Das Hotel liegt 3 Minuten von der Bahn entfernt, die alle 15 Minuten zum Ortstarif in die Innenstadt fährt. Fahrzeit 20 Minuten. Zimmer und Bad sind klein, aber für einen Städteurlaub ausreichend. Frühstück ist reichlich und im Zimmerpreis enthalten. Wir haben nur einen Nachteil erleben müssen : Durch eine Lüftungsanlage wird ständig kalte Luft ins Zimmer geblasen, und das im April bei 8 Grad Aussentemperatur. Im Bad konnte man heizen, das Zimmer blieb kalt. Zumindest im Winterhalbjahr also nur zum Übernachten empfehlenswert.

zwar liegt das hotel schön am wasser, aber in direkter nähe keine bars, restaurants,... gym, etc wegen umbau geschlossen gutes frühstück, aber wenig originell
"Entspannung"
Schön, was aus der alten Bausubstanz entstanden ist. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag Kultur in der City kommt man gern zurück an die Bar, nimmt einen köstlichen Drink von sehr zuvorkommendem Personal, nimmt eine kleine Köstlichkeit aus der Küche und fällt zufrieden in ein schön weiches Bett...
"Atemberaubendes Ambiente"
Sehr, sehr schwierig zu finden... man läuft durch Unterführungen und Tunnel... aber dann entdeckt man das atemberaubende Ambiente! Direkt am Hafen gelegen, bietet das Marina Tower ein tolles Flair! Den ersten Fußmarsch in die Stockholmer Shopping-City haben wir unterschätzt (ca. 5km), aber mit den Tagen kommt das Training ;-) Hat man sich mit den öffentlichen […] Verkehrsmitteln vertraut gemacht, ist auch der Bus eine willkommene Alternative. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist phantastisch - sehr abwechslungsreich und super lecker. Die Zimmer (wir hatten low budget unterm Dach) sind urgemütlih und laden zum Verweilen ein. "Kreuzfahrtschiffe zum Frühstück und Abendessen"
Das Hotel liegt wunderbar am Wasser und gibt Gelegenheit die Kreuzfahrtschiffe und Fahren in den Norden beim Frühstück, Kaffee, Abendessen aus dem Hotelgartenzu beobachten. Wir hätten uns allerdings gewünscht, dass das Frühstück an Wochentagen länger als bis 09.30 serviert worden wäre. Ansonsten lässt Elite Marina Tower keine Wünsche offen.

"Elite Hotel Marina Tower"
Das Hotel liegt direkt am Kay mit Blick auf den Tivoli. Dadurch hat man einen schönen Sonnenaufgang und frischen Wind. Das Personal und die Anlage sind super!Mit dem Bus braucht man 5 Minuten zum Slussen, der Weg zu Fuß geht am Finnkay entlang und dauert ca 20Minuten-wunderschön. Das Essen ist hoher Standard und liegt vom Preis in der Mitte.
"Sehr gut gelegenes Stadthotel"
Wenn man erstmals im Hotel erfährt, wie es verkehrstechnisch angebunden ist, ist dieses Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Hotel liegt direkt am Mälarwasser, direkt vis à vis Skansen rsp. Waldemarsudde. Stündliche Schiffsverbindung nach Nybro, also mitten ins Stadtzentrum, Busverbindung (erreichbar via einem Lift gleich hinter dem Hotel) nach Slussen und weiter […] bis Centralstation. sehr schöne Zimmer, sehr kleines Fenster. Das Hotel Marina Tower liegt etwas ausserhalb der Stadt, sehr schön direkt an der Ostsee. Es ist jedoch unproblematisch, mit dem Bus der Linie 53 schnell in die Stadt zu gelangen (Haltestelle in der Nähe). Die Busse fahren bis spät in der Nacht. Das Hotel, eine ehemalige Getreidemühle, bietet allen Komfort, den ein Gast von einem Viersternehotel erwarten […] kann. Unser Zimmer, auf der Rückseite gelegen, war sehr gross und komfortabel eingerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich. lage gut nicht ganz im zentrum aber mit bus oder boot ist man in 10 min in zentrum. schöner blick auf den hafen.
"Abseits und doch im Zentrum,"
Das tolle an diesem Hotel ist seine Lage am Wasser und die idealen Bus- und Kursschiffverbindungen in das Stockholmer Zentrum. Für Meerblick muss man aber aufzahlen. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war eher mäßig, verglichen mit einem gerade davor gelegenen Griechenlandaufenthalt im "Neptune Resort" auf Kos. Das Hotel Marina Tower hinterliess bei uns einen sehr positiven Eindruck - vor allem ist die ruhige Lage hervorzuheben. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und, da es sich um ein sehr neues Hotel handelt auch sehr gut schallisoliert. Etwas negativ aus unserer Sicht waren: - z.T. unfreundliches Personal an der Rezeption - Extrakosten vor Ort, wenn man ein […] Zimmer auf der "schönen" Seite haben will - kalter Speisesaal morgens Was man sich bewusst sein muss, ist die etwas abgelegene Lage. Tolles Zimmer und gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Würde sofort wieder dort hingehen. Das Stadtzentrum ist eigentlich auch sehr gut und innerhalb von 10 Min zu erreichen mit einem Bus der bis 2 Uhr morgens verkehrt.

Das Hotel ist ganz neu, sehr schön und die Zimmer sind sehr bequem und sauber. Leider gibt es keinen Supermarkt oder andere Restaurants in der Nähe, dafür liegt das Hotel direkt am Wasser und die Gegend ist sehr ruhig. Auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen!

