Angesichts des Preises außergewöhnlich komfortable Zimmer. Gegenwärtig wird ein dritter Fahrstuhl eingebaut; es sind jedoch so gut wie keine Belästigungen durch die Baustelle zu bemerken. Das Hotel liegt jedoch deutlich abseits des Stadtzentrums von Alicante (ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß). Haltestelle "MARQ" der Stadtbahn ist direkt vor der Tür. Distanz zum […] Strand ca. 400 Meter. We enjoyed our stay at the Maya. The room was clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. I do recomend taking the breakfast option, as there was a wide choice of food on offer and plenty of it. The hotel is well placed for the beach, the castle and the tram station. Have used this hotel many times. As usual we had good service. Staff very helpful. The C6 airport bus now stops almost opposite the hotel which is very convenient.

We found the hotel to be very clean good price convenient location overall nice hotel, our one criticism no kettle in room ie tea cofee facilities apart from that great would definately stay there again

This hotel is very clean ,the bed was a bit hard for my husband ,and no kettle for tea or coffee making . it is very central and tram runs from directly across the road to take u to Benidorm very cheap return ticket . C6 bus from airport drops u off directly across the road from hotel and cost is a lot cheaper than taxi,ask the bus driver to alert u […] when u get there . the staff in hotel could not have been more helpful and breakfast was excellant , i would advise to book breakfast when u book as it cost a little more each morning for us to book when we arrived .we went in feb and couldnt find any english breakfasts anywhere close to hand . i would definately recommend this hotel .bathroom had makeup or shaving mirror ,brilliant and shower was great water always very hot . We had an excellent stay at Hotel Maya. The room was clean and looking out to the sea. Breakfasts were excellent and they even cooked us fresh croissants when they ran out. Food in bar in evenings was satisfying and other facilities looked good even though we didn't use them. Parking was secure, if a little over priced.

I enjoyed the hotel. It is very conveniently located. The place was very clean. Front desk were very friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location excellent. 10 minutes walk to marina and old town. Excellent good value menu of the day. Only negative was hot items on breakfast buffet which were not hot.

The foyer and restaurant areas have quite obviously been recently refurbished and look great. The room we stayed in was on the top floor and was extremley spacious with a few English speaking channels on the TV and free wifi in our room. The bathroom also was very spacious but I'd hazard a guess that the refurb downstairs hadn't quite reched the 10th […] floor yet as our room had an older feel decor-wise but it was still nice. The staff were all fabulous! Very accomodating and extremely helpful and for those of you who don't speak Spanish you'll be pleased to hear that most of them speak English! The one negative was the thickness of the bedroom walls. Our neighbours kept us up most of the night - not the hotels responsibility or problem but as feedback to you if you are a light sleeper or are unlucky enough to have inconsiderate neighbours maybe take some earplugs! Although not in the prettiest of locations the hotel Maya is convenient for the quiet end of the beach and only a 15 minute walk into the old part of the city under the castle walls.

Great location, within walking distance of all amenities including the barrio where all bars and restaurants are located, the beach and a very large supermarket (located in the Plaza Mar 2 Shopping Centre) and ts located at the foot of the Castillo de Santa Barbara. The swimming pool area is great and the staff are very friendly. The only problem we […] experienced was the staff on the reception are quite slow and we had to wait a considerable length of time to check in and our rooms were not readty for some time. The reason we chose to stay here was because of the breakfast so ill start commenting on that. It certainly was a full breakfast, freshly baked bread, cheeses and cold cut meats, scrambled and fried eggs with sausages, fried tomatoes and some mushroom mix. Pineapples and peaches, yogurt, some cereal, and a mix of desserts from apple pie to chocolate […] donuts. All in all, the breakfast alone made it worth our stay, even if I have to say that not everything was cooked to perfection and the drinks came from machines and were quite bad. Now for the rest: The staff is friendly enough, but outside of the reception staff not many spoke a word of english. For some reason the bed in my single room was really short! I am 5"11 and my feet were outside the bed more often than not. The pool area is OK, but there is alot of areas with shade and not enough chairs for everybody. It also closes kind of early, which is too bad as I enjoy my midnight swims, No english channels on the TV The balconies were not very cozy. All in all we had a decent stay, but nothing was every "better than expected". If i went to Alicante again I would try another hotel. Mehr

We went as a couple and had a great time! We had a double room and have no complaints. The room was big and pretty much what was in the pictures. The bathroom was nice and very clean. The maid cleaned every day even though we got up late most days and breakfast runs until quite late. The balcony was really good with a view of some of the castle. The […] breakfast was extremely good for a 3 star hotel with continental, cooked (full english) and cakes and doughnuts available! The pool area is really nice and we never struggled to find space. The staff were excellent and printed out documents etc for me and were helpful calling taxis etc. Free internet access was a bonus. The hotel looks a bit out of the way on the map but it is LITERALLY 5 minutes to the beach and the metro station is next to the hotel meaning you can get around the area really easily and the tickets are cheap. There is a hypermarket within walking distance which is useful. We were a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews about noise but can honestly say we didn't have a problem. The hotel also has tennis courts and a small gym and an activities programme including bingo, poker, pool sports and BBQs. You don't get bothered by them, but they're there if you want them! The outdoor bar is nice and particularly at night when the pool is surrounded by candles and there is the opportunity to dine outside in the restaurant! All in all, for a three star hotel this is wonderful value for money, with very little point paying the extra for a four or five star in the area. You won't get any more for your money. Mehr

