Mohawk Inn and Conference Centre - Campbellville

The motel served it's purpose as a stay onroute to another destination. We would not choose this location for an extended stay or a destination unless we wanted to spend a lot of time at the Mohawk Race Track which is right next door. Bring a flashlight because […] the bathroom/washstand area only has one light switch which turns on the bright florescent light and ceiling fan and bathroom light all at once which immediately wakes up your partner at 03:00am and they are not happy to see you. We arrived on a rainy night and soon discovered that the old roof drainage pipes ran right above us to the outdoor spout which then dripped outside our window 5 feet into a cement gutter. Gives the chinese water torture trick a new application. Luckily I had ear plugs. The breakfast in the restaurant was great and the service was too. For the price, it was a nice interlude but we may not use this facilty again, especially in the rain. Mehr

Use this hotel only if necessry. The man at the front desk is very unfriendly. There is NO INTERNET, wireless or otherwise in any room! I was told I have to set in the bar to use my computer. It did not work there as well. Hotel has not been updated in 30 years. No coffee maker in room, towels are a faded green, soap is from a dispenser in teh shower, […] alarm clock was missing the face. The lounge is ok and the hotel is close to the race track. Other than that, stay away. Brian Mehr

This place was dirty and run down. The staff were friendly enough but that doesn't compensate for the lack of cleanliness.

It was a good weekend and the staff are exceptionially friendly and accomadating. It is an old motel but kept fairly clean and the rooms are a good size and the dining room is so busy but they keep up with it..

Who like the style of the 60th must stay at this place, everything looked original !!! I was surprised when I red that the hotel was build in 1967, but I did not expect that nearly everthing of the original equipment was still there ! Fortunately at least the bathroom was new. the food was great here i highly recomend the sunday brunch,the rooms were clean but very musty smelling.there outside apperance could use some sprucing up ,staff was very polite and helpfull

We were there for the Mohawk horse racetrack and it is the best location but the quality of the room is s0, so and the hallway have a bad smell. The restaurant is also so so.

Pretty much off the beaten track unless you are a horse racing or slot machine enthusiast. Mohawk is next door. Rooms are ancient and tired. Price per night is much too high for the condition of the rooms. It was a good cheap place to stay, if all your doing is sleeping. The hotel is very old and smells of old smoke. However the room was clean.

staff were very friendly and helpful, however i had to try 3 rooms before i found one with heat. the inn needs an overhaul. the bar/restaurant was nice, inexpensive. i would have no problem going back for a meal/drink but not to stay. sorry.
