Viel Spaß in Tokio!

"tiny room, but good staff"
staff friendly and helpful for travellers. Room is very small but has everything needed.
"Great Staff. Great Location. Great Price"
Stayed 2 nights and only wished we had longer.Staff are so helpful & Hotel well situated for public transport.Lots of nearby local eating places, Coffee Shops, Convenience Stores. 2 Underground Stations within a very short walk of Hotel. Kodemmacho(H14) on Hibiya Line and Ningyocho (A14 Asakusa Line & H13 Hibiya Line). We got a train direct from Terminal […] 2 Narita Station to Ningyocho A14 Station but had to buy 2 tickets - one for each section of travel. Believe this direct service only runs in morning and possibly evenings so on return to airport we had to change trains. We only bought a ticket to Oshiage (A20) but were able to pay the extra ticket at the Fare Adjustment Machine at Narita Airport - It was really easy to do.We found the Japenese people so helpful and friendly. We regularly had people offer to help us when we needed it. Lots of sightseeing. Went to Shinjuku for a meal one evening but struggled to get into a Restaurant as the places were just so very busy. The Hotel supplied Umbrellas, Morning Coffee,Toiletries etc etc..The one and only downside was that the room was small. The double bed is actually a three quarter bed up against the wall. We think this is standard in Tokyo Centre Hotels but we only used the room to sleep and wash so that is OK. Green Tea is supplied in the bedroom. We would return to this Hotel again. We found prices in Tokyo less than we expected which was great. Mehr
"I have nothing to complain."
The service in Japan is 5 stars even at the most cheapest places. The staff greeted me with a deep bow everytime they saw me, as if I was their king. I was pretty much the only foreigner in the capsule rooms. I had heard horror stories that capsule hotels are full of drunken salarymen who arrive late in the evening. But that was not the case. Not once […] did I wake up in the middle of a night, even tho the capsules have no sound insulation. The only minor con that I could mention is that the staff spoke very little english so a few times they misunderstood or didn't understand my questions. But the bottomline is that Nihonbashi villa was a great place to stay in! Mehr
"excellent value for the money"
clean, well equipped, excellent location to subway, good service, helpful staff, restaurants and stores next door, cannot ask for more, strongly recommended
"Hotel Horidome Villa, Ningyocho , Tokyo"
Great place to stay with effordable price. Great location close to subway stations and many restuarants around. Very good for commute to any places in Tokyo. All 5 star amenities in your room.
"Clean, quiet and excellent for budget traveller"
There is really not too much that I can criticize, especially in view of the hotel charge. This hotel is highly recommended for budget traveller who just needs a clean and quiet place for sleeping and showering like me. The closest subway station is Kodemmacho of Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line which just needs around 3 minutes' walking time to get to. Exit […] 1 and Exit 3 are the closet exits. Exit 4 is equipped with elevator to the platform which is more recommended for traveller with luggage. Restaurant is not provided but you can easily find many places around the hotel for meal. The sandle provided by this hotel is non-disposable, If you are concerned about hygiene, you can bring your own. Other than sandle, the hotel replaces disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, disinfected cups, towels etc every day. Shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap are sufficiently provided in the bathroom. Unlimited free wired internet access is provided inside the room. Free WIFI is also available at the main lobby. Free coffee is also provided at the main lobby in the morning everyday. I slept well every night, vicinity was very very quiet. The staff was really nice and helpful. No deposit was needed upon check in, unlike some other hotels. Above all, I am very satisified with my stay and will select this hotel again if I go to Tokyo again. Mehr
"Almost perfect"
A good value for the money and the staff was really nice. However, they should update the browser in the lobby's computer. It was expensive yet nearly impossible to use.
"Good Budget Stay"
Overall is ok. Room is small (as expected). Location is ok, have to walk a bit to the nearest 'happening places'. Recommended for budget travallers who want 'hotel' standard.
"A very clean and comfortable hotel"
I was staying alone, so the room was the perfect size for me. It was clean and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, and helped me with everything that I needed, including loaning me an umbrella for a rainy day. I would definitely stay here again if I went back to Tokyo, and I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you're […] traveling alone or with one other person. Mehr

