A great hotel with great value for money. Close to many places in Dubai and really liked it.

For the price, there is similar accom. available in Barsha for c. $50-70 less per night (e.g. Novotel); the bed in my room was far too short, and I'm not tall! If you're driving to this hotel, the location indicated on the Google map provided by the booking agent was wrong - very frustrating after a long trip to Dubai.

My stay at Centro Barsha was absolutely brilliant. The staff was warm and receptive right from front desk all the way to the housekeeping crew. The housekeeping was done properly and promptly, the rooms were neat and unfussy, the showers are well kitted out and the overall feel was one of a cheap and cheerful hotel. I should add that while the room […] I was in wasn’t particularly expansive, it was just the right size for me since I basically went to Dubai on a shopping spree and a site seeing tour - all I needed was a place to sleep after long “hard” days in the Mall. It also helped that the hotel is a ten minutes’ walk from the Mall of the Emirates and that the mall itself has a terminal for the metro so transport was easily accessible. Another plus for this hotel was that it’s located in the relatively quiet area of Al Barsha 1 and this made for nights that were peaceful and free of the usual hubbub of big cities like Dubai. My only gripe is that at AED 25 per hour ( approx. $7), the cost of the wireless internet connection was a tad expensive. Another issue might be the cost of food and drink in the hotel (AED 65 for breakfast, AED 15 for a canned soda and AED 100 for a simple a la carte meal). All in all, if I ever have to go back to Dubai for similar reasons, this is the place I’d check into. Mehr

Convenient locale to many destinations. Within walking distance of Mall of the Emirates. Clean, new hotel. Continental breakfast is a little lackluster and a bit expensive but convenient. Classic rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. Would have been nice if the internet was free.

This 3 star has a North American rating of 4 stars. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Nice lounge, Restaurant and Deli. Pool and Gym were good. Like Location - walkable distance to Mall of Emirates and Metro station Boutique - Not a plain Jane hotel Free Parking Deli - Open 24 hrs - Combo snack shop and mini-gift shop - Sandwiches, Pizza, desserts, […] basic toiletries etc. Dislike In-room wifi is expensive, but they have workstations in the lobby for guest access (Free). No Room Service Overall This hotel is ideal, as its convenient, offers a lot of amenities both in-house as well as close by, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Mehr

Great value for the price. Recently built hotel so everything was modern. A 5 minute walk to the Mall of the Emirates. Also just a short walk from metro stations so you can get around easily.

It was really above my expectation. Very nice atmosphere

The rates were pretty good seeing that we didn't prebook that much in advanced. For the price we paid (really low), it was very well worth it. The hotel is pretty new, so everything is quite new. The rooms were small, but everything else in the room was new. The bed was comfortable with 4 pillows, a plasma tv with around 40 different channels (incl. […] sports and CNN and discovery). Sufficient wardrobe space, a dressing table and a small bar fridge. The bar fridge wasn't as cold as I wanted it to be but I guess it's a bar fridge, there's only this much you can expect. There was complimentary coffee and tea that was replenished every day and also complimentary bottled water. In terms of furnishing, it was pretty. Reception/ Front desk service was soso. I mean it is not a 5* hotel, so don't expect to be treated like a 5* guest. Staff were friendly enough to help you, but sometimes provided inaccurate information of tourist attraction details (e.g. travel time, distance etc.) and also failed to provide sufficient details of the public transport (e.g. Metro only opens at 1pm on Fridays, there's extra charges when you call a cab etc.). Sometimes, you feel like staff were giving you an airy attitude - annoyance to things you were asking for etc. But I will say, for the price we paid, we were no where near paying for the service so I really wouldn't mind that much becos of how much we paid for the hotel room. But if you are a very service person and don't think you can live with some slight imperfection on the service side, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to you. Location is great - it is a short 10mins walk to Mall of Emirates. It is 100% walkable, and you wouldn't even notice the distance once you start walking. It is also 100% walkable to the Metro but the Metro system in Dubai is not that great. Overall, the hotel facilities are great, new and clean. Just service need a little more improvement. Mehr

if u r on a low budget this hotel is what u r looking for, it's convinient and accessible to mall of the emirates and sheikh zayed road, but do not expect services like dining in your room!!! No bell boy to help you out so you better go there with light packing! and finally I have changed 4 minibars within 11 days and none of them worked, so if you […] like your drinks cold just ask for ice! Het hotel is gelegen naast de Mall of the Emirates en de skihal. Ook het metrostation is op loopafstand. De directe omgeving van het hotel is niet erg interessant (parkeren en zand). Het (nieuwe) hotel is uitstekend. Mooie kamers en perfecte staat van onderhoud. Het is zeker geen strandhotel maar een goede uitvalsbasis voor een actieve citytrip, bijv […] als stopover. Mehr

This hotel was more than we expected.. It was very classy, clean and all staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to everyone..

Bonne hotel, plutot bien situé, 5min à pied du mall of emirates, 5min en voiture de cheikh zeyrd road, plutot calme. La palm est proches ainsi que tous les quartier classe (madinah jumeirah), la plage aussi. Je suis habitué à voyager à dubai pour des petites périodes, et il me semble que c'est le meilleurs hotel point de vue rapport qualité/prix. Je […] vous le recommande car l'hotel est est trés récent. Des taxis vous attendent si besoin. Une petite piscine trés sympa avec des sanitaires et douches modernes, ainsi que la salle de sport avec des machines modernes. Har bott på Centro 2 gånger hittills. Mycket nöjd med hotellet, jättetrevlig personal, riktigt fräscht hotell, trivs jättebra där. Borde vara ett 4stjärnigt hotell. Snygga moderna rum, bra gym, fint pool-område och nice bar :) Rekommenderar starkt med tanke på hög standard och inte skyhöga priser.

Mycke nöjd efter en vecka på Hotel Centro. Nära ett av de största köpcentren och Sky train. Väldigt trevlig personal och rena rum. Takpoolen besöktes många gånger under veckan. Hoteller håller en mycket hög standard för att vara tre stjärnigt!!

Ett jättefint hotell med mycket trevlig personal. Från hotellet kunde man se the emirates mall vilket bara var några hundra meter bort. 5-10 minuter med taxi åt ena hållet tog en till Dubai Marina. Samma avstånd åt andra hållet var man i Old town. Dubai är en vidsträckt stad där detta låg i mitten av denna sträcka. 350 meter till metrostation.
