Hotel Quintal las Alondras - Guanajuato

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Quintas las Alondras after I got over a few minor details. For instance, the hotel is not within the city center. In fact, it is several miles away from the city center and a mountain pass lies in between. Also, I had to get over the fact that there was no hot tub and no available massage service (which will be ready […] sometime this year). Gulp. Yes, after I recovered from those minor issues, my stay at Quintas las Alondras was quite pleasant. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and sincere. The buffet breakfast was delicious, the pool was warm enough to swim in January and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel was clean and quiet. The pool was very nice. The glass wall was a great feature which my children loved! The restaurant was also nice. The location is not so great as there is a four lane road right in front of the hotel. Nevertheless it is only a 10 minute straight shot to downtown if you take the tunnels. The first day I was there, the air conditioning was not working and knew I would never get to sleep that night. It was about 90 degrees even at night. So around 9:00pm, I started calling down to the front desk to get help with the a/c and the clerk kept saying he was very busy but would be right up. I called 3 times in the next 3 hours, and in the meantime, […] my window had a direct view of the front desk in which I could see the clerk was not doing ANYTHING this whole time. He actually stopped picking up the phone when I called after the 3rd time. Keep in mind I could still see him at the front desk not doing ANYTHING but hanging out there. Finally, as it got closer to midnight and I was still waiting for him to come and fix the a/c before I could go to sleep, my friend went down to the front desk and the clerk came up to look at it. He said it couldn't be fixed and now, at 12:30am we would have to gather up all our belongings and change rooms. We had to get up at 6:30am the next morning for work and it was unbelievable to me that the manager we spoke with the next day did not offer to take any money off our stay, or offer any services free of charge. Nothing. This was a huge inconvenience and was treated like no big deal, and was unacceptable to me. Mehr

This hotel is comfortable, however it does not offer the best service. In particular when it comes to their laundry service. I had asked the front desk to pick up my clothes for laundry and when I came back it was not picked up. Apparently they forgot, and left this hotel with dirty clothes. It was very dissapiointing, even though they promised me that […] it was gonna get picked up and 8hrs later it was still in my room. On the contrary, the bell hopper always seem to be upset, and not willing to help out guests. If he does its because he has no other choice. However, their continental breakfast is not bad, dont pay for the full breakfast (I think its a waste of money) there is plenty that the complementary breakfast offers. With that sais, I highly recommend the TACO stand that is right next to the hotel, it opens in the evening. I think they made best tacos ( and I eat a lot of tacos) you wont regret it. Mehr

A PESAR DE QUE EL HOTEL ES RELATIVAMENTE NUEVO, SE NOTA EL POCO MANTENIMIENTO QUE HA TENIDO; EN MI CASO, EL CONTROL DEL AIRE ACONDICIONADO ESTABA FISICAMENTE AVERIADO; SOLICITÉ REPARARLO O EN SU DEFECTO, UN CAMBIO DE HABITACIÓN, LO ÚNICO QUE OBTUVE FUÉ UN VENTILADOR; DE IGUAL MANERA, LA HABITACIÓN ESTABA MUY ENCERRADA LA ÚNICA FUENTE DE ILUMINACIÓN […] EXTERIOR ERAN DOS DELGADOS VENTANALES COMO DE 20 CENTÍMETROS DE ANCHO. LAS ALMOHADAS ESTABAN MUY ALTAS Y DURAS POR LO CUAL NO DESCANSÉ BIEN POR LA FALTA DE ATENCIÓN EN EL ASUNTO DEL AIRE ACONDICIONADO, PREFERÍ NO SOLICITAR CAMBIO DE ALMOHADAS. POR TENER GRIPE, TOMÉ UNO DE LOS DOS ROLLOS DE PAPEL DEL BAÑO, AL REGRESAR A LA HABITACIÓN, NO REPUESIERON EL FALTANTE; DE IGUAL MANERA, EL PEQUEÑO JABÓN SOBRANTE DE LA REGADERA NO FUÉ REPUESTO. HABLANDO DEL DESAYUNO INCLUIDO, SÓLO OFRECEN JUGOS, CAFÉ, HUEVOS REVUELTOS, CHILAQUILES Y FRUTA POR LO CUAL SI USTED ES DE BUEN COMER, CONSIDERE MEJOR EVITARLO E INVERTIR EN UNO QUE LE SATISFAGA MÁS. Mi novio y yo nos hospedamos cuatro días para disfrutar del festival Cervantino. En general la experiencia fue positiva y lo recomendamos ampliamente. Excelente: El servicio y el trato del persona es impecable, siempre muy amables. Las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas. El menú de desayunos tiene muchas opciones, deliciosas y las sirven en buenas […] porciones (buen café). Internet de alta velocidad en las habitaciones, es buena opción para trabajar. El gym cuenta con lo necesario y tiene spa. Areas de mejora: No hay cartas de menús en las habitaciones y se tienen que solicitar al restaurante para ordernar (es un proceso engorroso). El diseño de la alberca está muy divertido pero tenía insectos (mejorar limpieza). La alberca no está climatizada. Añadir un tour de las instalaciones para nuevos visitantes. A considerar: Está a 10min de Guanajuato, necesitan lllevar auto. El restaurante deja de servir a las 10pm. Nadie me informó que mi estancia incluía desayunos buffet y me enteré hasta el último día después de haber consumido a la carta en mi estancia. Mehr

Es un hotel muy bonito y bien cuidado. Está un poco lejos de la ciudad pero conviene dejar el coche ahí y tomar un taxi al centro porque allá es imposible estacionarse. Es un hotel mucho más silencioso y tranquilo que uno en el centro.

el hotel es nuevo muy lindas habitaciones e instalaciones pero lejos del centro de Guanajuato. Buen precio para la comodidad del hotel y solo recomiendo considerar que usar taxi para visitar Guanajuato que son muy accesibles en costo. Falta extender menú de restaurant para desayunos. Recomendable para negocios.

ESTUVE MUY AGUSTO EN MIS DIAS DE HOSPEDAJE EN EL HOTEL............LO UNICO QUE NO ME AGRADO FUE QUE NO ESTUVIERA EN SERVICIO EN EL SPA......

Me hospede cuatro días, al primer día no lavaron los vasos, y al ingresar al desayuno se nos invito a consumir del bufete o bien el desayuno continental, al segundo día de nuevo la cafetera estaba rota y no sacaron los filtros del café, así mismo al asistir. Al restaurante a desayunar ya no se permitió hacer uso del bufete y solo se nos sirvió desayuno […] continental a base de café, jugo y fruta, lo que habla mal de su servicio en primera lo ofrecen y segundo lo limitan, así mismo un desayuno continental incluye aunque sea huevos al gusto¡, ya al tercer y cuarto día no quisimos desayunar ya que la fruta la sirven sin sabor y nuy fria Mehr

Es un hotel muy recomendable ya que no está en el frecuentemente conflictivo centro histórico de Guanajuato, sin embargo, no tardadrá más de 15 mins. para llegar al centro si así lo desea. Yo viajé en motocicleta y es un hotel mucho muy práctico, en sus alrededores se encuentra todo tipo de restaurantes, estación de combustible, estación de autobúses, […] restaurantes, etc. el interior es inmejorable, la piscina es muy peculiar y las habitaciones me parecen excelentes. Sin duda alguna, ha sido mi mejor estancia en Guanajuato. Mehr
