The hotel is very close to the subway exit 4 of jungno3ga,and around 5 mins waliking time to insadong,the only disadvantage is that the room is dim,it's nicer to live in a bright room~

Clean budget hotel in central location in Seoul. Free mini bar (water and soft drinks) in the room which gets refilled daily. Friendly service although they don't speak a lot of English!

Room was mostly clean, exactly what to expect from a love hotel. Great spot to go hang around insa dong for souvenirs. Price was quite affordable. I'm happy to have found it.

This hotel was comfortable although our room was smaller than we thought it would be. It was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and some spoke English. The hotel cats is a love motel with a modern twist. Hotels have a flat screen TV, a computer, but no wifi outside of the lobby. The fridge has free waters and a few selections of soda. Hotel rooms could be cleaned better beyond the surface. For example there were brown stains on the ceiling in the bathroom. Also when we got to our hotel room (second […] time we stayed there) we were greeted with a surprise left for us in the toilet. over all the rooms were comfortable. If you are taking cabs, we had trouble finding cab drivers that knew the hotel. The surrounding bars seem to be geared towards the LBGT community. Stylish hotel would stay there again because of location and price. These directions to the hotel were spot on: hen you exit Jongno-sam(3)-ga via exit 5, there should be a super mart in front of you, cross the road and walk towards the right. After which, walk straight and cross the road again. You should see a Standard Chartered bank on your left. Walk down the small alley (towards four seasons its a apple logo), (after like 5-10 steps) you should see "Valentino" and "Man2Man" on your left, walk down further (like another 5-10 steps) and look to your left, it should say "Hotel CATS". The hotel was conveniently located next to Insadong-street and Jongo 3(sam)-ga underground (Exit 5). The pictures gave an impression of high quality and stylish design. Our reservation for a non-smoking room, but on the table there was an ashtray with lighter. I complained and we were promised another room - when going there I found the receptionist […] with ashtray in one hand and air freshener spray in another. It seemed that there were no non-smoking rooms in the hotel at all. We agreed to stay in the third one, which smelled least smoke. The room itself (Junior Suite) was ok to it's size, but the fancy feel of the pictures was not there. The bathroom was cold and even dirty. I saw three of the rooms (as we tried to find the non-smoking room) and all was the same. They had a shower scrub, toothpaste-tube, hairbrush etc. in the room and they looked really nasty as they had been used by number of earlier habitants. Overall I got the feeling that this was a love hotel meant for the local couples for couple of hours of stay. We luckily had our reservation in 2 separate bookings and stayed only 2 days. Staff are nice and try to explain as much as they know even their english isnt very good.. Very near to the metro station exit 5 of Jongno sam-ga.......it is a convenient location, many restaurants, convenient store....the Namin Island bus stop is also nearby.... quite worth staying at such price range.

The room wa svery small. The room was very dark with no opportunity of increasing lighting quality. There is NOWHERE to hang luggage as there was no wardrobe in the room. Strange, as where are guests supposed to hang clothes?? The hotel is definitely classed as a "love hotel". Will not be returning.

this hotel is quit easy to go anywhere, just less than 10 minute to the train station so overall is okay.. but inside the room and out outside the walkway is very very dark. so i hope they can put more lightly.

Hotel is a bit difficult to find since very few can read or speak English, which would have been no problem if we had the address written in Korean language. Rating of the location and neighbourhood depends on what one is looking for. We liked the Korean small business area which has character, is clean and people are very friedly.

My stay at Hotel CATS was pleasant due to the friendly hotel staff. Though they spoke limited English, they were really helpful and friendly. The location is very accessible as it's probably just a 5 minutes walk from Jongno-sam(3)-ga exit 5 but it was hard looking for the hotel on the first day as there were no signs, despite the proximity. We had […] to ask for directions and a kind gentleman led us there, otherwise we'll never be able to find it on our own. When you exit Jongno-sam(3)-ga via exit 5, there should be a super mart in front of you, cross the road and walk towards the right. After which, walk straight and cross the road again. You should see a Standard Chartered bank on your left. Walk down the small alley, (after like 5-10 steps) you should see "Valentino" and "Man2Man" on your left, walk down further (like another 5-10 steps) and look to your left, it should say "Hotel CATS". If you're intending to buy a lot of stuff for commercial use, you may wish to note that most taxis do not want to go into the alley (too small) but it shouldn't be a problem for most. The hotel also doesn't provide EMS services unlike East Gate Hotel and neither does it have weighing scale if you wish to maximise your baggage limit. Also, the wifi is connection is only in the lobby and not in the rooms. There's a computer in the room (I presume there's wifi lan cable connected) though. Location wise there were PLENTY of food choices near the hotel and it's very near Insadong (just walk straight down the food street and turn left when you reach Skinfood). Plus, it's just a few train stops from popular places such as Seoul Station, Myeongdong and Dongdaemun. Mehr

