hotel prima. schönes design. junge mannschaft und publikum. frühstücksbar naja, aber "paul" in der Rue Froissart 72 (nur 100 m um die ecke) ist selbst sonntags eine gute alternative. garage mit 25 € und nur 9 plätzen zu teuer. und auch nicht frei als wir kamen. aber am Gare de Bruxelles-Schuman ist ein großes parkhaus (15€/tag) ca 300 m weg. und ab […] 18:00 uhr sowie samstags und sonntags parken in brüssel umsonst. das "zentrum" ist zu fuß etwa 30 min entfernt. bei gutem wetter kein problem. bus und bahn aber vor der tür. "europagebäude" um die ecke. bügelutensilien, 42" flat, free wifi, wasserkocher, minikühlschrank, tassen und instantkaffee/tee im zimmer. der schön designte offene bad/toilettenbereich ist etwas hellhörig. :-) wir kommen auf jeden fall wieder. Ein neuer Style, der sich wohltuend von so manchen biederen Hotels abhebt: So gekonnt habe ich Lounge-Atmosphäre, Komfort und echtes Wohlfühlen noch nie verbunden gesehen. Also - hinfahren & etwas Neues erleben! Genial finde ich, das man nicht für einen Kaffee und ein Croissant ein ganzes Buffet bezahlen muss, sondern man ein ganz neues Konzept dafür […] hat - Bezahlung nach Items. Einfach, genial und eine gute Idee auch für andere Hotels. Lage ist gut, gibt sogar je nach Tageszeit Parkplätze in den umliegenden Straßen. Sehr zentral, nah an den EC Gebäuden. Fazit: Sehr zufrieden, so begeistert hat mich lange kein Hotel mehr! Mehr

für unser wochenende war es super angenehm und unkompliziert, in einer tollen zentralen Gegend, dazu eine klasse Bäckerei ganz in der Nähe (der Brunch war auch unvergesslich)! Sicher kommen wir zum nächsten längeren Aufenthalt zurück!

If you're a tourist, this hotel may be a little out of the way. You got to take the Metro to Grand Place, etc. You could walk, which will take you 30minutes from Grand Place... (We walked 'cos the Metro happened to be on strike when we were there). It's a relatively easy straight walk though back to the hotel. Hotel rooms are indeed very spacious, […] which was a big plus. There's 2 mirrors provided in the toilet which we found useful when the both of us needed to use the mirror at once. The only downsides which we experienced was due to our key card and a rather clueless service staff. Our key card didn't work at first, which got fixed. You see our room was located pretty far in so having to go all the way down after a tired day wasn't welcome. After it was fixed on the first night, it didn't work again on the second night. Which made me wonder if the male member staff member remembered I'll be staying for 3 nights. It was the same member that mentioned he'll need to Google when we asked where is a nearby supermart. The hotel is not in the city center, but it's really easy to get there with a couple of metro stops. The room is very big and the atmosphere of the hotel is great. Our room was getting colder because the heater stopped working and before I could complain they called us saying that our room temperature was dropping, and they let us change the room immediately. Only […] thing which is not great is the breakfast, which is a bit too expensive for what it offers, but it's very easy to solve that problem in another way. Mehr

Fine, modern, comfortable hotel in a sound location. Very much appreciated the hotel's green policies as they made this hotel much less wasteful than others - this made our stay more comfortable and we felt more at home.

The room was big, lovely bliss products and comfy bed. GREAT blackout curtains. It was a couple blocks from the subway but we got there on a saturday/sunday before christmas so not much except a mini mart type shop is open until you take the subway somwhere. safe neighborhood, just not in touristy areas, which can be a nice escape. I stayed at the Aloft hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very close to EU headquarters, and a 5 minute walk to the Schuman subway station, and bus to the airport. The hotel itself is very modern and hip, the rooms are very large for european standards, the room is large for american standards. Rooms are clean with a great bath room and shower, free wifi […] was available all day in the rooms, beds are so comfortable. Also a nice bar, lounge area on the ground floor. Fitness is adequate and open 24 hours, also there is self laundry on premises. Overall I couldn't have happier with my stay. Mehr

It's a very cool hotel, but I'd recommend avoiding the lower floors. I stayed in room 101 (should have known!) and it was directly above the bar, where a DJ spun tunes til late. I was then disturbed by the bin men emptying the bottles - very annoying. Other than this and the rather weird breakfast arrangements, it's fine.

