Had a few small issues with the room, but they were addressed promptly by the staff. The front desk really tried to help guests. Would stay there again. Not too far from seaworld and river walk,

I would expect more from a major chain hotel that on the surface appears to offer all the amenities. However, there were two major complaints that went unnoticed and unaddressed by the hotel staff. First, neither the hotel's food service shop NOR any of the several vending machines had bottled water. There was no apology or explanation as to how this […] might have occurred. Second, when I was downstairs at 6:45 am in the restaurant, I stood for a full eight minutes at the entrance - and there was NO waiter or personnel to seat and serve me. There were three other tables dining, and one of them even made a joke about me being invisible and yelled towards the back of the restaurant, but there was no response. Since I was in a hurry and could wait no longer, I sat down in the lobby, where the front desk personnel had no explanation as to why I was not sat for breakfast. (As I was standing there, I saw two servers emerge from behind a partition, clearly they had been talking and not paying attention to the front of the house, but by then it was too late.) It's very possible I just caught this hotel on a bad day, but for such a large space, it was very sparsely attended to in terms of both wait staff and front desk personnel. If only all hotels could be this nice. VERY nicely decorated, clean, quiet and situated in the best part of the city. I would definitely recommend this property.

The only complaint I have is that the reservation was for a room with 2 beds and I was given a room with 1 bed. This was immediately remedied by the desk clerk. My granddaughter and I ate breakfast at the restaurant. The menu was limited and for the price, I was unimpressed by the food. Service was good.

To begin with I checked the reviews at hotels.com before booking this hotel. The family gets away for a night or two every month like a little mini vacation if you will. The hotel as shown in the pictures and videos is not accurate. We like to use the pool and it looked pretty big in the picture but if there would of been 10 people in the pool you wouldnt […] of been able to move. So that was disappointment #1. When we got to the room I was putting away some soda and there were half empty gatorade and soda bottles in the fridge and crumbs on the floor. Disappointment #2. So look past it, the hotel has a lounge, after we we're done swimming at about 9:30 pm we were going to the lounge but it closed on Saturday at 10 pm. Disappointment #3. Good thing they had a store near by. LOL. In the morning we went to make some coffee and the coffee maker was broken, we went down to the lobby to find some coffee.......nope it's $2.00 a cup. After I mumbled I will never stay here again someone brought us each a cup of coffee. The breakfast if you paid extra for it was a voucher for 20.00 well when you have 4 people 20.00 does not go far for breakfast. Especially when a bowl of oatmeal is 4.95 so needless to say we left without eating the "free" breakfast. That only cost me an additional 14.00 during check-in. The hotel was clean for the most part and the staff was polite. The sun deck was a complete disarray. We took the stairs to go outside and when we opened the door we found baby cribs, boxes, pictures......I thought I was in a storage room............Well I stay at San Antonio hotels quite a bit and this one I will not go back to. Let me begin by saying I have always relied upon customer feedback before booking a hotel and this particular hotel was awesome. Initially a little difficult to find, this hotel was clean, quiet and located in a nice area. The hotel staff, the amenities and the on-site restaurant were terrific. This hotel was built in 2010 and is modern in style with new fittings, beds, etc. It was very quiet and set back some way from the main road. We had a good breakfast, but did not eat other meals there so cannot comment on the restaurant or bar. It was nice to have the whole hotel non-smoking.

Everything was good except the food service was slow while the bar was great, and the desk clerk forgot our wakeup call one morning that could have been disasterous. BUT the room was clean and very comfortable.

excellent hotel - very convenient if you are looking for a perfect clean hotel with amanities. It is 15 minute drive to river walk. why pay double/triple to some old hotels which also charge for parking. Definitely will stay in this hotel next time when in san antonio.

Hotel location is a little tucked away from the loop, but not too hard to find. Just keep yours eyes open for the hotel entrance sign if you're coming off loop 1604. Hotel is about 9 months old, so it has an updated, modern look. Room was clean. Had a double queen room. Room was a bit small, but it worked for a short stay. Beds are raised so it's difficult […] for little ones to get on and off the bed. Beds were comfy with choice of firm or soft pillows. Indoor pool and hot tub was nice. Key access is required to get in so don't forget your room key. Room service food was average. Cost a bit high for food quality and portions received. Room service is offered only at certain times so make sure you know the hours if you plan on using this service. Free wifi is available. Signal was a bit weak, but it worked okay. Overall, we were pleased with hotel and would stay there again if in the area. Mehr

This hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes from shopping, eating and San Antonio zoo! Great place to stay! Rooms were very clean, staff were extremely courteous and professional! Would recommend this hotel to anyone! Great, great place!!!!

This was my third stay in this hotel in the last month. The first trip exceeded my expectations. However, on both the second and third trip I was told the rooms weren't ready. I arrived atleast 1 hour AFTER check in time. This most recent trip I was checked into a dirty room. After alerting the staff they were apologetic and assigned me a different […] (this time clean), but no attempt to make it up to me was made. Mehr

Lovely staff, very helpfull. Large room, lovely decor and huge comfy bed. We ate in the resturant which served good reasonably food and used the pool which we had all to ourselves.

My wife and I stayed here for a getaway anniversary weekend. Last time we stay on the river walk and the hotel was very run down; actually had duct tape holding the carpet together across the hallway. Anyway, I saw this hotel was new and since we new we wanted to go to San Marcus shopping one day anyway, we decided it was fine to be north of downtown […] San Antonio. The hotel was great. New, clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Like every hotel, it could have used more hangers in the closet. My wife would have liked a seat/stool in the bathroom for use while putting on her makeup. Most times the location was fine as it is right off the highway. There were 2 times when the traffic was really bad. We did not use a lot of the hotel services, such as the pool or restaurant. We were very pleased with our stay and recommend this hotel. Mehr

Although this hotel is not a resort, you will forget where you are and relax in a super clean, friendly, and welcoming place to enjoy. The location is close to all major routes and shopping and golf. Top of the list.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn while attending a conference at a nearby hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The hotel was easy to get to and close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. The property is only a few months old, shows no wear and tear, and still has that new hotel smell.
