Das Hotel liegt super, Bushaltestelle liegt direkt vor der Tür, Skytrain Station in ca 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichen. Das Hotel ist trotz der zentralen Lage extrem ruhig mit idyllischem Innenhof. Personl war extrem freundlichen und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist für ein Budget Motel überdurchschnittlich gut. Wir können das Hotel jedem der nach einer günstigen Unterkunft in Vancouver sucht, nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist mit der skytrain vom Flughafen prima erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht mehr die neuesten, aber dennoch sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Delta Privilege Member hat man das Internet kostenlos (beim check in ggf. einscchreiben oder nachfragen). Immer auf günstige Angebote achten, da Delta diese z. T. kurzfristig einstellt.

The location of the hotel next to Stanley Park is perfect. I was on a business trip, and it was great to go for jogging in the morning. I also enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel bar. The view onto the water is fantastic. I can also highly recommend their cocktails. However, I would have enjoyed the hotel even more with a better hotel service. The people at the receptiion were not very cooperative.

Das Burrard hatte mir sehr gut gefallen. Normalerweise bleibe ich immer in einem anderen Hotel in Vancouver, das war aber schon ausgebucht. So hatte ich das Burrard kennengelernt. Kann ich ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen. Schöne, klasse eingerichtete Zimmer. WLAN free. Toller grüner Innenhof. "Schön eingerichtetes Hotel in guter Lage"
neu renoviert, sehr freundliches Personal, gratis Wasser und Nespresso- Kaffee, super Betten, gute Lage, kostenlos WLAN im Zimmer und in der Lobby ein Drucker zur freien Verfügung, Zimmer sind allerdings eher klein, aber insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert

Ich finde das Hotel bietet genau das Richtige: -Die Lage ist sehr zentral -Der Service ist freundlich -gratis Wasser, Nespressokaffee, super Kosmetika und Bikes inklusive! -Mir gefällt der Stil der Einrichtung -gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
Einziger Kritikpunkt zum Zimmerkomfort ist, dass das Zimmer über keine Klimaanlage verfügt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Team!

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit, und sehr freundlich, Canada like halt. :-) Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet..gehts doch zu Fuss nach rechts in Richtung Robson Street und links in Richtung English Bay. Das Morgenessen nicht serviert wird, ist halb so schlimm..gibt es doch gerade ein Haus neben dem Hotel ein Coffee-shop sowie ein 24h shop.... Bin also […] rundum glücklich und kann es nur empfehlen. Good experience at this hotel. Clean and convenient no-frills hotel. Only negative was the coffee maker. I prefer one that can make hot tea as well. No tea bags provided.

The location was perfect for us. The underground parking was a bonus. Only complaint we had was the fact that the room was too hot, We couldn't seem to shut off the heat so had to open the windows. That, unfortunately was a bit noisy from traffic as we were on the street side of the hotel. The garden courtyard was lovely and staff very friendly.

Recently remodelled and very well done. Very friendly staff. Rooms were small but our single room easily accommodated two people with luggage. Great area -- close to West End and beaches, yet also withing walking distance of museums, main shopping area, etc.

When you pull up for the first time you may rethink whether you should trust unknown reviewers but don't worry, once you step into the lobby your faith will be restored. Great place to have as a home base for a weekend in Vancouver. Not a lot of amenities but clean, comfortable, cool vibe, and friendly staff.

The Burrard is a great little hotel nestled in downtown Vancouver. Very chic remodel with small quant rooms. The marketing department gets a A+ for the funny sarcastic signs and materials in the hotel and in each room. My favorite was the parking lot sign warning thieves that the hotel knows karate. There was a hiccup regarding charging my card for […] the room when it was prepaid, but that was rectified without problem. The beds could use some updating though. They are quite soft with very little support. Otherwise a great experience. The hotel staff was quite helpful when we asked questions. There was some construction going on next door which did start a little earlier than we would have liked, but was within reason. Mehr