If you are there for the beach this hotel offers a great location. 10 min walking distance to the beach. The castle is right behind it which makes for a nice view on either side of the hotel. Staff at the front desk was very busy so I did not get to talk to them. Restaurant highly overpriced and the food was not that great, but there is a shopping mall […] across the street (about 15 min walking) and you can buy many things in there. This hotel is right by the beach, so you need to drive to get back to the city center and I believe parking is a little problem there. Once I found parking on the street right next to the hotel (free of charge and safe just make sure you are not along the yellow line) I did not move. We only had 2 nights in there and main focus was the beach anyways. Overall great for the price. Mehr

friendly staff..for a 3-star hotel...good breakfast buffet spread though must be early for fresh fruit choices. Pool not ideal for lap swimming is great for cooling off in the heat..poolside catches the late evening sun. Location ..easy walk to beach and city centre and excellent location to tram station(Marq stop) to Benidorm and Denia and if lazy, […] other way to city centre.Also bus stop to city centre right outside hotel if really lazy or suned out!!!(hungover more-like). We chose this hotel for its location. Walking distance to city centre, beach, trams and buses. Taxi fare from airport in region of 18 euros. Just sufficiently far away from city centre to be quite (on the top floor). However, could sometimes be noisy from the street below at night. It was necessary to shut the double windows but the room became hot […] as air conditioning not very effective! Hard bed would be the only major complaint (but then we find ALL hotel beds too hard!) Great pool with cafeteria, not too busy, though gym was walled with glass on four sides without air conditioning rendering it unusable!! Great staff, friendly and speaking good English if necessary! Hotel is very central. Walking distance of the Beach and main shopping areas. Walking distance of the Castle. Facilities are good and food is very good. Staff are nice and helpful. Overall, no complaints.

It was everything I wanted. We walked to the beach, the port, and the Castle from the hotel with no problems.

Nice hotel with sea view. Clean with helpful staff. Good value and breakfast is ok too. About 15 minute walk from centre of town or five euros in a cab. I would stay here again.

We have stayed in several hotels in Alicante at much greater cost than the Hotel Maya, but considering this hotel is only given 3 stars it compares very well. Admittedly it is about a 20 minute walk from the main centre but there is a bus stop outside the main door and the tram stop is a one minute walk away. Plus there is a big shopping complex almost […] opposite. The overnight parking fee was only a third of the price we paid at a hotel in the centre. The entire hotel is very clean, rooms comfortable, not luxurious, but have everything you need including mini bar fridge and room safe. Bathrooms are good. We were staying for one night only as we were moving on to another city the next day but for our one night the hotel was perfectly fine. Checking in at night-time was not a problem, the room was large and airy with a couch and air conditioner/heater though the bed was a little hard. However it was an actual double bed as opposed to the usual two-singles-pushed-together […] that seems to be the situation in most other places so this was a lovely plus. Would heve preferred to have been nearer the beach, but ideal location for the Tram which was a great service and good value for money. Hotel was clean and tidy, Reception staff were helpful, check in was smooth. Would recomend

I spent 5 nights at this hotel and the hotel in itself is lovely however the description claiming it is 50 meters from the beach is wrong. it may be 50 meters in a straight line but not as you walk it. it was about a 10 minute walk down a main road which i did not expect. the rooms were cleaned daily and to a good standard but I did get the feeling […] the maids were using my friends make-up and perfume. we asked alot of questions of the people at reception and there only seemed to be one person who spoke english at any one time however the information they gave us was to a good standard. all in all a good hotel and i would recommend this hotel. vi var 3 voksne på opplevelsesferie i alicante. flybuss til hotellet hvert 20.min var supert og lettvindt. Frokosten oppe i mellometasjen var kjempegod. systemet med red. pris ved å kjøpe for en heluke, passet oss veldig godt. Beliggenheten til hotellet er vi svært fornøyde med : Muligheter til mange utflukter i nærheten ved å benytte t-bane. I tillegg […] var det mange muligheter for trening i parker og på strender. Var min första resa till Alicante och bokade hotellet på nätet. Hotellet var nyrenoverat under min 5-dagars-vistelse. Upplevde Maya som ett av de fräschare mellanklass-hotellen i kvarteret. Lagom promenadavstånd från stranden. Ett stenkast från borgen Santa Barbara. Kan vara lite trångt att hitta parkering utanför på gatan om man har bil men hotellet […] har garage mot avgift. Bra frukostbuffé. Liten trivsam bar och utomhuspool med solstolar. Mehr

hotellet var ok til prisen,men da vi skulle bruge byen flyttede vi derind efter 2 dage.hotellet er pænt rent men utrolige dårlige senge og ufattelig dårlig morgenmad...men mangler man bare en base er det fint til prisen.

la habitación enorme, con sofá cama, minibar, vistas maravillosas al mediterráneo (piso 10). cerca de la playa, paseo marítimo. a 20min andando del centro. bares y centro comercial al lado. lo único malo que se oye todo lo de las otras habitaciones. aparcamiento sin pago en calle de atrás.
