I think the pool was a little small. I feel they should have an ice machine on each floor. I know you could bring it to your room but thats just one more member of your staff that expects a tip.I felt like everywhere you turned the staff was very willing to help you but expected something in return.

Excellent location, services, rooms, restaurants, etc. I enjoy mery much my stay, the view of the sunset from my 29 floor room was espectacular. Excellent housekeeping services to my room.

We stayed on our wedding night and the service was awesome. I was able to check in early in the morning because it was a surprise for my wife. They allowed me to check in and see the room. When we finally arrived after the wedding, they had complimenatry champagne and strawberries in the room. Someone actually escorted us to our room and carried my […] wife's bag for her. l Had to be one of the finest hotels I have stayed in, the staff was polite, courteous, and professional. The room was spectacular, and the service was outstanding, the staff could not do more to please you. If I had one complaint it would be the parking, guest had to pay an additional cost to park at the hotel they have a room at. Maybe all downtown […] hotels are this way but if you want to get a step up, guest parking should be free. The room service food thought a bit high in cost the food was great and you received a lot for your money.. Overall a great place I will be back David L. Angus Mehr

J.W.Marriott-Indianapolis,Indiana. Excellent hotel. Had a wonderful stay. The view was fantastic.

The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is that their elevators stopped working around the checkout time on 02/19/2012, and the staff were not informed about the issue and had no plan B for getting the guests to the lobby. I was stuck in my room for more than an hour, missed my checkout time, and barely made it down in time for my airport […] ride pick-up. Otherwise, this hotel is amazing, including the Italian restaurant on the ground floor. I would definitely stay there again. Mehr

This place is great. Nice bar and restaurants. Good location if you're going to Lucas or Convention center, as it's connected via skywalk.

This was a great hotel to stay at for a couple of nights. The staff was friendly, the hotel had many amenities and the coffee was delicious. The only problem with the hotel was the price. For the amount we paid, we expected elegance. I would rate the top floor suites 28-33 no better than a Crowne Plaza Hotel room or an Embassy Suites. Good but not great. We were very happy with hotel and its super-courteous staff. Great location with downtown attractions within walking distance. Close to Lucas Oil Stadium and only 15 minute walk to Conseco Fieldhouse. We had room on 28th floor with a great city view. The only thing I was disappointed with was the price of parking. I would rather have it included with […] room rate so it is taken care of when I book it and not have to worry about the additional costs upon arrival. Mehr

The hotel was very nice, but do be prepared to pay extra for parking and Internet. Beautiful room, great view. Best part was walking to Lucas Oil Stadium from the hotel on a rainy day without ever having to go outside and get wet. The hotel also allowed us to leave the car in parking throughout the game so that saved us on parking at the stadium. The […] hotel bar was great, loved the decor and ambiance. The buffet for breakfast was also wonderful. The gym was well equipped although the pool was quite small. Max capacity of pool is only 37 and that would be packed elbow to elbow. Very beautiful hotel with high quality furnishings and conveniences of a worldwide 5 Star Hotel.Nice Staff and willing to assist at a moments notice. Enjoyed our 2 night stay and will return again soon.

Decided to stay downtown in our hometown over the Thanksgiving weekend. Within walking distance of the Zoo, the NCAA HQ, the Indiana Historical museum, the Eiteljorg Museum, the downtown mall and all the sports complexes. The room was great, the food in the sports bar fantastic and the location convenient to everything. My wife and never stay at hotels like this, but after being away for a month with work and her being at home with both babies, we went to the J.W. Marriott. The horse drawn carriage arrived on time and the staff was friendly. With complementary breakfast and not just doughnuts, this hotel fits the occasion. Only draw backs are they charge for the internet […] usage, parking in their garage is 28 bucks and there wasn't a hot tub in the room like I was hoping for. To me if you are staying at athe hotell of this caliber, the parking and the internet usage should be included. However, for one night, this is country boy felt like a Vegas high roller. Mehr

The hotel was fantastic and the view of the city was awesome! Withing walking distance of everything. Parked our car upon arrival and didn't get it until departure. Wonderful sisters week-end!

Really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful hotel. Located within walking distance of the canal walk and the capitol building and museums. Nice restaurant on site with what we were told was an award winning chef. However the food was just okay while the atmosphere was wonderful Try the bar at the end of the hotel near the concierge for a more fun time. […] This hotel would be double the price in Chicago and three times the price in NYC. Very nice hotel, but overpriced considering not all the amenities that were advertised were actually provided. For example, the room description touted a city view with bathrobes. The actual room was facing West (not toward the city) and bathrobes were nowhere to be found. Superb customer service though.

I ship a package to the hotel and it cost $28.00 to pick it up, Only cost $9.00 to ship it 500 miles but they charge $28.00 to hold it for 3 hours? Cheep hotels provide this service free, I think it's dumb to charge for this and internet at an expensive hotel.

Wonderful place to stay for a colts game..use the Valet parking which is only few $$ more and the benefit of not having to use stadium parking. Great breakfast buffet as well as Sports bar..

