So my advice is just to tell them to go away to begin with. During rush hour it takes about 1 hour by taxi from the airport to the hotel. In the morning at 5 O`clock it only took 16 minutes. Mehr
