JW Marriott Chicago - Chicago

I booked a king room and got 2 doubles. Kept being told there was no other choice or to keep calling back. Was there for 4 nights but still could not be accommodated and the front desk didn't seem to care!

The JWM in Chicago was a great surprise. I expected it to be good but it significantly exceeded expectations in every way, particularly in the physical facility. Also the staff could not have been better. Hard to beat. Now don't go and use this to raise rates. Ted

Great hotel, easy to find off the interstate, good service for the most part although we had asked for for some extra bedding at the front desk and it never came. Otherwise great service, friendly staff, great rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

My two friends and I stayed here for a night of a ladies' weekend, and we really enjoyed it. The bathroom in our room was gorgeous! My only complaint is that two double beds do not sleep three adults all that comfortably, and the hotel will not provide a rollaway bed per fire codes. Wonderful weekend. Staff and hotel was great. Very affordable compared to some of the other hotels within the immediate area.

This was the nicest hotel I've been to in years. Both my daughter and I were blown away by the genuine kindness and solicitousness of the staff - whatever the question or need. I am origionally from the Chicago and wanted a high end hotel near the West Loop. The only real choice used to be the W City Center, which I love, but sometimes it's good to have a little variety. I'm glad there are other options in the area now. It was just a short walk to my favorite spots in Greek Town and all the new restaurants and bars in the […] West Loop. JW's Marriott's never disappoint and this one was no exception. The decor was classic with trendy twists, staff was friendly, and my room was very comfy. I will definitely stay here again! Mehr

I have been to Chicago several times, however this hotel made my most recent trip wonderful. Location was amazing and the hotel was beyond my expectations. I will be back for sure.

The room was great...huge bathroom. The only downside is the hotel is in a part of town that is very quiet on the weekends. There were not a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We were with our five year old daughter, so the choices were even more limited. Staff was very nice at the hotel.

This hotel is a great place to stay. The lobby is beautiful and the decor of the hallways and rooms is great. The workout room is perhaps the best hotel fitness area I've ever seen. All of the equipment is new and there is a lot of it - weights, machines, treadmills, elliptical, even an aerobic studio. The valet parking is extremely high priced, so we parked two blocks north in a garage for a fraction of the cost. Easy access to the "L" and the Redline train. I'm blown away at how much value I got for my dollar by booking the JW Marriott through Hotels.com. One minute walk to the Willis Tower, 5 minutes from Michigan Avenue, the hotel was in a great location. The King sized bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless when we entered. Great hotel, great location, unbelievable rooms.

We stayed at the J.W. Marriott in Chicago this past weekend. The staff there is so friendly and helpful. One particular person I would like to mention is the girl at the desk when we checked in. My husband and I took our daughter and my niece to Chicago to visit the American Girl store. We stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel was very nice and the girls really felt special. When the in- room dining server learned it was my daughter's birthday, she returned with a complimentary dessert plate to celebrate. We were very impressed with […] the service at this hotel. They allowed us to check our bags at the front desk the next morning, so we could go sightseeing without all of the luggage. This was a complimentary service as well. We will definitely stay again. The JW Marriott is the place to stay for luxury in the Loop if you want nice sized rooms (as opposed to the Palmer House, which sometimes has mini-rooms) and luxury. It's close to the opera and public transportation, staff is very attentive, and it was brand new in 2010. Very nice place, I had a great deal on hotels.com, and I'd stay there again!

Our whole family stayed--2 adults, 2 kids--from the moment we got out of our truck to the moment we checked out, the staff, the service, and all of the amenities were TOP NOTCH! We will stay again and would recommend to anyone!!!!

The hotel is great and the serivce from the people working there was the best I have ever had in a hotel. My husband and I stayed at the JWM and attended a function at the Union League Club, only a short walk away. The Willis (Sears) Tower is only a couple of blocks away as well. The hotel is relatively new and was a nice surprise. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom luxurious with both a shower and a deep soaker tub. Beautiful hotel, great location, one of the most comfortable beds in the world. Would recommend to anyone - reasonably priced. Loved the smell in the hotel lobby - orchids maybe? Would stay there again anytime!!

Good Hotel. Not many restaurants around. Train station nearby.

I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. My mom and I stayed the weekend to attend the opera.