My husband and I were in Indy for a Colts game. The best part of the hotel was the bed. We slept great! We had a corner room overlooking Lucas Oil and downtown. Great hotel, best in Indianapolis! I would have rated every category a 5 star, except, we called for additional towels & they never arrived. Other than that, hotel is super mod, clean, and close to everthing! View of Lucas Oil Stadium is cool! Go Colts!

Nice new rooms. Parking was $30 for overnight - a little high for Indy. Room was on lower floor facing east so there was a fair amount of room noise but too bad. Check in was very nice - lots of people manning the reception area which is a very good change of pace compared to most hotel check in experiences. All I can say is wow this is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in!!! The valets and bell boys went out of their way to make sure our every wish was taken care of they even let us valet park our car for the night game the day we checked out without extra charge . The rooms are outstanding the bed is the most comfortable thing I've ever slept […] on.The decore is beautiful.The hot tub was outstanding, but the pool was small. The gym was the best I've ever seen in a hotel.There were a few negatives there was dried blood on our shower curtain, but they took care of it and gave us $50 towards dinner.The resturants are high priced as is breakfast. Also we paid for a high rise room which by definition is floors 23-33. Our room was on floor 22 so we paid extra to stay on the top floor of the low rise. They did try to remedy this, but the hotel was sold out. Also this is were the visiting football teams players stay which would have been cool except we are colt fans. Mehr

Staff was incredible! Very friendly and very helpful! No question-Would stay again.

From the beginning we received excellent service from everyone at the hotel. We had a late night snack and we were really close to the cutoff time for when they quite serving food. He was kind enough to serve us anyways. We also ordered room service for breakfast in the morning, the food was excellent and the employees were very nice. For dinner, we […] dined in the italian restaurant in the hotel. We got some great recommendations for dinner and we were served very quickly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The normal price for this room was a little high for my taste, but we live locally and were flexible on our dates so I was able to find a really great price for the weekend that we stayed. Mehr

Reserved a room with a king size bed and paid for a room with a king size bed, but when we checked in I was told no rooms wiyh a king size bed were available? Got a room with 2 queen size beds. Not what I paid for or wanted. That is the whole point of makeing a reservation right? The key cards would not work in the elevator or our room after check in, […] the front desk reswiped the cards we left for the evening and tryed to use the card to access the sky bridge back to the hotel and the card again would not work. Went to the front desk and reswiped the card, then went to use the elevator and the card again failed to work, went back to the front desk and had to have the manager on duty go with us and use his card to use the elevator and to get us in to our room!!! What a joke! Left a wake up call for our room for the following morning and never received one!!!! But we did have some one try to enter our room the following morning, scared the crap out of my wife! Went to the door and nobody was there, just the final bill under the door! Also paid $28 for parking and had to park off site, they did refund us the $15, but what about the $14 differ. If you dont use there parking garage why pay for it? Very unhappy!!!!! Mehr

I took my wife to Indianapolis for her 30th Birthday and this Hotel was not only 5 star quality but they also helped me make my Wife's Birthday the "Best time of her life ever." I would recommend anybody stay at The JW Indy anytime it is AWESOME!

Best hotel i've ever stayed in. The staff was incredible so friendly honest and energetic. Hotel is right in the middle of many things to do and many other things still within 2 miles. Thanks again JW Marriott staff.

This was probably one of the best hotel experiences I've had. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautiful and modern, and an overall great experience. They had upgraded our room for free, to a higher floor with a view, which was very nice. We also booked a package that included breakfast which was amazing. My only complaint […] is that when we were leaving, it took more than 30 minutes to get our car out of valet parking. They explained that a self-parker had blocked us in, so they had to move a number of other valet parked cars to be able to get ours out. I understand that happens, not a big deal, but it would have been nice if they offered us a coupon, discount on the valet parking, or something for the hassle, even though it wasn't their fault. Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel in a great location (at least for our purposes). Friendly staff that was helpful and relaxed even though we were there on a busy weekend. Restaurant was good.

What a great experience, everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. I don't have a single complaint about my stay

JW is a graet place to stay, very clean.. Only issues is the price. And there was a small Stain on one of the sheets on one of the beds... Other than that it was a great stay with alot going on... O its $28.00 to park per day, and the Drinks are very pricey... like $8.00 for a samll Rum and Coke.. Breakfast, make sure you get this in you package or […] its $15.00 a person.. Mehr

The JW Marriott is an impressive hotel with great service. Great view from our room and within walking distance from downtown and the mall. Great place to stay! Very clean and extensive amenities.

The hotel staff went out of thier way for us. Location was perfect for us. And even if we didn't walk everywhere, taxi are only $5 within the downtown area. We were a little disapointed with the indoor pool. Small room and very cold water. Wonder why a hotel of this caliber couldn't have invested in a nice outdoor pool area maybe on the roof top. Could […] model it after the outdoor pool at the Four Seasons in St. Louis. Mehr
