Das Hotel liegt ruhig und nur durch eine Strasse vom Strand entfernt und man könnte es als Strandhotel bezeichnen, trotzdem war das Vergnügungs- und Dinnerzentrum Patongs nur einige Schritte entfernt. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, man geht über die Straße und ist am Strand. Auch die "Vergnügungsmeile" ist es nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Trotzdem ist es nachts ruhig. Aus den meisten Zimmern hat man Seeblick. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, sauber und die Putzfrau war jeden Tag da. Das Frühstück war auch ok, man hat eine gute Auswahl zwischen thailändischen […] und westlichen Speisen. Die Pools waren auch sauber, allerdings haben wir diese nicht genutzt. Das einzige, was nicht ganz optimal war, war der Service an der Rezeption, die Angestellten kamen uns arrogant vor und nicht besonders hilfsbereit. Das Englisch ist aber ausreichend. Vom Flughafen ist es ca. 45min mit dem Taxi entfernt. Wir können das Hotel empfehlen, wir hatten dort einen schönen Abschluss! Mehr

We chose this as a spring board hotel but ended up staying 3 nights! It was away from the hustle and bustle and noise! Just a short walk to the main strip....and welcome relief! The staff were great! It may not have been the ritz but the price was ideal

Great location immediately across the street from the beach. Easy access to beachfront restaurants, shopping, etc.. 5-10 minute walk to Bangla Road. The room was very, very basic and the bed was very hard. Hotel staff were helpful with planning transportation and day trips.

Great ocean view from my room. I would have liked a room with a balcony but it was still a great view. However, sun light would come through the bottom windows and the shades were not long enough to cover it. Also, one of the shades was broken and was tied to a chair to keep it up. By huge great fortune this very nice hotel turned out to be at the quiet end of Patong Beach, though walking distance to most things. The beach is directly over the road, but the hotel pool got a lot of my time too. Very pleasant room, with a balcony overlooking the pool and across to the beach. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast in a lovely restaurant, […] either open air looking across to the beach, or inside if you prefer. Major problem with Patong for the solo traveller is that there is essentially no public transort between the beaches on the west coast of the island, as the "tuktuk mafia" control the place. This means that to visit another beach such as Karon or Kata (lovely!) you have to take a tuktuk there and back for 400baht each way. This makes such outings expensive on a refular basis. Similarly, to get to the Jungceylon shopping centre, it is about a 30 minute walk, which is a bit hot at times, and again, a tuktuk is the only option. OK if you are a group who can split the cost, I suppose, but it was just very annoying not to be able to hop on a bus. Mehr

Please be careful and book only suites in the so-called new/ suite wing. They are not exactly deluxe but at least remind of hotel rooms. The other wing is not an option. And please do not expect customer service. Staff make you feel as if you were staying at Faulty Towers...

The second we stepped into the hotel we were treated with great hospitality. We arrived early and the staff let us check into our room earlier because it was ready. We had the top floor room which had a wonderful view of the beach and surroundings. we stayed there for 4 nights, and was a very good stay. although we stayed in the "old" building but it was very clean and well maintained. The location was very convenient you just need to cross the street and you are tanning on the beach, the employees were very friendly. the breakfast was not that good. but overall very good hotel to stay in

Enjoyed having the view of the beach and ocean from the room on the upper floor, and the location was great for visiting Patong at night and traveling south to the viewpoint during the day.

The Bliss was great and perfect for all our needs. It is far enough away from the real busy part of Patong to allow a relaxing stay. The airconditioning was fantastic and the cleanliness of the room was 100%. Out toilet did block a couple of times but was fixed quickly both times, there was also no hot water one morning again this was rectified immediately […] and really no hot water is not really a problem as cool showers are necessary to get relief from Patong's heat. Our plunge pool was perfect for us and gave us more freedom for whenever we wanted a dip. The hotel site directly opposite the beach is also perfect and views "to die for". We had some really lovely meals and cocktails from the Cafe and would also recommend going there esp for a refreshing lunch. We booked our Phi Phi Island Cruise with reception and they were most helpful. I would definitely stay at the Bliss again and would recommend the Bliss to anyone. Mehr

The hotel is lacking in maintenance. The TV viewing experience was poor.The number of channels, the quality of reception was extremely poor. Breakfast was not suitable for Vegetarian persons.The rates quoted by hotels for tours and excursions were exorbitant.

Nice clean resort, reception staff lovely and very helpful. We stayed in a Pool suite for 14 nights, it was extremely spacious and very clean inside.The first night was a bit of a shock as the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor, in the morning we went to the reception and told them and they organised an overlay... a bit different to the […] sleep number bedding advertised, however it did help a little!! The noise level through the night was terrible, continually being woken up by the never ending fire crackers going off on the beach and people walking home from the bars at all hours, we expected being away from the main party area for this to be much quieter. The pool is situated on the beach side of the hotel with continuous traffic and people walking past, so not the privacy we expected. The pool staff spent a lot of time at the pool trying to clean it but they did have trouble getting the levels right and the green off from the corners. Breakfast was fine, the usual varieties at a Thai buffet style breakfast, but was very shocked to see some staff filling their plates using their hands from the buffet early one morning, did turn us off having anything that we didn't see cooked in front of us! The location was about a 15 minute walk to Bangla Road and close to lots of shopping and market areas. All in all a great holiday but wouldn't stay at the Bliss again, purely from the noise aspect. I stayed 3 nights with my 15 year old daughter great location walk to everything. Directly across from the beach south end of Patong, great views from balcony. Swam mostly in pool as beach not as clean at the south end, the pool was very clean there are 2 pools at the motel. Breakfast consisted of plenty of food choices, wifi was excellent. Staff were fabulous. Room was pretty good overall. I suggest they put signs up in the bathroom to tell guests not to flush toilet paper etc. We were not aware of this and it was an issue in the beginning....

This is a great place to stay for a night or two. I was very happy with everything except that they need to work on their maintenance a bit more... The shower did not drain well at all, the shower head was not a good one and kept moving when the pressure kept going up and down, there was no full body mirror, only one in the bathroom and the lighting […] isn't the best. The staff is Awesome and go out of your way to help, the restaurant has really good food and friendly staff and pretty much everything other than the couple things I mention above were great. We were at this hotel for 12 nights. We had a wonderful time. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Would do anything for you english was not a problem.Breakfast was very nice with everything prepared fresh. Depending on your budget we would recommend the new part of the hotel which are the suites. These are much more modern and the rooms are […] bigger. But if you do not want to spend too much money the older section is fine. The beds are very firm but they do not apologise for that as they are chirporactic and we never had a sore back the entire time. You can request a softener for the mattress. Apparently they are going to update the older part of the hotel in the not too distant future. The location was perfect, lovely restaurants only a short walk away not to mention the markets and shopping centre. The hotel is located just across from the beach although there are two pools at the hotel. It could get quite noisy at times but that is Patong in general and if you closed your double doors it was fine. Would definately stay there again! Mehr

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was very friendly. There is a nice part to it, but obviously you have to pay more to stay there. For the price we paid for the room, it was very nice, clean and comfortable. The price for an extra bed is a little high but everything else was great. It is a little further away from all the craziness of Patong, […] which was nice if you don't really like all the crazies. It's right across from the beach, the breakfast was good, the people were nice and free wireless was fantastic.