This is a very nice hotel. It is placed 2-3 km from Gamla Staden, which we thought was a nice thing. There was a lovely peace and quit in the area of the hotel. The enterance and front of the hotel is facing the lovely sea. Lovely. Breakfast was outstanding. The room was outstanding. The service was outstanding. Love Sweden, I know it well. The only thing missing in hotel bedroom is the use of tea and coffee facilities, we English do like a morning and evening cuppa.
I would rate the breakfast buffet a 5 but the dinner a 1.

I was visiting Stockholm for a weekend and was very happy with my stay at the Elite Marina Hotel. Room was excellent and the service in the hotel was top notch. Excellent location with great views of the waterfront. Have to travel back soon and will definetly stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very impressed with the hotel. It is modern. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with a large selection of foods so that everyone should be catered for. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is a little outside the centre of […] the city but there are several transport options including the ferry, bus and train. One complaint was that the gym and spa area were being renovated so that meant we had to change for the swimming pool in our room. My stay at the Elite Marina Bay was great, i was working in Nacka so it was an ideal location, but i would stay elsewhere if i wanted to be near the centre of town. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights and I found it a very pleasant relaxing experience, while on business in Sweden. The gym and pool area are excellent. Breakfast and food in the bar are also excellent. The hotel is located directly on the water, and you can get a small water taxi into the centre of the city for SEK 40-- ( 5 Euro) which takes about […] 10 minutes. The only slight critisism would be finding the location, on a Sat Nav, and more signage in the Hotel car park needs to be in the english language. Mehr

Placed a hundred feet from the water the Marina Tower has a great view overlooking the lush green Djurgården. The room was nice and clean, had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with a bathtub and Italian marble on the walls and floor. Two hundred yards from the hotel lays the dock from where you travel to the centre of Stockholm in 15-20 minutes. […] The breakfastbuffé was a bit less then expected, not a lot of different kinds of bread, the scrambled eggs are made by powder, the bacon was not crunchy but hard and greasy, the orangejuice was not freshly squeezed but used concentrates and too much water, didn't try the apple juice. The coffee was a bit diluted but drinkable though. They also offered a smal variation of danish, fruits and cereals. The service from the staff was a bit less then one can expect from a four star hotel, forgot an order. All in all, if you want to live close to the water, a great view and have a quick, cheap and enjoyable boat trip to the city centre, this is the hotel for you. Everything about the hotel was great, from the service to the breakfast, the rooms, the indoor pool and gym. For 40 crowns you can take the water taxi to Gamla Stan or save your money and walk (a very nice walking path along the water) about 3.5 k to city center.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is amazing. The boat taxi, for about 40 SEK, just outside the hotel takes you straight to all the sights in stockholm, without being in the middle of downtown. Excellent views and wonderful stay. I highly reccommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Ferry from Central of city runs about every 30 mins during the day. Bus is easy too. Elevator from street level to harbor level is a bit of a puzzle to find from the bus stop. Historic building, so many of the harbor view rooms have a single funky narrow window. Not a problem, just don't look for a big walkout. Breakfast has many many choices, […] fresh and tasty. The Elite Hotel Marina Tower is a good example of what a hotel should be like. Excellent, weel kept up rooms. The personnel are well trained, polite and friendly and make an effort to help and please all of the customers. And they are successfull. We loved the unique way to go to Stoclholm - by the boat "Mysing" . The morning buffett was very rich and well presented. Safe, comfortable lodging that is very accessible to bus line. Hotel is somewhat far from Gamla Stan, but you are a short walk to the bus stop and can readily get where you need to go.
"A nice hotel, but not near anything"
While it is in a fairly attractive waterside location and is a superb conversion of an old flour mill, this hotel is quite isolated in a quiet, out-of-the-way residential neighborhood. The hotel is fairly near the stop for the 53 bus which goes to and from central Stockholm (very slowly in rush hour) and very near a ferry stop for central Stockholm […] 20 minutes' away by boat (the ferry stops once an hour or less) but there are no restaurants in the neighborhood of the hotel, or even within quite a few minutes' walk. This means the hotel's fairly expensive restaurant has no competition. The restaurant has a limited menu but very good food. However, the attitude of the waiters is strange. They really don't appear to want to serve anyone; instead they stand around talking to each other, even when they see guests needing served or with their meals finished. It's as if the waiters can't be fired and know it. As a result service is slow and erratic. The waiters' attitude is all the more strange considering that the front-desk staff are very helpful and clearly want to make guests feel comfortable and wanted. Mehr

The Sentrum hotel is rated higher on Expedia but I actually found the Elite Hotel Marina Tower to be far superior in every sense, from comfort to the staff to the amazing breakfast (one of the best complementary breakfasts I've […] ever had at a hotel). btw,definitely splurge on the Deluxe room, as well; we upgraded our room when we arrived and that small difference in price got us an incredible harbor view, a much larger room with a distinct living area, and wood floors. This place is a great place to stay hands down. And you won't find a better deal anywhere in Stockholm. The breakfast is first class and plentiful. You won't be dissapointed. The rooms are big by Europe standards and have a tub/shower in bathroom which is big also. The staff couldn't have been any nicer or helpful. The location is the only problem if […] you let it be one. It is a short 15 minute bus ride (picks you up at top of stairs to hotel) to a subway stop or the city center and only 20 minutes from the central train station.
