Hotel Golden Star - Prag

Das Hotel hat einen super Eindruck gemacht. Sauber, lecker Frühstück usw. Mit Koffer ist es für uns, da wir recht sportlich sind, gut zu erreichen gewesen. Es liegt aber in Hanglage, wenn man also schlecht zu Fuss ist, sollte man auf ein anderes Hotel ausweichen. Ansonsten alles Bestens.

Hotel incl. Frühstück sind gut. Anfahrt ist ohne Navi nicht ganz einfach. Die Parkmöglichkeiten in Hotelnähe sind beschränkt. Vorherige Reservierung einer Parkmöglichkeit (kostenpflichtig) ist notwendig.

Alles in Allem ein sehr schönes Hotel. Trotz Buchungsschwierigkeiten wurde alles getan, uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Das das Wasser einen Tag nicht funktionierte war nicht der Fehler des Hotels, sondern der Infrastruktur! Für Menschen die nicht gut laufen können ist das Hotel nicht zu empfehlen. etwas beschwerlich zu erreichen, an steiler Straße, aber schöne Zimmer und schöner Blick; teure Getränke, schlechtes Fernsehen

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, gleich unterhalb der Burg, die Aussicht ist grandios. Die Zimmer sind lieblich eingerichtet, das Personal freundlich und das Frühstück für Prager Verhältnisse sehr gut.

Super Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliches Personal, optimale Lage. Sofort wieder....

This place was great. It was extremely close to everything. Parking was a bit tough because we had to park about 15 minutes away due to street cleaning the next morning..yes they towed your car if it was there, but that is only one day per week. Since it is in such a great location of shops and bridges, etc, there was a lot of foot traffic late at night. […] With the windows open, it was a bit loud. You could also hear people in the halls and above our room. I would certainly go back due to the location. Staff was great, helpful and friendly. They even called the room early the next morning to make sure we had moved our rental car. Great place and a great value. Booking through this website was also a better value. Through a .cz site, it was significantly more. Through Hotels.com, it was in u.s. $ so cheaper than Euros. Mehr

Floor & Wall are too thin that you can hear foot steps or talking from the rooms next to you. After all, it's a old building. And it's far from tram stop. So you have to walk uphills for 5 minutes from the nearest tram stop. But good things are it's right under the castle. It's quiet area at night. Hotel is renovated in 2000, equipped with lift, hair […] dryer and air-conditioner. Bathroom and towers are clean. Breakfast is good with varieties. We stayed at Hotel Golden Star for one night. It was an absolutely enjoyable visit in every respect. The room was spacious and had an incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. The breakfast was satisfactory with choices for everyone. We were also given bottle of wine to enjoy our stay. This hotel is old, beautiful, completely updated with modern amenities, walking distance to all of historic Prague with very close proximity to Prague Castle. It's atop a hill on a charming cobblestone street. If you're visiting Prague - stay here!

I went there recently with my boyfriend for our summer vacation and it was an awesome experience. The hotel was very nice and clean. the view from our room was beautiful! you could see mala strana from the window. Bathroom was nice and clean but the only inconvenience was it didn't have a shower it was only a bathtub so it was kind of hard to take a […] shower without making a mess. The location is convenient for walking around mala strana but if you're planning to walk to the hotel with your bags I highly recommend to take a taxi because it's actually located uphill on Nerudova street. Aside from that I had a really nice experience and I would definitely go back to this hotel. Mehr

A wonderful little hotel right on the slopes below Prague Castle. Full of hustle and bustle during the day but quiet and calm in the evening / night. Walking distance to Charles Bridge. Service minded and very friendly staff. We will return

This hotel is gem of a building which looks as though it has been recently refurbished, with lovely rugs and interesting tapestries on the Walls. The 3- person room we had was actually a suite with two rooms, two bathrooms and a separate loo - all very luxurious and comfortable. The views over Prague from the hotel windows are stunning and the castle […] is a short uphill walk away. Hotel staff were without exception polite and helpful and it was a real pleasure to stay here. We will definitely stay here again as this place is great value for money. Mehr