Aloft/Schuman in Brussels, Belgium is one of two such facilities in Europe. As the name suggests, its a new twist on an old industry, and in this particular instance, it works. When you walk in the door, you are greeted by a lobby that might remind you more of a mobile phone or tech store. The lobby is decidedly low frills, with the reception being […] a round "station" with personnel ready to help. What's to like? Early check-in, no questions asked. Free wireless Internet. A grab-and-go food option at reasonable-for-Europe pricing. Comfortable, functional furniture arranged in groupings that invite informal meetings and conversation. There's simple art, a (probably over-active) video display quartet and a rather odd digital "ticker tape" that provides news bites and off-the-wall facts ("did you know that goldfish are the only animals that can..."). There's a low-key bar that's busy during the week but quiet on weekends, when Brussels' 'Europe' sector is all but abandoned by the droves of EU workers. There's even a full-size, no charge pool table at the ready. Was the experience perfect? Of course not. The shower leaks under the door, and the Net went down for half a day, but for business travelers, Aloft is a short walk to Metro, an array of small restaurants and bars, reasonably stocked grocery stores and a good many European Commission office buildings. Only a short distance more gets you to the European Parliament. The rooms are open and functional, the beds inviting and the price is fair. Why pay for wood-carved reception desks, cheesy art and over-sized floral displays that you will only see twice a day if you even notice at all? This was my 16th business trip to Brussels but my first stay at Aloft. I will be back to both soon. Mehr

A very good hotel and friendly staff. It was very clean and neat and bathrooms were very well presented. Interiors and furnishing was of very high standard. Wi-fi speed was very good compared to other hotel wifi speed (by that I mean very slow generally in hotels). We had booked to this hotel as it was EU area and close to train and metro so useful […] getting around. Unfortuntely, train & metro station was both closed during the weekend which made it a lot harder travel wise specially as we did a late night check-in. Mehr

The hotel is modern and very roomy and well done. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. It is a short walk to the EU area and a short commute to the city center (the Schuman metro stop is a 5 minute walk from the hotel)..

This place was fantastic - chic decor, wonderfully friendly service - luxury at a great price, and definitely worth the little extra distance from Old Town. Really helpful to have the little help-yourself, 24-hour food store by check-in ---- European stores are closed a lot more frequently than their American counterparts, and I frequently found myself […] hungry with everything closed... not so here. A beautiful modern trendy hotel within 2 minutes of the metro from central station. We only stayed one night but we will go back to Brussels and stay at Aloft for sure - it was that good! The only thing we can fault it for is that there was a lack of towels provided for two people and they were tiny. Great location: Do not expect to be in the center, obviously, but it's two blocks from one of the most important metro stations, so it's fast and convenient. The hotel is ultra-modern, beautifully decorated, the staff is great, very young and great help. They have a self check-in/check-out couple of terminals, but they didn't work very well... so the […] staff was ready to help and they did a great job. Our only issue was with the breakfast, which we thought was included and they insisted it was not... but the rate was so good that we decided not discuss it. The breakfast from the hotel is nothing to write home about, rather short in options and the cost is never clear, but it's ok for a fast take-and-go. Overall, great experience, very happy to have stayed there, and would do it again without hesitation. Mehr

The Aloft Brussels Schuman was a fantastic place to stay - clean, modernly decorated, quiet, close to the metro (and really, close to anywhere in Brussels if you're willing to walk for 20-30 minutes). I have no complaints.

Very good experience at this hotel! I wasn't expecting much but right from the time we got there, the receptionist was friendly and checked us in at 11 am even though check in started at 2pm. The room was colourful and cozy and there was complimentary bottles of water and the usual tea/coffee. Nice big TV as well! best of all, the hotel had free wi […] fi and 2 computers as well as the use of the free printer. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend Aloft! Mehr

The staff are very professional and very helpful. Great service. Situated within 5 minutes walking distance from 2 Metro stations and next to the EU parliament.

This hotel is among the best that I have been to. Although Aloft is a limited service chain and rated as 3 star, its facilities are actually better than some 5 star hotels. The decoration in the room is very cool. It has free wifi, pool table and even WIIs. The location is pretty close to Schuman station, EU building and Parc du Cinquantenaire. Excellent hotel. Wifi was excellent and hassle free to set up

My Boyfriend and I decided to visit Belgium, we initially had decided to stay at a 5* hotel but when I compared the bedroom pictures I preferred the look of the Aloft hotel. I really loved the hotel and the staff couldn't be more helpful!. The bedrooms were extremely modern and clean and judging on the look of the hotel I feel it should be a higher […] star rating but It didn't have a restaurant so 3 star is probably the result of that. It really didn't make a difference to us as we decided to eat out each night. It's about a 10 minute walk into town, which is fine as you can walk through the park or around the large EU buildings. Great Hotel overall. Just don't use the parking garage. It is 25 euro a day, small and almost impossible to get in our out of. The rooms are amazing and the water pressure, wow! The only issue with the bar: They like closing it for special events.