I liked the hotel very much. It is very clean inside and out and it has a friendly staff and good service.The location of the hotel was very good and within walking distance of many attractions and places I was interested in. If you were walking by The Burrard, you might not find it to be a very inviting place to stay. From the outside, it looks like a somewhat dated hotel/motel. However, once you enter the lobby, you begin to realize that you were dead wrong (and you feel a little bad about those accommodation-ist prejudices you're harboring). We loved our stay in this cute facility. The bed was very comfortable and the room was charming. The location is perfectly located for walking or catching mass transit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

"Value in Vancouver"
Such a great value in downtown Vancouver! From the comfort of the room to the helpful staff everything was perfect for our week stay there. What I liked best was nothing was tacked onto the price. The bottled water, free phone calls, great coffee, umbrellas (thankfully) to the bicycles were all there for the asking.

Don't let the outer structure of The Burrard fool you. It may look a little old and run down, but the inside is very clean and chic. The elevator was under repair during my whole stay, but it was an easy climb up to my top level room. I loved the complimentary water, free wi-fi and phone calls to the US. It is in the heart of downtown, right next to […] the Sheraton wall center, and is a short walk away from major attractions. If you take a bus from Seattle to Vancouver, the quick shuttle stops minutes away from the hotel. The staff was very friendly as well. I would highly recommend this hotel! Mehr

We were pleasantly surprised by the Burrard. The hotel isn't much to look at from the outside, but the exterior is not at all indicative of the simple yet stylish rooms and courtyard with greenery. The hotel staff was great, and the water and internet was free to boot! I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff, very helpful, great location. The elevator was out and we were on the third floor with heavy luggage, but they were working on it and should have it going again soon. The staff offered to carry it up for us. I would reccommend this hotel and stay there again.

Great service, we needed across from the hospital, needed medical treatment. Elevator was being repaired, a bit of a pain because of the operation, but the staff was really friendly and flexible because of not sure of checkout times and parking, because we didn't know when we would be finished. "Good location and value BUT ...."
We arrived for the last 3 nights of our holiday after spending 5 weeks overseas including skiing (therefore we had a LOT) of gear. We were totally floored when we were told upon check in that the elevators were not working - it looked like they had been shut down for quite some time for refurbishment. It was an ordeal lugging us all up and down to the […] third floor and to make matters worse my husband ended up on crutches on our last day there so that was a nightmare!! It's directly opposite a hospital emergency department, so expect sirens at all hours. Also I was very concerned about my 3 year old walking too close to the balcony railings as they look to be genuine from the 50s and the distance between them looked like a small child could fall through. Staff were excellent and very helpful, rooms were clean and well appointed (though one mattress in our room had a dreadful lean to it - but in their defense they were changing out some mattresses the day we left so maybe this one was just due to be changed), location was great - easy walking distance to Robson St and Granville St. All in all I liked the place but I don't think I would stay again with my family (young kids). This is a great place for a couple or singles to stay but not really very disabled/family with young kids suitable in my opinion. Mehr

"A Hidden Gem"
We stayed in the Burrard one night to take advanged of the Vancouver night life. What a great choice. The staff were excellent, the room was lovely and the amenities worth every penny. The 50's motel theme was cool too. A great price for a great hotel in the centre of the downtown Vancouver core!

"Hipster Hotel"
Pros: -Nice comfortable bed, loved the retro, clean-look decor of the room. -Decently priced rooms. -Liked the quirkiness of the inn itself (piped in music in the atrium, amusing signage, etc.) and front desk person was very helpful and professional. Cons: -Elevator was out of commission during our stay so we had to use the stairs. Good news is there […] are only 4 flights max to walk up, bad news is lugging over-sized luggage up those 4 flights is a ginormous pain. -Nice pictures of beautiful people were laid out on the bed courtesy of the hotel, but I would have preferred a little pamphlet describing the hotel and it's features (parking, telephone, etc.) -Hair in bottom of the fridge. Yikes. On the whole, I would recommend this inn to others, I'm pretty sure the last point was an anomaly. I'd definitely stay here again. When they get their elevator fixed. lol Mehr