This hotel is in the VERY BEST location - right at the turn of the road - going up leads directly to the castle, and down leads to the Charles Bridge. At night (well anytime) we could look out our window and see such a beautiful view of both the castle and the city. There was no airconditioning, but since the evenings were in the low 50's - no problem. […] The front desk people were very helpful and spoke great English. I would highly recommend this place. As others have reported, we too were shuffled off to another hotel with a written explanation that there was some undesscribed and general problem with our reservation. I noted though, that two other parties arrived while we were waiting for the free taxi to take us to our new hotel, and they checked-in with no problem. For the Hotel Golden Star, I […] can report that you will need to either take a taxi or take the subway from the main train station in Prague to a close stop and then walk up a very long hill. But the view is worth it. It would have been nice to stay there. The rest of the review is for the hotel they sent us too, the Bishop's Inn. We were going to call Hotels.com right away and get our money back and book another hotel. However, while the room may not have been as good, and the view nowhere near the same, the convenience to the things we wanted to do was unbeatable. When you leave the hotel you walk about 70 feet and you are on the Charles Bridge. From there you can get to just about all the great places to explore in Prague. It was also just a short walk to the subway that we could then take to the main train station. The neighborhood was safe and at all hours we could leave and go to places to eat and explore. The room was average for the price range and while hot during the early July season we were there, did cool off at night with the windows open. I would recommend the Bishops Inn to others who want the convenience. After staying two nights, my wife and I both agree that we didn't know what we would do if we had to climb the hill to the Hotel Golden Star that many times. So if you don't mind taking taxis, the Golden Star is probably a great choice if you can get in. But if you want a nice average hotel that you can stop-in and drop things off and get to easily at the end of the day, the Bishop's Inn is a better choice. Mehr

A very comfortable and clean hotel. Very helpful staff and a nice breakfast. There is a steep walk up to the hotel after sightseeing, so be in decent condition!

We had an enjoyable stay there and would stay there again if we made it back to Prague. They only bad thing was the long walk from public transportation but once there everything was great.

Good service, breakfast could be better, but ok. Rooms no A/C, so if your room faces the stairs to the castle then you're subject to noise until late night, depending on what's happening in the castle. Located in the middle of the hill up to the castle. If you're planning to walk ther city be prepare to walk a lot, beacuse half ot the atracction are […] at the other side of the bridge (Charles). I booked this hotel through a hotel website, after weighting several options starting by the location area: Mala Strana, recommended by a Czech colleague. Since arrival I appreciated good service. My room did not have cable internet and after talking with reception, I was moved to another room the next day. I thought: "well, they do not send the internet […] catches to the worst rooms". Most hotels in Prague offer free Wi-Fi, but I consider cable safer and faster. My computer electric plug was not compatible, and the staff helped me dive into a box of adapters. None worked, so the receptionist went to his car and handed over his personal computer cable. This was more than I expected. The staff assisted me on my solo walks, providing directions and tips. The restaurant has good food and is value price. A word of caution: just around the corner there is a pizzeria called Mystic. I went there and the lady owner was shouting like crazy to the staff. The waitresses seem ashamed and scared. One customer asked her to stop that, and she laughed, saying she was opera singer. Believe me, I appreciate a good voice when I heard one and this was not the case. I ordered pizza and beer. The table had a small pot with potato chips and I picked some while waiting for my food. The girl brought a giant glass of beer, but I though "whatever, that big was not on my plans but I will survive". Later, she brought unsolicited butter and bread. Well, I tried a couple of pieces. At the end, the restaurant charged me two Euros for the chips and another two for the bread slices. I think this is a bad commercial practice, so be ready for the opera and the complimentary chips trick if you go there. Well, thanks again to the Golden Star staff, from cleaners to managers. This hotel looks stunning, other tourists take pictures of it as they walk up the hill to Prague Castle. It is in a great location, although the hill can take its toll as it is quite steep when walking. The hotel is just as good inside as out and the rooms are very clean and well equipped. We are a family (2 adults and a daughter (17 y.) We are very happy of beeing in Golden Star Hotel in Prague. The room was big and confortable and the view of the city from our window was INCREDIBLE. The person that work in the hotel help us always. We were in a great area beside the Castle of Prague. We recomend this hotel!!!!