Sure, it doubles as a love hotel. But it's also very conveniently located and with good rates. Room was small but had a nice bed, big TV, computer, free beverages in the mini bar, hair dryer, hair spray, lotion, condoms etc. Plus - free icecream in the lobby! Staff was wonderful but didn't speak much English. Wifi in the lobby. A bit tricky to find […] though. Exit 5 from Jongo Sam (3) Ga is the closest. However, exit is a bit hard to find within the station itself. If/when you do find your way to the surface through exit 5, the hotel is in a small alley with some gay bars (Valentino and Man 2 Man or something like that). When I was there, you could see a rainbow flag on your right when looking into the alley. If you see a big, grey building with traffic passing underneath it in a tunnel through the building, you're close. If you exit the exit and look towards the tunnel building (12 o clock direction), the alley should be at around 3-4 o clock. Close to Insadong and very cute area Bukchon. It's a good hotel, good location. Near most tourist places. Also the staff is really nice but dont understand that much english but are helpfull to call the free interprentation line when needed. Computer in the room is a bit outdated and lan cable was unable to connect on own laptop . Wifi in the lounge was very good ^^

overall this hotel is good, easy to get food, very near from subway station jongno-3-ga exit 5, near to insadong just 5 minute walking, near to changdeokgung palace just 15 minutes walking. from the airport you can use subway (if you dont have alot of bagage), or airport limosine bus 6011 anguk station stop and walking about 15 minutes. from the hotel […] to airport you can also use 6011 but in opposite side when you've come. From the anguk station stop, walking until you get traffic light, turn right and walking about 10 minute. if you're confuse you can ask tourism information airport in gate 5-6 to get map and airport limosine information. Nice hotel with helpful staff, and not that expensive. Everything provided is free (internet, drinks, ice cream, etc.). It is located right in the middle of a traditional commercial streets with a huge number of traditional korean restaurants, very close to touristic places (insa dong, temples, etc.). very good overall experience.

The hotel is at a very good location near a subway station with a escalator exit (in a backstreet, but still easy to find). The subway station is also a junction of 3 different lines, so it was quite convenient. As with any othe place in Seoul, there's a convenient store right around the corner. The streets downstairs comes alive at night with many […] food stalls (but they all appear to sell the same thing). It's a short walk to Insa-dong, which is famous tourist shopping area for handcrafts. We stayed in a Deluxe room (the cheapest). The hotel room is smaller than expected, but the desired facilities: bed, big TV, kettle, fridge, Air con, toilet, shower (and a desktop PC). Interior design was good, but poorly finished (well, my wife is an interior designer so she likes to comment on the details). The size of the room would be fine for 1 person, but a bit small for both me and my wife. We would definitely go for a roomier option if we go back. There's daily room service to change the towels, but we did not get our coffee replenished for 4 days. And we ran out of toilet paper for 1 night. The room smells of cigarettes for some reason (every day when we return from our adventures around Seoul). The air con clears it out, but it itself is quite noisy. When the air con is turned off, the room became quite stiff (early June) so we had to leave the air con on while we sleep and adjust it so it does not blow straight onto our face. No view at all outside the window. Not many English options on the TV. Most, if not all, instructions are in Korean. But the hotel staff at the desk are quite helpful. I was also informed by my Korean friend that this hotel runals partially as a "love hotel" for lovers who wants some privancy. We saw some evidence of that (including a packet of complimentary condoms in the room). But the discreteness of this business it did not bother us or any other guests I believe. good service,very clean,receptionist r very polite ,its definitely worth for the price . just the place is a little bit hard to find,but once u found its very convenient,and a lot of restaurants are surrounding that area.

For the price I don't think you could do better as a great location.(The hotel is down an allyway but don't be put off by this as it leads almost in to Insa dong.)The staff speak little English but are willing to phone the English help line.

Hard to find up a small alley. Even the taxi driver did not know where it was.Very modern, every convenience.Plasma TV ,free internet . Drinks etc free in fridge even free icecream in foyer. People on reception helpful but do not speak great english. Phoned us a taxi on leaving and let us leave our bags there most of day.Good location in the centre […] of everything.Its a love motel with very subdued lights both in the room and hallway. Mehr

The hotel was excellent for the money. It is much better than the price had lead me to believe. My expectations were low, but pleasantly exceeded. The room was big and well-equipped (large flat-screen TV with surround sound, small refrigerator, computer with internet access), and the shower was of a surprisingly modern design. Want a romantic stay in Seoul, pay a little more for better hotels, dont spoil it because u found a CHEAP hotel. I'm pretty sure you dont wanna ruin ur pretty sleep and romantic holidays :) tips. photos r not updated.

