Bayview Hotel - Langkawi

The only reason I booked this one was because I did not have enough time do research on the hotel options available in langkawi. The hotel is neither close to the airport not is it close to the beach. So, you end up paying a lot for taxi to reach anywhere. The room smelled a bit stale but that was probably because nobody had used it for a while and […] the AC was not on. If only the numerous resorts at Pentai cenang were available for online booking, I would have booked one of them. For the same price, my colleague stayed in a much better beach resort by directly walking in instead of booking. But mind it, that is risky as you may end up without even a decent hotel during peak tourist season. Mehr

I had spent 1 night here and another night in another hotel, under the comparison, the other 1 is better, yet Bayview is not so bad.

Hotel is centraly lcated service is good , food is good , over all good hotel

A lots of hotel i was staying in, this is the best hotel cause it location ,service and food. Thanks for your effort that doing the best for customer staying in.

Staff not at all helpful . Very bad location would never stay there again and would never recommend this hotel . Nothing here to do and no night life . Not even one bar in the area !

i found this hotel only average , the bedrooms were really smelly , smell of dust and damp , i found it hard to breath at times also as the windows dont open this was not good, there was ants all around the sink in the bathroom and no movies on the t.v they did clean everyday and gave us new towels that was the only thing good

Not a very good location for aussies who like the beach can not swim on that part of the island at all ended up changing hotels with in 4 hours because of location. something you can not see when booking on line.

Location is near the pier if you are taking ferry. Hotel amenities are quite bad. No proper food around the place. If you are foreigner or travelling with young kids, may be quite challenging in terms of finding food. Condition of hotel room is pretty bad. Floor rugs are mouldy. Booked 2 connecting Executive Rooms with seaview. Rooms offer a beautiful view of the sea and you can watch sunset from the bedroom. Location is ideal & you can get easy access to the jetty for the boat trips out to the islands, street shops & to the night market and to the famous seafood place called Wonderland - though I think the stall next to Wonderland […] offers better seafood at affordable prices. You can also get to Langkawi's 2 main shopping malls easily & quickly from Bayview Hotel & taxis are easily available. Rooms & bathrooms are clean, relatively big & easy for the kids to run about. Overall, good value for money & a very relaxing stay. Hotel staff are all very helpful & friendly. Will choose to stay at Bayview again during my next visit. Mehr

Everything was good at this hotel, breakfast here is alot of variety both asian and western foods. Customer service was great. 20 mins from air port. The only down side was booking the tour through the hotel and not receiveing an english speaking tour guide, so i recommend ask for one especially. ４泊しましたがシービューにしなかったのが悔やまれます 今度泊まるなら絶対にシービュー。 窓が開かないのでカビ臭かった。 近くのタイタウンで夕食、店員が人なつこい味も良くて安い。おすすめですがお酒はない。

Prachtig hotel, mooi gelegen (dicht bij de ferry). Avondmarkt voor de deur, winkels om de hoek (loopafstand)

商务酒店的感觉，各个方面还是很好的。

De uitsraling van de hotels in Langkawi is duidelijk want minder dan Penang. Ook de inrichting, en omgeving van Bayview zijn in eerste instantie minder. Daarna blijkt dat het hotel heel praktisch ligt naast een groot aantal tax free winkels, dat de winkelstraten 's avonds in restaurants veranderen, en dat je maar 5 minuten van de jetty afzit. Zo blijkt […] Bayview een goede keus om vervolgens met huurauto het eiland af te rijden, want je zit overal redelijk dichtbij. In het zwembad deden ze niet moeilijk over het lenen van badhanddoeken voor het strand, goed ontbijt. Wij waren tevreden! Mehr
