"Tolles Hotel - viel Schein, weniger Sein"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 29. Jan. 2013Beurteilung immer in Abhängigkeit des Preises: Sauberkeit i.O., bei genauen hinsehen Staub, Kratzer und Abnutzung obwohl das Hotel relativ neu. Ausstattung nur zum Teil nutzbar wie z.B. Fernseher im Spiegel ohne Funktion (warum baut man dann sowas), Fehler konnte nicht behoben werden. Dusche war eher ein Rinnsal. Servicequalität: Kredit Karte ist bei CheckIn immer Pflicht, Hinweis das Kosten bei Abreise Cash bezahlt werden wurde "vergessen". Aber - Blick toll, Lage für die Innenstadt toll, freundliche Dienstleister, gute Organisation.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 6. Jan. 2013Das Hotel macht schon von aussen einen guten Eindruck. Es befindet sich zwar an einem Hwy, doch davon bekommt man drinnen nichts mit. Die Zimmer waren mit allem ausgestattet was man für eine Übernachtung nach einem langen Flug braucht, vor allem aber waren sie sauber und ruhig. Weder am Abendessen, noch am Frühstück gab es irgendetwas auszusetzen. Wir hatten keine großen Erwartungen an das Hotel, dafür wurden wir positiv überrascht.

I have been in literally hundreds of hotels over the years for work and I must say this by far the best I have been in. The cleanliness, the customer service, the breakfast, the atmosphere, the way the hotel staff makes you feel, the promptness and safeness, it cant be beat. And to top it off, Monday-Thursday they serve you a free dinner if you like. […] The menu for the whole month is printed off and put on your refrigerator so you know what is going to be served each day. I cant say enough good things about this hotel. 5 STARS!! My family and I were really very happy with the hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was restaurant quality good. The kids played for hours in the pool. "This was great!"
I really didn't expect this to be so good. Service was great and the rooms where very clean and modern. Breakfast was good as well. The only thing I think needs a little more attention is the swimming pool. We went during memorial day weekend and the pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, being a weekend like that I would have expected […] them to clean it just before the weekend started. The location was easy to find, and very close to the gym hosting my son's gymnastics meet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was extremely clean and new looking. The hotel is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff members were very professional and courteous. Very nice Hotel. We have stayed several times. My one complaint is that we had a fire alarm during the night and there was no guest notification that I saw. There were three beeps that half woke me up but then it stopped. (Lights were flashing in the hall but not the room. ) It took a little time (about 5 min) for me to realize what was happening. I […] called the desk and was advised everyone was supposed to come to the lobby. The hotel did not notify me. They need to update their emergency procedures. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing my husband and I didn't like (and this is minor) is the fact that the decor on the hallway walls were pictures of celebrities. One complaint. We had a room for a family of five and the first night we had 3 wash cloths, the second night we had1 and the last nigh we had 2. We would have needed 5 for each night. Everything else was fine. I just didn't understand the rations on the wash cloths . Over all good. Just a couple of slip ups. Garbage disposal didn't work. Maid did not speak English, We were granted a late check out Thank you, would have been nice if we could have made it 2pm instead of 1pm. I have been granted that many times at other hotels. Breakfast was advertised to start at 6am, but didn't start until 7am and I saw no notice […] of this. I understand starting later on a holiday, but notification would have been nice. "How many people stay at a hotel in their own town?"
I booked this hotel for my family because the fumes from our flooring installation had not abated, and we couldn't stay in the house for more than a few minutes at a time. Who stays in their own town? I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel, the personnel and the rate through hotels.com. In fact, the hotel is so nice that upon entering the lobby, […] I had to stop and step back to make sure I was in the right place, given the very low nightly rate. Sure enough, this was the Homewood Suites, Allen. The room was very comfortable - we were able to pick up groceries and make dinner in the suite. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic. My only regret is that I didn't book this suite initially - we stayed further away from home than we needed to the night before. I wish I'd have checked out this location sooner!