"Nice Budget Hotel"
Strongly recommend to all who think of staying at budget hotel near Tokyo center. Walking distance from the nearest railway station - Kodemmacho(H14-Grey Line). Use exit 3, turn left and turn left again, walk strip less then 5mins to reach the hotel. -Free WIFI at Lobby 24hours -LAN cable available in the room -Free coffee from 6am-12pm
It is convenience since hotel is near station. Reasonable price. Staff were helpful and spoke English. In this area, staff of some convenience store can spoken mandarin.
"Hotel Horidome Villa"
Relatively clean & well maintained hotel for stay. But the rooms are pretty small thus if going with family with kids will not be recommended as the room is very small no more space for moving around. Even with the luggages ard we are not able to move around. Have to close the luggage everytime if we need to get something. It will be better experience […] if hotel have coffee & tea provided in the morning & evening. Only coffee is provided in the morning during my recent stay there. Mehr
"Bang for your buck"
Very good price for this small hotel room. I find it perfect since I don't hang around the room whole day anyways, all i need the room for is to freshen up and sleep, so this small little room is perfect for me and my wife.
"Villa"
1.Good location to JR,Subway. 2.7-11,family mart are nearby. 3.Some restaurants could be found near the hotel. The carbon BBQ at the ground floor is good. 4.Free wif access point at the lobby. 5.The room is a little same and the window could not be open in some room.
"Horidome, the place to stay."
A highly recomended hotel to stay in Tokyo around the Nihonbashi area. Closely surrounded by eateries, convenience stores, train stations of the Tokyo Metro and the JR Line, you wouldnt want to give this hotel a miss! The staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable on ways of getting around the city! Only downside is that there's no wifi in the […] hotel rooms. Mehr

"Perfect for a week in tokyo"
The hotel is clean, cheap, close to Tokyo Metro station(s) and does good service! The only downside is that there are no cheap clubs nearby where they speak english (for young couples), but that trait is expensiv in tokyo. The hotel reception also speaks well english and are very helpfull. The room is large for Japaneese standards, which is rather […] small for any big westerner, but then again everywhere is small for a big westerner. Perfect for families to stay and couples. I will stay here again the next time I go to Tokyo. Mehr
"A great bargain"
We were very pleased with our stay, especially considering the price. It must be noted though, as other reviewers have mentioned, that the rooms are very small, basically no floor space, but if you're ok with that then you shouldn't have any complains. It never really bothered us at all. The location is quite good, less than 5 minutes to a couple of […] subway stations, several 24 hour convenience stores in the neighbourhood (one right next to the hotel), several places to eat etc. Staff spoke English and were very helpful. Mehr
"Nice"
It's convenience to live in. And they can speak English and provide good service. Recommend!!
"Great Location - Free coffee"
Great location - close to the subway and JR Lines. Friendly staff, clean rooms and free in the morning which will save you some cash in Tokyo. Were able to leave our luggage there while going to Kyoto for a few days. When we returned for our last night in Tokyo, our bags were already placed in our room.

"Hotel Horidome Villa"
We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. No deposit upon check in, unlike some other hotels. Very small for the 2 of us, but this is very normal in Japan. So we have no complaints there. We thought it was very, very far way from the town area, eg Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. This hotel is surprisingly near to Ginza on foot, we walked from this hotel to […] Ginza and then back. It took us probably about 30mins walk. Near to train station at Kodenmacho or Ningyocho too, if you wanna take the trains to go to other areas. But if you are looking for the town area, you should prolly stay at Shibuya/Harajuku area. We loved this hotel cos after being in the busy areas, it was nice to go back to a nice calm neighborhood with lovely people. Hotel staffs are friendly, speak little English, (but there was a girl who can speak good English), and polite people. Finding food is good in this area (Chuo City), you can find Japanese curry, tempura, sushi, western and other types of food. Great food city! Would definitely stay here again! Mehr
"5mins to nearest subway Sta. Perfect !"
5mins to Kodenmacho subway sta. (Hibiya Line), Yoshinoya rest. & Convenience Store are beside the hotel. Internet is free & fast. Perfect !
"Horidome Villa - a convenient option"
Location is good, a couple minutes walking from Tokyo subway and a couple more to JR Sobu line. No breakfast included, but 24-hour Family Mart right beside. Room is insanely small for even European standards, but has everything one might expect, in particular for the prices you can get for this hotel on websites. Network connection with cable, wifi […] only in the lobby. North American clients may want to get adapters to plug their electric/electronics (at least the bigger ones): Japanese outlets have the same layout as NA, but without the third prong. Mehr
"Great Little Hotel"
Very friendly staff. Great price!
"Horidome Villa in Tokyo"
Very central but there is not too much other than restaurants and cafes in the immediate neighbourhood so you have to use the metro to get around, though everywhere is pretty close by. Hotel very clean, friendly, mainly English speaking staff. But a small double is cozy for a couple.
"An ordinary business hotel"
The hotel is within easy walking distance from the Kodemmacho station on the Hibiya line. There's nothing much for tourists in the immediate area, except maybe for Akihabara closeby, but the place is still central - you can reach anywhere with just one change of trains - and areas like Ueno, Ginza, Roppongi or Ebisu without any need for transfer. The […] hotel itself seems like a typical business hotel. It has no curfew and the staff seemed to have a tolerable skill in english, (at least during daytime - I never spoke much with the evening staff). Room size is what you'd expect in Japan. Solutions are efficient and as a westerner I never had any problems with the size or function of things. Of the available services I only used the washing machine and drier (coin types). I had no problems using any of them, despite all explanations being in japanese only. The cabled internet network worked fine, but I really wish the wire was long enough to bring your laptop to bed. After a long day of walking you don't really want to sit hunched up on a stool when you do your whatever you're doing on the internet. Next to the hotel is a cheap japanese drop-in chain restaurant (I forget the name of the chain). I recommend it for your bowl of breakfast rice (or noodles). Mehr
"OK"
Reasonably priced for Japan, but the rooms are really too small to feel comfortable. I felt as if I were living in a cage. It would be OK for one night but not more!!
"Able to keep our luggage for free"
I'm actually quite happy with their help to keep my large luggages for free when i go to visit Mt Fuji for 2 days in the middle of my stay. All i need is to stay with them again when i return from Fuji. Otherwise, they will charge 500Y per piece of luggage per day.
"OK but!"
The hotel is OK but the twin rooms are too small for two people to move around in comfortably. No place to hang clothes or place luggage.
Hotel staffs are very friendly and very polite. The location is not far from subway and surrounded with convenience store and restaurant. It is reasonable price for us.
"Simple hotel"
Stayed in one of the smallest type of room with my husband. It will still be ok for those with little luggages. But for those with huge suitcases (like in my case), we can hardly open it on the floor due to space constraint, need to do it on the bed. Need like 10-15 min to the nearest subway (ok for summer, but not in winter). 20-30 min to actually […] walk to Tokyo Station. Good thing is there is a 24 hr eating place nearby , a convenient shop beside & a upscale shopping mall 5-10 min away. Wifi is available, but signal is extremely weak (almost non existance) inside the room. Need to go lobby to have a strong signal. Wired internet is provided in the room so it is good for those with laptop. Overall, for that price, the room is sufficient enough for travellers with light luggage & dont mind walking. Mehr

