Gallaghers Hotel - Letterkenny

Really enjoyed my stay,its a beautiful hotel.Breakfast was lovely,the staff are really helpful & polite. My room was beautiful,loved the curtains:) Bed was comfy,just wish id stayed longer!!

The room was spacious, and well appointed with a fresh contemporary look and a very comfortable bed. The downside was that I couldn't turn on the heating as it was intrusively noisy. The shower was awkward as it had a material curtain hung so close to the wall that it was impossible to shower without the curtain stuck to my body, not fun. Wifi was only […] sporadically available in the room, most work had to be done in the lobby, which was an inconvenience. Mehr

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and warm. Had dinner in Mezzaine area and was impressed by overall standard of food. Would have no problem in recommending hotel to friends. The only problem is that the car park is poorly sign posted.

excellent location, hotel meal deal beat other restaurants for quality and cost

Thsi hotel is very conveniently situated. It is a modern, comfortable an welcoming hotel that always seems to have an exciting buzz about it. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A great location for a night or weekend trip to Letterkenny.

the hotel was good i was a bit disappointed with breakfast the food was fine not a hot as i would have liked it but a good selection the problem was when you entered the dining room there was no member of staff there to explain what way breakfast worked we waited for a few minutes i could'nt see any staff when eventually a waiter did appear i asked […] where would we sit his reply was sit wherever you like.On the saturday night when we returned to the hotel we found that the hotel carpark was full due to a birthday party in the hotel there was no room for us to park the night manger said we could leave our car and leave the keys at reception an he would park it for us when the function was over but we were'nt happy to do this and ended up having to park on the main street there are signs all through the car park that it is for hotel guests only but apparently this is not the case .During the night there was alot of noise on our floor but the night manger came up straight away a quietened them down.All in all a good hotel but i dont no if i would stay there again Mehr

Excellent location at the top of the main street, off street parking, friendly staff and very comfortable and modern room - can't ask for anything more!

although the main parts of the hotel are very nieceand modern I feel that more attention is required to the bedroom,the chairs were old and stained the carpets were also stained, I feel that these two incident bring down the ovrall apearence of the hotel.The food was exellent at breakfast with something for everyone I would recommened this hotel for […] short breaks Mehr

Had a short 2 night stay here for a wedding elsewhere. Hotel was very accommodating in providing an early check-in due to travel arrangements and room was of expected quality and breakfast more than adequate. The voice in the lift could do with being turned downed little bit though as she does whitter on through the night!

This was our 1st experience in Ireland. Thought Letterkenny was a smaller town; would have chosen a different location. Felt uncomfortable with the parking area's security and had to be out in the rain. When you use the parking area you have to use the back door. This entrance seemed dirty. The elevators were small and their system was very confusing. […] There was only one pillow per sleeping space and the duvet was very noisy. Every time my husband moved, it crackled and woke me. The WFI was coin-operated and not complementary. I had searched for only places with Free Breakfasts and we were charged ours. The gal at the front desk was a bite short with me for asking about this. Mehr

stayed at this hotel on st.patricks day four of us and it was very central to everything a walk away from all we needed ...car parking great and free'and safe ...staff very helpful and friendly ..rooms were clean and very comfortable .breakfast was plentyful and good variety of food ..nicest hotel we stayed in ,in a while and would recommend it ...will […] definetely return and have mentioned it to my friends who have not yet been to letterkenny. Gallaghers Hotel Letterkenny is brill and is cosy and intimate. Staff warm and friendly. Great

Good hotel, convenient, Stayed one night for a band playing in Wolfe Tone Bar. Only problem was took us a while to find the parking! But thats being too fussy lol!

PUT IN ROOM 222 VERY CLOSE TO BAR NEXT DOOR. LOTS OF OTHER VACANT ROOM AND KNOW TO BE NOISY. NOT A GREAT CHOICE BY STAFF AND VERY POOR RESPONSE TO REACTION TO THIS
