The hotel was very nice. The room was very clean and updated. BUT...the smell was that of old gym clothes or someones stinky feet. Room number 622 needs either new carpet only for the smell or a very big air freshener.

Our stay at Courtyard Marriott was great. The food, the service and the rooms were fantastic. We had a very hectic morning and due to plane changing schedules we arrived into Houston much earlier than anticipated, 8:30AM to be exact. Check-in time is 3:00PM and lucky for us they managed to get a room ready by 11:00AM because my husband and I both had […] interviews at noon at the Texas Children's Hospital. The staff were professional and very helpful, as this was our first time in Houston. I think the coolest feature was being able to print your boarding pass for my 8:00AM flight that Saturday morning. This hotel was very convenient to the medical center. It was super easy to get to my appointment and park in a very short time. I like that they serve Starbucks coffee too.

Asked the front desk to quiet down the pool several hours after it should have closed. More than an hour later the noise continued. Lousy night sleep before a long drive...

We were very happy with our stay. Great location, super clean, and an awesome friendly staff! Would absolutely stay here again!

My flight to Houston was cancelled and because of using hotels.com I couldn't change my reservation, so when I arrived the next day my reservation had been cancelled despite my calling several times to make sure this didn't happen. The staff was wonderful at giving me a room right away while the manager figured out how to work something out that would […] t result in extra cost for me. Really pleasant and helpful staff. Only slight negative was that the room had a slight smell of mildew, probably just from the humidity sitting on the carpet. It faded after being in the room a few minutes and wasnt really that bothersome. I would stay here again and recommend it to others! Mehr

This hotel was convenient to the venues we visited in Houston. The room was clean and well maintained. The towels were very small and thin which was disappointing. The refrigerator had no freezer portion. One night we were bothered by noisy guests talking in the hallway at 1 AM but the other 2 nights were quiet.

We needed a hotel for the Rodeo (HLSR) and this was within walking distance to Reliant, this was perfect!!! The hotel was very nice, clean and I would definitely stay again. We had a balcony that overlooked the pool/garden area. This was a great find!

The hotel is excellent in all regards except the beds are too hard, and the couches and chairs are not very comfortable either. Also in the night the bathroom light can only be turned on if you have other lights in the room turned on. That disturbs the roommate.

We stayed here while attending the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at Reliant. Great location, nice newer hotel. Bistro food downstairs was convenient.

This hotel was VERY clean. It is also in a perfect location to get over to the Reliant Center for the Houston Livestock & Rodeo Show. Rates very reasonable and personnel were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here to go to the rodeo. This was a great location. The lobby was very comfortable - complimentary coffee in the AM and a spot to buy a light breakfast. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Decor is great. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was clean and nice -- convenient to Reliant and Medical district. This comment might seem strange, but if you're traveling with teenagers, it will make sense... the rooms could use another mirror! The only place you can fix your hair, makeup, etc... is in the bathroom. They could easily add a mirror in the rooms and it would help when traveling […] with a family. Overall, that's a really minor complaint. Also, I would have liked a bigger workout room as it was really crowded both mornings we were there. Mehr

We stayed here during a campus visit to Rice. The hotel is a bit too far to walk to the campus, but otherwise the location was good. The front desk and restaurant staff had great attitudes and were very helpful. Mike at the restaurant was a joy to deal with at breakfast each morning. The only problem was that housekeeping didn't clean our room one day […] even though we were gone from 10:30 to 4:00 that day. No big deal though. Mehr

Room incredibly clean and comfy, but I did miss not having a single local sports channel -- something I enjoy after a long day of business. Also, I took this hotel because it offered a shuttle to places within 2 miles, but my location was 2.1 miles and so while I was first told that was no problem, the next morning I was told it was too far. However, […] the internet was free, lovely having a fridge in room, and food in Bistro very good. Service on all fronts excellent. I got a special price for 3 nights through Hotels.com. As I travel to Houston on business a few times a year, I would love to stay there again, but until they get a sports channel and come down in regular price, I won't. Had a two night stay... Reservation confirmation had 2 queen beds and a couch.. When I checked in was told they do not have any rooms with a couch....Humm..We had cheer competition at Reliant ... shuttle only takes you to the Subway out side gate ...Check in was cold and not so friendly... Check out guy was great and very helpful....Not a bad place […] just needs some help with customer service.. so many hotels in the same area.. might want to step up some... Mehr

The good....comfortable bed/room. Clean. free parking and internet. The bad....funny chemical smell in room. Bistro service was awful! So inefficient and slow! Just get the free coffee in the lobby and go somewhere else to eat.

My family and I stayed here for a dance competition being held at Reliant Center. It was close to the Center and made it very convenient for us. There were a variety of restaurants to choose from and were easily accessible to us. The price was great and the rooms clean and pretty. The staff was super friendly. You have to pay for everything including friendly staff & directions. Front desk personnel should take a refresher Customer Service course.

We recently spent two nights at the Courtyard by Marriott on Main St. near the Medical Center in Houston while my husband was undergoing some tests. It's the best place to stay! Rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. There was a nice little bistro with tasty meals and snacks, and even a little convenience store. It was very convenient to the […] medical center, as well as to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay there again if we need to be near the medical center. Mehr

Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was spacious, had everything we needed, including internet connection and a refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable.

Stayed just for an overnight to attend the Feast with the Beast event at the Houston zoo. We utilized the complimentary shuttle to take us to the zoo so we avoided the headache of finding parking. The only downside to our stay was a little musty smell near the mini refrigerator. Like maybe it had leaked water onto the carpet. Not certain. We found the […] room and bed comfortable. Everything about this hotel was great. Food was also really great and the bar was also nice.

My focus was the accessible to Reliant Stadium and it meet my expectation.

Lovely hotel. Excellent staff. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Easy access to nearby medical facilities. Food service at hotel is minimal with few options on the menu. Business Center is convenient and adequate.

We stayed a few nights. The rooms are nice, the beds were comfortable for my husband, who is undergoing chemo. The first night we had a room that smelled of extreme mildew. The 2nd night, they put us by a family reunion. People were extremely loud. Not good for a patient going through chemo. But overall, we did enjoy the bed and the hotel.