This hotel was more than I expected. Everyone was amazingly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was gorgeous. We ate at the restaurant the first night and were delighted to be served an authentic Czech meal for a very affordable price. Our room was amazing!! There was a seperate sitting room with a chaise, armoire, tv, and bathroom. The bedroom was […] large a roomy with a seperate bathroom and large windows looking over the square in front of the hotel and had a great view of the hotel and the Tower of Charles Bridge. We were only a 3 minute walk from the Castle. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but the staff was helpful in keeping our car and luggage while we walked around even after we checked out. Echt een mooi Hotel. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij !!! Wij mochten de kamer wisselen en dat was geen probleem. Kamers aan de wegkant zijn s'nachts vrij gehorig, aan de voorkant en de kant van de trap rustig.Lekker ontbijt, en restaurant is ook aan te raden. Zeer mooi uitzicht !! Op loopafstand van veel bezienswaardigheden. Receptie 24/7 […] !! Wij waren heel tevreden. Mehr

街の雰囲気にあったオシャレな外観のホテルで、スタッフの方も親切。また、プラハ城まで目の鼻の先なので、城とその付近の観光には非常に便利です。 坂の上にあるので上り下りが若干手間ではありますが（カートを引いていると特に）その分、部屋からの眺めは最高に綺麗です。

Nous avons été ravis par cet hôtel qui est magnifique est idéalement placé sur les hauteurs de PRAGUE tout proche du château. Nous le recommandons vivement, vous trouverez un personnel très accueillant.

hotel confortevole, non lontano dal centro (15 min. di cammino). vicinissimo al castello di praga, alla chiesa di san nicola e al ponte carlo. è situato al culmine di una salita ma una bella passeggiata fa sempre bene!

Praga è stata una magnifica esperienza in una città meravigliosa, e fortunatamente il tempo è stato splendido benchè fosse inverno: 3 giorni di cielo terso e sole. L'albergo si trova proprio ai piedi della scalinata che porta al complesso del maestoso castello di Praga, ed è perfetto per raggiungere qualsiasi luogo. L'unico neo è che Nerudova è una […] via in salita - o discesa, dipende dalla direzione di marcia! - e strada fatta tutta di ciottolato, quindi alla sera, se siete stanchi, farete un po' di fatica, ma le suggestioni del luogo non fanno sentire questa fatica. Oltretutto, è pieno di locali dove cenare, quindi anche se stanchi si può trovare un punto di ristoro per ogni tasca e ogni gusto!!! L'interno dell'hotel è delizioso per come è stato ricavato e le stanze, pur non essendo enormi - almeno la mia - sono perfette per il giusto relax dopo un'intera giornata passata a camminare. La sala della colazione è ampia e frescolina - d'inverno! - ma il buffet è di buon livello per l'offerta proposta, con anche pietanze calde a richiesta per ogni gusto culinario. Hotellet ligger meget centralt i Prag. Vi var noget skuffede over værelse komfort. Der var bestilt de luxe værelse til 3. Dette viste sig at være en ekstra opredning for enden af dobbeltseng. så det var næsten umuligt at bevæge sig i værelset. Det gjorde at ophold på værelset ikke skete ret tit.

