Grand Hotel at Bridgeport - Tigard

Travis at the front desk was awesome. We booked one nights stay because my son was playing in a lacrosse tournament close by. We won our first game and thus needed to stay one more night. Travis arranged for us to stay in the same room so we would not have to move our luggage. He also arranged a late check out (1 PM) on Sunday because our game did not […] end until Noon. The hotel is fairly new and thus the rooms are in good shape. Beds are comfortable and the snack shack at the front desk is a mini convenience store with most of the things you might want (water, coke, ice cream, wine beer). I will definitely stay here again. The Grand Hotel was an unexpected surprise for our weekend getaway. From the moment we pulled up this hotel and its staff surpassed all expectations. I recommend it to anyone. This is a fairly new hotel and it shows. Unlike many, the luxury feel of the lobby does extend to the rooms which are clean and fresh with windows that open. The bathroom was huge with a separate shower and tub, beautiful modern tiling and colours. […] The beds were firm yet comfortable. A nice love seat to sit on and a real desk to use for work and calls, and still room enough to setup a roll-away cot for our 5th person. The breakfast buffet is a super bonus, excellent food and pleasant staff. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming every time you pass by. It's right off the interstate so it was an easy drive into Portland city centre for our touring. We will stay here again next time we go to Portland (a great city I might add). Mehr

Over all, it was a very nice weekend. The check-in staff were courteous and professional. Ample parking was a welcome surprise. Even though there was a huge contingency of kids staying there for a basketball jamboree, it was very quiet in the hallways and we slept well. The only disappointment I had was realizing that the room attendant did not change […] out our dirty coffee cups, but rinsed them (not very well) and turned them upside down on the doilies in the bathroom, one was still wet and one still had residue from use. I travel a lot and this is the best hotel I've stayed in for the money. Spending twice as much gets you a little bit better hotel, but I was very impressed with this hotel. Rooms were very large and very clean. Lobby is very nice and breakfast was more than decent for a hotel breakfast to get you going for your morning meetings. When I travel for business […] I tend to order room service (not available by the way) or try and find something very close by for dinners. This hotel is very close to a Whole Foods for basic things as well as several good restaurants. Onlyreal complaint is it is right on several busy streets and interstate is right there and the hotel is not super quiet. Walls are thin and you hear everything. Even for low flow showers, the water pressure was very low and barely hot enough, but small gripes. I would stay again. Mehr

The room was big, and the bed was comfy. Service was great. My only comment is that the clock in the room was 2 hours behind, and we missed breakfast. So just beware of that, luckily we asked for a late check out. Lost 2 hours of my day!

This hotel has a fantastic walking location to the movies, restaurants and the beautiful Bridgeport Mall. It was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed out and has large rooms. It was immaculate, tastily decorated with friendly staff. They also offer a good morning breakfast.

The free breakfast was terrible! Biscuits and Gravy, THE WORST. Biscuits were so hard you couldn't even break them in half. The gravy had some sort of meat but was not recognizable by taste. Sausage links, also, not so good. The TV in our large room was small and clear across the room. Very hard to see. Found a gum wrapper next to the bed and one of […] the coffee cups in bathroom was sticky. An extra blanket wuld have been nice. We had a great time at The Grand Hotel at Bridgeport. It was clean and the location was fantastic. Parking was very easy. The only draw back was that we had to pay a 10 fee for a roll away bed for my son every night. I think that this should be not a charge. The staff was excellent. Our only negative comment was the nosie level in the hallways but it was understandable because of a Christmas party being held downstairs. I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times now and will never stay anywhere else when I come to Portland! The staff is friendly and helpful every time. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is very nice and has a comfortable atmosphere. Everything was great except that the wardrobe in our room has some slight damage to it. The room was clean and otherwise well furnished. I would most certainly stay here again.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the towels were soft and high quality, I plan on staying here every time we take a trip to Oregon. This is a great value in Portland. Easy walking to Bridgeport Village. Free covered parking. If you are traveling around the Portland area, Quiet. This is a great location. I have stayed here several times and been very happy with every stay.

My stay at the Grand Hotel was exactly what I needed it to be. I was in the area for Lasik surgery and the shuttle service from the Dr's to the hotel and back was fast and efficient and friendly.
