Komfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). Ebenfalls direkt an der Interstate gelegen, somit 24 Stunden die Autos zu hören.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Klimaanlage in dem Zimmer musste den ganzen heizen, damit es abends nicht zu kalt wird. Das Bad wurde gar nicht von der Wärme gar nicht betroffen und war entsprechend frisch.

Kultsymbol ist die Space Needle im Seattle Center, die nur zwei Minuten mit der Monorail von der Innenstadt entfernt liegt. Sowohl die Bahn als auch der Turm wurden eigens für die Weltausstellung im Jahr 1962 gebaut. Im Seattle Center wird Oper, Ballett und Theater aufgeführt. Außerdem gibt es die Key Arena, das Pacific Science Center und das Experience Music Project (Museum für Popmusik). Ganz in der Nähe kann man sich im 36.000 m² großen Olympic Sculpture Park mit Blick von der Uferpromenade auf die Olympic Mountains entspannen.

Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden und kann das Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Allerdings ist es nichts für Leute, die ein gepflegtes Frühstück als Eintritt in den Tag brauchen, denn Frühstück gibt es dort nicht. Allerdings gleich 2 nette Lokalitäten, die gutes Frühstück anbieten: Das Citizen (2 Min) Fußweg und das Cafe Mecka (5 Min). Und eine Mikrowelle […] gibt es auch, mit der kann man dann das Nötigste aus dem Supermarkt gekaufte aufwärmen. Und 2 Supermärkte mit 24 h Öffnungszeiten sind auch gleich um die Ecke. Das Maxwell Hotel liegt direkt beim Space Center, wo einige Attraktionen angesiedelt sind (Space Needle, Exp. Music Project, Museen ...). Das Maxwell ist ein reines Business Hotel, Frühstück wird nur in Form eines Kiosk mit Kaffeeausgabe angeboten. Zimmer und Hotel sind modern und großzügig gestaltet. Sauberkeit im Zimmer ist top. Parkplatz kostenfrei. Lage in der nähe des Space Needle und des Seattle Centers. Downtown ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

We loved it and definitely will be our mainstay when we come to Seattle again. Loved, the good smelling Tommy Bahama products, Keurig Coffee, Free popcorn, Free water bottles, fun contemporary designs, Clean room and bathroom. Very nice and modern hotel. Not your standard boring decorations. Would stay here again for sure. Monorail is closeby and takes you right into downtown so no need to find a hotel there. Loved the big walk in shower too. Wonderful overall especially taking into consideration the good price! Loved it.

"Friendly Hotel, Fun, Funky Decor!"
The hotel is located near the Space needle in the north end of downtown Seattle -- a great location for me, as I was visiting my son who lives in the university neighborhood a short distance away. Walking to popular attractions like Pike's Market would be far, but the hotel provides a shuttle that can be reserved -- they tell me that it fills up fast, […] so be forewarned. I had a car, and they pointed me in the direction of some easily accessible parking. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful -- we counted on them for recommendations for dinner and we were pleased both times. There is a restaurant that adjoins the hotel (accessible from the hotel lobby) that is also fun and friendly, and the food (especially the pizza) was very good. There are quite a few restaurnats in the neighborhood within walking distance. The hotel provides complimentary parking in a secure underground garage; my only complaint was that the spaces were VERY tight -- lucky thing my rental car was so small. I saw several guests struggling to park. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed, with very hip and modern decor. I appreciated that the hotel soaps and shampoos were good quality and provided in wall dispensers -- much more eco-friendly and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit. Mehr

"Great Location, Clean and Pet Friendly!!"
We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the 'pet friendly' rooms were. There was absolutely no 'hotel' smell anyplace and the rooms were incredibly clean. The beds so comfy, pillows too! I loved the colors, so bright and fun, reminded me of Mardi Gras. They don't charge for bottled water like many others I won't name. They even brought us some extra […] bottles for our corgi. Which by the way was welcomed to walk through the lobby! They offered pet beds, bowls and even treats for our dog! It is within a block and a half from the Space Needle and some great restaraunts close enough to walk to. They have a great restaraunt in the hotel too, great pizza! The parking is free and in a locked garage! We will definately make the Maxwell our new 'home' when we visit Seattle! Great place to stay, no problems at all! Thank you...loved it!!! Mehr

I love Maxwell hotel!! I've stayed here at least 5 times and everytime it has been more than fantastic! And their new restaurant addition is great! Who doesn't love a bucket of rum ;) definitely recommend this hotel!!

Very clean & comfortable hotel with fridge & microwave in room but no crockery/cutlery to use if you want an easy meal. Handy to Space Needle and monorail into Seattle city also free parking when we stayed. The Maxwell is close to the city center with the momorail close by. The hotel is small and the desk staff was very helpful with everything from providing directions to a few emergency bandaids. Wifi and daily papers are included in the rate. The beds are very comfortable and the decor warm and appealing. Good supply of hot water in the bathroom with rain type shower fixture and Tommy Bahama bath products. Many places to eat are close. "Maxwell Seattle - convenient and great value"
Stayed at Maxwell Hotel for a last minute vacation. The decor is very modern and clean. It is conveniently located next to Seattle Center. The hotel offers free internet, but WIFI was a bit slow. The front desk staff was nice enough to lend us an ethernet cable to connect via cable instead (which was much faster). Although parking was free, it was […] difficult to find parking in the gated garage afte 10 PM (the garage seemed small) as most guests had returned. We got a third floor room with a view of the back parking lot. The room was clean and fairly large. It came with free popcorn, two bottles of water, coffee, mini fridge, DVD player, microwave, and small safe to store valuables. The hotel also had an in door pool and fitness center, unfortunately, we didn't get to use either. Overall, the hotel provides very good value, and it is conveniently located. This place has everything! Fridge, microwave.....and free popcorn, pool, cupcakes everyday at 230 pm, movies and dvd players, keurig coffee machines, a great pizza restaurant, an espresso bar, free parking. I loved the layout of room, I felt like I was in an apartment. I did not want to leave. Great pillows and comfy beds. Also plenty of great smelling […] soaps and lotion. This hotel was schwanky-cool! The staff was awesome and helpful, way beyond my expectations. Thye bed was the BEST EVER! The shuttle service was perfect to get us to Pikes and the train station. Stayed here last min for a friend's b-day in the neighborhood- LOVE. The decor in the room alone is awesome, super comfy bed and I love the Tommy Bahama bath products (huge bathroom- and not the standard hotel fare). "Convenience!"
We were going to attend the ballet at McCaw Hall. This was a wonderful location- we enjoyed walking around lower Queen Anne. The hotel was clean and the front desk was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying here and look forward to our next stay which may include an additional restaurant adjoining the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Spacious rooms with good coffeemaking facilities. The rooms are very clean. No carpet on the floor but some wood kind. Parking under the hotel is also free of charge. Very close to the Seattle Center. I can recommend staying at the Maxwell.

The Maxwell hotel is a very comfortable, clean, newer hotel with European touches and a great location. One block from Seattle Center, and two minutes by monorail from downtown.