"Super convenient location! Friendly staff!"
I was greeted by super friendly staff who also looked up and printed out maps for me. They wrote down everything in detail in ENGLISH so I can get to specific places I had planned to visit on my trip. Super convenient location!!!!!! Ningyocho area itself has famous senbai and nigyo-yaki and other eateries. Nigyocho and its surrounding areas - the alleyways […] which are all walking distance from the hotel, are definitely worth strolling around. Akihabara is walking distance from the hotel (15-20 minutes, depending on how fast/slow you walk). Also, it's literally in the center of major subway lines/stations - there's a purple, 2 grey, and one other line within 5min. walking distance from the hotel. Let me not forget to mention the convenient stores, cafes, restaurants, and supermarket, super cheap fruit stand (alley), etc. all walking distance from the hotel. This hotel is so worth the money! You definitely get more than your money's worth. Mehr
"very far"
very far from subway i cant recommend here the room is very small
"Hard to find"
Maybe good,but too small~
room size are not big, which is normal in Japan. It is very clean, and interior is thoughtfully arranged. Staffs speak English, they are friendly and helpful. Coin laundry provided on several floors, but closed at 9:00pm. quiet neighborhood, not much interesting places around. overall, it is a nice place to stay with reasonable price.
We was delighted by hotel with just 2,5 stares. Perfect location - subway was very closed, nice interior, clean rooms.
"Best option for thrifty traveller"
Close to many metro sand train stations, facilitating access to all of Tokyo and beyond. While compact, rooms are efficiently designed.
"good location good price"
Convenience location. Near few subway stations; Kodemmacho(h14) hibiya line and Ningyocho (h 13)(a 14). The hotel is new and modern style but small room, small bed. Still good for the economy hotel.
"Close to metro station and many places of interest"
The room is small and compact but they clean it and tidy room everyday so it is ok. The toliet is again small but well equipped than any of the 5 star hotels in the UK. It has an excellent bidet built in toilet, all the toiletries including showercap and razor and hair conditioner. The bath is small, you can only sit and have bath but it is nice, also […] a nice cubicle for shower. again cleaned everyday so it feels good to return to the room every evening. There are some beautiful temples within 5 minute walking distance but you would need to walk around to find them. Also two subway stations to get you to the hotel, both within 5 minutes walking distance. The staff speak good English, they also help you with any touristy questions you may have. There is a cable to use the internet for which you won't be charged but there is a charge to use the internet in the lobby. There is also a clock and alarm in the room. You won't find any cupboards to keep your clothes, just a few hangers. It is purely for safety because Japan is an earthquake prone area, that is how rooms are designed. Nice Coffee is served every morning from 7 am to 12 pm in the lobby. This is a fantastic hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them any time. Mehr
