Villa Valentina - Zadar

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes, geräumiges Zimmer in diesem privat geführten Hotel. Die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Distanz zur Altstadt von Zadar (10 min Taxi, 40 Kuna) wird durch die absolute Ruhe während der Nacht mehr als wettgemacht.

We booked for villa Valentina but staff advised us, very kindly, that roAdwork disruption noise was untenable. They rebooked us with our permission into the villa Diana. It was ok but the bed was hideously uncomfortable and we had to ask for bath towels.

I chose this hotel due to the good reviews by others, and I have to say I was very glad I did! Anna (the owner) was very welcoming - emailing me prior to arrival to offer the airport pick up service (20 euros), and offering to help with car rental and excursions. She gave us a very warm greeting when we arrived on Friday evening. We (me and my sister) […] had booked a studio apartment and it was a good size. We had a super king size bed to share (v comfy), kitchenette area (in the hallway between the bedroom and bathroom), and bathroom with large shower. The room had a long balcony with sea views, air con, and a TV with cable (although on the Saturday night - the only English channel we could find was the God channel!) The minibar was relatively cheap, with beer, fizzy drinks and water costing 1.5 euros each, and bottles of wine costing 7 euros each. The hotel is located off the main road, but this wasn't an issue, even when we walked back at night. There was a great pizza restaurant on the main road (approx 2 min walk) that accepted euros and kunas. Very cheap (compared to London prices!). Pizzas worked out at around £4-5 each. Beer and wine were also quite cheap. We walked along the coastline to the Old Town on Saturday morning. It took about 45 mins but the views were fantastic. All in all, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was a short drive to/from Zadar airport (about 15 mins). Also, the bus stops were only about 5 minutes walk away, and there were plently of places to eat in the area - either getting there on foot, or by taxi/bus. The restaurants nearby tended to be Pizzerias, but the pizzas are made fresh and taste delicious! Very friendly service from Anna and her family (her husband even drove us to the shopping centre on Sunday as we had a few hours before our flight home). I would recommended that you have croatian kunas with you, especially for the old town, as a few places only accepted Kunas. The ones that accepted both used an exchang Mehr

Anna and her staff couldn't have been more helpfull. Spacious rooms with a very nice shower. Loved our stay and the view from the balcony.

we stayed at villa valentina for 2 nights and we found it a very welcoming and friendly hotel. Ana is very helpful and told us about trips to the surrounding area. i recomend this hotel to everyone who want to visit zadar and dalmatia

The Villa Valentina was a very nice place to stay especially if you have a car. It is close to the beach (which I did not visit) but not close to the old town. There was bus service to the old town about 4 blocks away. The people were very friendly and helped in whatever questions you had.

Il s'agit d'un excellent Bed+Breakfast dont les propriétaires aident énormément le voyageur à passer un bon séjour. Il est néanmoins fastidieux d'aller au centre de Zadar à pied (1h par itinéraire agréable ou 30' par itinéraire infâme) mais il y a un arrêt de bus à env. 300m (mais le soir les bus sont très rares). Présence utile d'un bon restaurant-pizzeria […] à 200m. Mehr

Kanonbra boende! Ett mysigt litet boende med en värdinna som verkligen alltid var till lags. Hon hjälpte oss att hitta billig taxi, hyra vespa och fixa aktiviter. Är en bit från gamla stan men en taxi dit kostade bara en liten slant. Utsikten över havet och solnedgången var helt oslagbar. Rekommenderas varmt =)

We were 2 couples at this hotel, and met with excellent service from the staff, who always had a smile for us! We got very good information of nice restaurants and what to do in Zadar. We can recommend this hotel as it is a quiet area, clean, good breakfast and again: excellent staff!! If we go to Zadar again (hopefully) we would book this hotel ag […] ain!! Mehr