We could not find this hotel because it is on a random back ally. This is a Love Motel. We did not stay the second night.

房間非常多的灰塵，有點昏暗,浴室還有上為客人留下來的東西阿..時在不是很乾淨。.不過交通真的非常便利 步行兩分鐘就能到鍾路三街地鐵站 服務人員都很親切

位置方便,但房間燈光非常暗,插蘇位得一個.

1.服務品質不是很好,當天住的冰箱故障,隔天告知櫃檯人員,結果晚上回飯店依就沒有處理2.衛生也不是很好,置物的盒子都有灰塵,像是很久沒有旅客入住一樣

hotel cats 的交通極之方便，在地鐵站很近的位置，最重要的是那個地鐵站是有電梯可以上地面的，對於提大件行李來首爾購物的人是最大好處。酒店有地暖，非常暖和。他的位置離仁寺洞步行街很近，離東大門也只有兩站地鐵。我下次去首爾，還是要住這裡！

位置极好，离钟路三街地铁站相当近。附近吃饭的地方很多。可以walking去昌德宫、仁寺洞。酒店设施齐全，房间不大，干净。服务人员英文不太好，简单交流尚可。入住时发现房间有点问题，酒店马上换了另一间更好的给我们住。唯一遗憾是酒店没有早餐、没有洗衣设施。

地點算是方便,但房屋廁所污積很多,滿是塵垢,牙膏各樣全不是新,不值這價錢

酒店地理位置还可以，离仁寺洞很近。但是房间和图片完全不一样，价格贵的要死。房间里居然都没有wifi，只有一楼大厅有wifi。门也在很奇怪的地方，找也找不到。反正就是性价比很差

離地鐵站真的很近，從鐘路三街站走一分鐘以內就到了，而且有電扶梯，因此搬行李非常方便。唯一比較詭異的是，雖然韓國治安很好，晚上附近都會有很多喝醉的阿伯，可以看他們在路上發酒瘋XDD

交通很方便，男櫃員會講一些英文，有二次房門有問題，我們住在4樓，很有耐心的上來幫我們開門，其中一次是忘了拿卡片出門，被鎖在外面@@，樓下bar的人，複雜程度比較高一點，但大致上不影響人身安全，所以還好，飯店在巷子內，之前沒招牌不好找，現在路口有招牌了，好找多了，走個幾步路就到仁寺洞了，附近有很多小攤販，便利商店，也近地鐵站，下次還會再去住！推~~暖氣很強，不過有窗戶，所以還OK，電腦龜速，不太好用，但可以上背包客棧查一些資料。房價很合理。浴室有門，但不能鎖的，我們是二個女生去，所以還好，門是毛玻璃門，說透明也不透明。

鍾路３街駅からすぐで、頑張ればホテルから歩いて明洞などの観光地へ行ける立地の良さです。 部屋が薄暗く、お風呂はジャグジー機能が付いていて、ラブホのような雰囲気がありますが、 部屋は清掃が行き届いており、清潔感があって滞在中に一度も嫌な気分になることはありませんでした。 一番よかったのは、チェックインよりも４時間も早く行ったのに、無料で荷物を預かってくれたことです。 また泊まりたいと思えるホテルです。

酒店附近很多食肆, 半夜肚餓都可以出去買小食,行兩條街就到仁待洞, 很方便, 但酒店位置在小巷內, 夜晚回酒店要小心點

房間乾淨度真的還好 我住了4個晚上，5天4夜 每天一直都有頭髮 床也好硬 電腦桌底下灰塵一堆，床的四週也有灰塵 房間很小 服務人員女生態度糟糕 我朋友是韓國人，問這位女服務人員一件事 只是問她XX銀行在哪，只有回答一句很遠而已 是？惹到她什麼嗎 下次去韓國不會再去住Hotel Cats

ただのモーテルです、ホテルではありません。 場所もソウルでは一番と言ってもいいほど危ない場所です。 ここに女性が泊まるということは売春婦に見られてしまいます。

服務人員很親切，房間舒適。交通地點方便，周邊熱鬧！

離鍾路三街地鐵站超近的很方便,附近吃的也很多不錯

酒店交通比较方便，做6002机场巴士到钟路三街下，走不远就可以到，5号线钟路三街站5号出口出来就到了，离仁寺洞也就5分钟路程。

ホテルの清潔状態は満足していまっす。 ただ、タオルはもう少し白い物が良いとおもいます。 漂泊してもらうと、より以上に清潔感が出ると思います。