l'hotel se situe dans la colline hrdkany, a deux pas du château de Prague. En descendant la rue nerudova (10 Min) vous vous trouverez en plein coeur de Prague, Mala Strana et puis a quelque pas vous serez tout de suite sur le pont Charles. Utmärkt läge i närheten av gamla borgen i Prag. Trevlig personal och en trevlig restaurang i hotellet. Mycket backigt inte att rekommendera till personer som har svårt att gå i backar. Stort och fint rum med underbar utsikt över hela Prag. En mycket bra karta krävs för att hitta hit med bil, eftersom alla gator i närheten är enkelrikatade

Hotel precioso y situado excelentemente. En recepción una chica habla español y es muy amable. La única pega es que la limpieza de la habitación podría ser mas exahustiva y el desayuno es escaso, además el lugar del desayuno es demasiado pequeño

Et sjarmerende hotel i en stille gate nær slottet og Karlsbroen. Vi bodde i 4. etg og hadde en flott utsikt over byen. Ligger litt i høyden, dermed en god oppoverbakke når du skal gå hjem, men det var verdt det. Bor gjerne på Golden Star igjen. Trekker litt for frokosten, som var ganske sparsommelig.

Hotell Golden Star har ett suveränt läge i en mycket trevlig kvarter mellan Karlsbron och Slottet. Hotellet ligger mitt i en relativt brant backe och därmed passar inte för den som har svårt att gå eller för familjer med barnvagn. Om man fortsätter gatan ännu högre upp mot svenska ambassaden och Strahov kloster så får man sin belöning i form av en sagolik […] vy på stan. Hela Prag ligger vid era fötter... Mehr

Замечательная,уютная гостиница в самом центре Праги недалеко от собора св.Витта.Комфортабельные,удобные номера,приятное обслуживание.Достаточно обильные и разнообразные завтраки,вкусная кухня.хорошо готовят,прекрасное обслуживание.Планируем приехать сюда еще раз.

albergo in palazzo d'epoca, stanze spaziose esattamente come nelle foto del sito. Nel bagno non c'è bidet! Colazione a bouffet ricca sia calda che fredda: latte, succhi di frutta, thè, caffè, yogourt, vari cereali, marmellata, miele, burro, pane nero a fette, panini freschi, affettati, pomodori e peperoni, torta,...poi su richiesta fanno al momento […] uova in tutti i modi. Insomma una ricca colazione indispensabile per camminare per la città tutto il giorno. Da tenere presente che questo albergo è in posizione panoramica a 2 minuti a piedi dallo splendido castello ma ovviamente in cima ad una salita. E' bene tenerlo presente soprattutto se si viaggia con passeggini o carrozzelle per disabili. Mehr

Havde en fin oplevelse på hotellet. Billederne er pæne, og det snød slet ikke :) Værelserne var lækre og store, og rengøringen var upåklagelig (på nær et sengetæppe der havde hvidt "snask" på 1. dag) Morgenmaden kunne være bedre, men ellers meget standard. Venlig betjening fra personalet, som både kunne hjælpe med at finde gode restauranter (Cowboys […] i nærheden kan KLART anbefales) og spa-ophold (ca. 150 kr. på Alchymist hotellet, også i nærheden, rigtig lækkert). Beliggenheden for hotellet får 3. Man er tæt på borgen hvilket er fedt, men det er en god gå-tur op ad bakke for at komme til det, så når man er træt sidst på dagen efter at have gået byen tyndt, er det ikke lige en 1.5 km march op ad bakke man har brug for :) Mehr

Het is wel bergop lopen vanaf Mala Strana busstation, of je moet met lijn 22 een aantal haltes verder en dan via het kasteel tussendoor. Dat is korter maar 's avonds mag dat niet. Een halte verder en dan bergaf is aanbevelingswaardig en makkelijker. Het ontbijt is simpel en je moet om de warme eitjes vragen. WIFI kan alleen beneden. Badkamer is mooi […] en ruim maar het water is inderdaad af en toe wisselend warmer/kouder. Mehr