My friend and I spent a whirlwind weekend in Brussel and we’re so glad we stayed. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

A new and fun hotel on a small street right next to the European Council building (Schuman Metro stop). I had a bright, large and modern room. The council was out of session so the area was relatively quiet and it was excellent value for money. I imagine that this hotel is heavily booked when the EC is in session. This is a great location to the European Union neighborhoods. Minutes walk to EU institutions, many beautiful parks, and other nice squares and restaurants. The walk to town is about 30 mins, which is worth the sites you see along the way if you are up to it. Free (I think, didn't use) gym, internet, and cheap do it yourself laundry option makes this […] a good option for those traveling on a budget but not looking to stay in hostels. And most importantly, halfway between the best frittes stands in Brussels - but you'll have to find those yourselves. Mehr

This is an amazing hotel by any standards - very modern, clean, and quiet. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The first day we left the room at 2 pm and they still cleaned it. Metro is not very far, but we actually walked everywhere downtown from the hotel. Would definitely stay there again. In fact, we are very likely to chose an Aloft […] in another city. Mehr

A very large modern empty clean solid room with excellent bedding and all modern equipment. Clean well lit hotel. Surprised to find the price did not include any breakfast. This extra breakfast payment of ten Euros at the desk then did not reveal the truth which is,., no food is being cooked there. I believe this is a new style of hotel and really enjoyed my stay. Helpful staff and great DJ's at night. Nothing to crazy like a club at all, but it was nice to go down stairs and play pool, drink beers, read the paper, or even play wii. We had a great time there.

Really refreshing hotel. A design thought on different levels. Great attention to details (like differing materials, various styles) good quality. Only thing I missed was proper food at the buffet (I took an MSG meal - I could have gone to the) adjacent quality restaurant though. Had a cocktail, read the newspaper in hipster livingroom, played pool […] with the bartender - It's not as formal as other hotels. And I actually did some work in the 'living room' while chilling later in the night. Rooms are perfect -quality and design thoughtful. See ya around. Mehr

Hotellet er meget moderne og funtionelt indrettet, og man kan i princippet helt undgå at tale med personalet, hvis man selv vil checke ind og ud. Skulle man ønske af gøre brug af personalets service er de meget imødekommende med at instruere i hvordan selvbetjeningssystemet virker. Det ligger lige midt i EU-kvarteret mellem Rådet og Parlamentet og man […] er på Grand Place på 15-20 min spadseretur. Der er en fin sandwich/frokost og morgenmadsordning og en stor hall med afslappede møbler og spil til fri afbenyttelse. Der kommer jeg gerne igen. Mehr

très très bon séjour vraiment à refaire , conseil à tout monde mieux vaut s'y prendre plutôt car beaucoup fréquenté , quartier calme , personnel sympa et agréable , mieux vaut visiter Brussels en metro galère pour se galerer et des ploliciers et leurs sirenes de partout , merci à tout le personnel pour la visite

Avis plus que mitigé! Nous avons dû changer de chambre la 1ere nuit à cause du bruit de la musique du bar. Et malheuereusement pour nous, la 2nd chambre que nous avons eu avait des odeurs de remontées d'égout dans la douche. Dommage car l'hôtel est joli, le staff est sympas et les chambres sont belles

Ett otroligt välstädat, fräscht och modernt hotell. Man blev mycket väl omhändertagen vid incheckning. Fick tips om att det fanns en city karta att hämta i receptionen efter att vi installerat oss på rummet. Väl tillbaka i receptionen fick vi många bra tips på vad man kan se och sevärdheterna markerades på kartan. Vi fick till och med tips på vilka […] ölsorter som var extra bra. Varje gång vi gick förbi receptionen fick vi trevligt bemötande från den unga, men mycket kunniga personalen. Rummet var som sagt väldigt fint, dock lite mörkt eftersom det inte fanns någon taklampa. Luktade också lite avlopp men eftersom allt annat var så bra kunde vi inte med att klaga på det. Finns ett litet kylskåp på rummet vilket var perfekt att förvara lite att äta på kvällen eller på morgon. Mehr

Fri pool og aktiviteter på hotellet Voucher til bar/deli, hvis man undlader rengøring på væreslse. Klart det bedste hotel - og jeg har prøvet en del i Bruxelles!
